How to get to us? We have two ways in .
Option 1:
Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks .
we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre.
Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended.
Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.
This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We do have 2 wheel drives make the journey !

Welcome to She-oak Hideaway, located in Maryvale by the riverside.
The riverside is a peaceful place with two large camping areas and firepits.
There are 2 large waterholes suitable for swimming, fishing and kayaking.
Down by the riverside you will see Water dragons, turtles, ducks, swamp hens, many birds, occasional Wallabies and Koala. Most afternoons the local Rikali (Australias Otter) can be seen diving for Yabbies.
We are an 11 minute drive to the very popular Main range national Park which has some beautiful hiking trails and is the perfect place for a picnic. We have a great country pub close by as well which is a short walk down a country lane.
Pets are welcome but please ensure they are under your control and that you clean up after them. Campers must be self sufficient with their own toilet.
Rubbish bins are provided for campers and a treated rain water tap is available. Kayaks and life jackets are available on request.
1 - 10 Amp power connection is also available on request.
Firewood can be purchased for $15 a bag or $20 for a wheelbarrow full.

For Horse Enthusiasts
A secure fully fenced front paddock can accommodates up to two horses easily, the horses can easily be observed from the kitchen window. Water is provided; the owner of the horse will need to supply feed and hay. For insurance reasons, riding is not permitted on property, but local riding trails are just 20 minutes away. Float parking is available—please enquire with the owner. A liability waiver will need to be signed.

Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.
This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We do have 2 wheel drives make the journey !

The riverside is a peaceful place with two large camping areas and firepits.
There are 2 large waterholes suitable for swimming, fishing and kayaking.
Down by the riverside you will see Water dragons, turtles, ducks, swamp hens, many birds, occasional Wallabies and Koala. Most afternoons the local Rikali (Australias Otter) can be seen diving for Yabbies.
We are an 11 minute drive to the very popular Main range national Park which has some beautiful hiking trails and is the perfect place for a picnic. We have a great country pub close by as well which is a short walk down a country lane.
Pets are welcome but please ensure they are under your control and that you clean up after them. Campers must be self sufficient with their own toilet.
Rubbish bins are provided for campers and a treated rain water tap is available. Kayaks and life jackets are available on request.

For Horse Enthusiasts
A secure fully fenced front paddock can accommodates up to two horses easily, the horses can easily be observed from the kitchen window. Water is provided; the owner of the horse will need to supply feed and hay. For insurance reasons, riding is not permitted on property, but local riding trails are just 20 minutes away. Float parking is available—please enquire with the owner. A liability waiver will need to be signed.

We had a brilliant time at Bushyswood, our van spot was next to the previous lake entry which has been has water vegetation grow allowing birds and wildlife to gather, even though we didn’t have direct lake view we still had a view of the water and it meant we had a quiet spot! I took two of my closest girlies for a getaway at Split Yard Creek, and we loved it! The property is lush and peaceful, despite the close proximity of the road, and the hosts and their doggos are so lovely!
It's the perfect place to unplug for ladies looking for some peace and quiet away from family/work/responsibility - there is nooooo reception !! Reset your rhythm by falling asleep to the sounds of nature, featuring the creek itself, and wake gently to the birds singing and the sun rising through the trees, or to the sounds of the rain. There are plenty of ways to relax, like reading and napping and snacking in the hammock under the willow tree, or cozying up around the fire, but also enough to do to keep moving, including exploring the property, or wandering the Sunday flea market at Fernvale.
There are no amenities, so byo or be prepared to go bush.
Absolutely recommend and will definitely be back!

I loved tent camping at Base Camp. It could drive in with my KIA without a problem and park right next to where I pitched the tent. Great kitchen facilities, and hot showers and toilets all very clean. The views were amazing and Tania was lovely

This is an exquisite tranquil place to stay. Road heading out can be hard as it’s rough however new roads are nearing completion. Would highly recommend anyone looking for down time to consider this as an option

A wonderful weekend camping with friends at Busywoods. Lots of room didn’t feel like I was on top of other campers. The dam was lovely to go for a paddle on the free kayaks and for a swim. The amount of beautiful milkway stars are night were amazing. Will be back for sure

Bushywood is a excellent hipcamp. Bushy was so welcoming and assisted with anything we required. The sites are very well maintained, and the toilet blocks very clean.
There is enough room to spread out and not feel like campers are on top of each other.
The lake is beautiful with complimentary kayaks for use. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

What a fantastic weekend we have just had! The weather was abysmal all weekend however it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits Our group camp was full of laughter chatting catching up guitar playing singing and generally relaxing. Bushy and Emma are the most fantastic hosts and went over and above to ensure we all were have a wonderful stay at their property. This was our second time out there and certainly won’t be our last. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Hosts Emma and Bushy were wonderful and friendly.
Grounds were amazing with great facilities.
To top it off the D'Ag Pub has a courtesy bus that will do pick up/drop off to the camp grounds.
Can't wait to go back!
