Our convenient location makes Mt Glorious Getaways the perfect place for romantic weekends away for Brisbane locals, or a great alternative for interstate and international guests who’d prefer to stay in nature, while still having Australia’s 3rd largest city a short drive away. Nature lovers & birdwatchers have been coming to Mt Glorious Getaways for years to enjoy Mount Glorious’ plentiful and exotic bird life. Our close proximity to Maiala, Manorina, Boombana & D’Aguilar National Parks makes Mt Glorious Getaways a popular choice for hikers, and those who enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Our stunning mountain top location has become a favourite for couples wanting a beautiful and unique wedding destination, that’s convenient for local and interstate guests. Wedding parties are able to book the whole property, and our immaculate grounds provide a stunning setting for a day you will never forget.

This spacious cottage is completely private featuring gorgeous views over the rainforest & right out to the ocean on a clear day. The spacious living area contains comfortable couches and lounge chairs, along with a TV, Blue ray DVD player, Bose iPod / iPhone sound speaker & fire place for warm, cosy winter nights. Guests can prepare meals in the kitchen which is appointed with a cook top, microwave, refrigerator, tea kettle & toaster along with the necessary cookware, dishes, cutlery and a dining table for six. Three bedrooms in total ; one Queen plus two more with two (2) single beds in each. Guests can enjoy the covered patio which boasts a picnic table, BBQ, and amazing forest views. Guest access Set on 50 acres of gardens and pristine private rainforest, Mt Glorious Getaways offers self-contained cottages with TV/ DVD Blue ray player, Bose iPod / iPhone sound speaker, full kitchen, and a balcony featuring views over the rainforest. Built in 1994, each of these very comfortable cottages has a private bathroom, fireplace and BBQ. The exterior of the cottages are made of wooden timber slabs to match the early pioneer buildings of the area. Wi-fi is accessible for all guests from the seating area in the Garden Rotunda. On-site car parking is provided. Located adjacent to Maiala National Park, Mt Glorious Getaway Cottages are a 50-minute drive from Brisbane city centre.

After a full day of exploring the outdoors, guests will appreciate relaxing in the spacious living area which boasts comfortable couches, and a cozy fireplace. A second sitting area can be found adjacent to the kitchen and contains a sofa, TV / DVD Blue ray player, Bose iPod / iPhone 'sound speaker and dining table. Meals can be easily prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen which is appointed with an oven, cook top , refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, tea kettle & Toaster , along with essential cookware, cutlery, and dishes. The rainforest country homestead is a great retreat for families or friends with views through the forest to the city. Nestled in the rainforest 680 metres above sea level, Mt Glorious is generally around 5 degrees cooler than Brisbane. Absolute peace & seclusion - perfect for romance & relaxing, with lots of birds & bush-walks. Children are welcome, with plenty of space outdoors for them to play. Wi-fi access is available from the homestead.
