Crystal Creek Ranch

19 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents100 acres · Upper Crystal Creek, NSW
Welcome to my beautiful 100 acres that backs on to Springbrook National Park. There are crystal clear freshwater creeks. Most campsites next to the creek. The property is mostly natural bush with some cleared patches for camping and horse grazing. The road entering the property is damaged due to the resent rain and you will need to drive through water. Most cars are safe but if you have a low set car or if you are delicate with your car I would not recommend. Only 30 mins from natural arch and 20 mins to great fishing and crabbing in the tweed river. Dog friendly (must be well controlled no aggressive dogs). Drop toilets and hot showers. There are 2 cabins available each with private portable toilet and hot outdoor showers. Campfires permitted ( when fire bans not in place) and wood can be purchased in advance during booking process. No fire wood to be collected off property BYO or purchase in advance. Not a place for loud music and parties, happy for everyone to have fun but noise is restricted. If you are a disturbance to other campers you will be asked to leave without a refund. PLEASE READ THE CANCELLATION POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING!!!

Figtree Farm at Findon Creek

4 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents600 acres · Kyogle, NSW
Experience Figtree Farm at Findon Creek, a 600-acre natural oasis. Tucked away in a tranquil, secluded sanctuary, this hidden gem is surrounded by Long Creek to the south and Findon Creek to the west, while the northern edge extends to the breathtaking Border Ranges National Park. Nestled on Gullibal land, Figtree Farm provides captivating vistas of Jalgumbin (Mt Lindesay) to the west and Lever's Plateau, a designated wilderness area of unlogged subtropical rainforest, to the north. This cherished, family-owned farm has a rich history, transitioning from a dairy farm to a beef property. Today, it flourishes with diverse native trees, cabinet timbers, a specialised plant nursery for native trees, and a bespoke joinery workshop crafting designer furniture. While Figtree Farm has been a cherished camping destination for over two decades, we're excited to welcome guests from Hipcamp. Our first site, Jaya's Camp, is ideal for larger groups, offering a picturesque river flat alongside refreshing swimming holes. Explore the great outdoors by wandering along our extensive bush tracks and trying your hand at fishing in our farm dam stocked with silver perch. Figtree Farm is a haven for an abundance of bird and animal life. Here, tranquillity reigns, undisturbed by wandering stock, save for the occasional serenade of our friendly donkey neighbours. Figtree Farm at Findon Creek promises an unforgettable escape into nature's embrace.

The entrance to the national park is at the back of the cabin, with fantastic walks and water holes along the creek. Mount bally summit hike is at an elevation of 380 meters with extensive views to Byron Bay to Stradbroke island. There is covered parking for 1 car. If you don't feel like cooking there is a great little cafe only 1 minutes drive, that's open for breakfast or lunch. All you need to bring with you is your groceries, toiletries, a towel for swimming in the creek, some good walking shoes and maybe a great book to read. The cabin is not suitable for children or pets. New fire pit installed. Treat yourself to a wonderful time to relax and unwind. In August we even have fire flies that can be seen just after sunset along the creeks in the vegetation. The base of the ancient Bally mountain is right here. Offering hiking trails just steps from your campsite. Wander along the charming creeks where you might spot Azure Kingfishers, Satin Bower birds, spotted pardalotes, kookaburras, magpies, spangled drongo, dollar birds, and more. As night falls, gather around your fire pit and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the valley. Fire ban restrictions will apply at different times of the year, so please check before lighting a fire. Experience the simple joys of nature in Bonogin Valley and Mount Bally.
