The location is perfect as a base camp to explore this fantastic region, just 8 minutes from Mossman, 20 minutes from Port Douglas, and 20 minutes from the Daintree.
Sites are located by the stream and are well-shaded in the afternoon and morning, but with enough sunny space to charge solar panels. Adjacent to the campsites are horse and cattle paddocks, where you'll see our animals grazing.
All campers need to be self-contained with their own camp toilet. There is however water available.

We situated on the Rifle Creek. 1km of the creek boarders the property. You can walk to town for dinner from the property but still feel like your away from everything.

Lovely spot to stay the night at after platypus hunting in Yungaburra. Basic facilities but fitting with the vibe, very peaceful and loved being able to see the goats and chicks in the morning!

We had a real magical time here, Emma was a brilliant host! She showed us and the kids around the farm letting us meet her goats, feed the cows and collect eggs from the chickens. She even brought baby goats down to the camp-site to let the kids feed them milk and meet some very friendly dogs. She even gave us trays of eggs that where collected that day from the chickens! Luckily we got to see a baby cow being born during the night and she walked straight up to meet us in the morning! Your kids will love this spot! Camp site had everything we needed from toilets, showers, fire pit and power. Only a short drive away from other activity spots like lake eacham and yungaburra. Was a lovely trip full of memories will definitely be back

We really enjoyed our stay at Emma's farm stay and camping. Our son loved feeding hay to the cows and collecting eggs from the chooks. And we were given lots of fresh eggs! They tasted great! And they even supplied fire wood. A great spot close to Lake Barrine and Lake Tinaroo. Definitely recommended.

We had a perfect spot at number 4, plenty of full sun for solar collection.
Plenty of open grassed space for the kids to play, the creek was also fantastic for both big and small kids to play and swim in.
Just a note that there is no water available at all and if you need to top up tanks you will need to collect from town.
We are a big rig and had no issues with getting in or out.
We will definitely be back next time we are up that way.

We had a lovely stay. The camp was well set up with good facilities, and the host was welcoming. A highlight for us was feeding the goats and collecting fresh eggs from the chickens. We also felt very safe throughout our stay, and the location is convenient for exploring the area.
One thing to note is that the paddock is smaller than I expected, and without trees it does feel a bit close to your neighbours. That was really my mistake for not reviewing the listing properly, I usually look for more secluded camping. I just thought it might be helpful to mention for anyone looking for more private spots.
Overall, it was a great experience and I’d happily recommend staying here. Thanks again for hosting us.
