River Run offers: farm animals, swimming, excellent fresh water Fishing (Bass, Barra, yellow belly, prawn and silver perch), boat ramp, bike track and kayaking on the river is spectacular.
River run has an amazing variety of bird life due to the large body of fresh water and pristine habitat creating a great environment for spotting native animals including wallabies, echidna and platypus, which have been sighted at the boat ramp.
We are pet friendly too as long as your animals remain on a leash and are under full supervision at all times.
River Run is only a short drive away from lots of great experiences, Markets, Mural trail, horse riding, adventure activities, history, museums, Festivals, art and culture that are sure to inspire.
Thursday is market day in Marybrough with live music, town tours, great food fruit and veggies.

We have 5 dams and 2 that are great to swim in with kayaking in both and a large pontoon on our main dam, there are free roaming cattle to camp along side with lots of birds and animal wild life to enjoy .
We have 1 powered location on Dingo Ridge hill top with 5 powered site
We have 4 different camping locations along the creek, Platypus Bend, Possum Patch, Froggy Flat and Wallaby Way.
We have 3 toilets and a Hot shower , our water is filtered, but not suitable for drinking, we advise you bring your own drinking water but we do also sell drinking water .

Heaps of rides just out the gate though through forestry tracks. (turn left out of the grounds, then left again onto Priddy Rd, cross Tin Can Bay Rd and ride for miles into the forestry) Ask any questions , we are fellow horse people afterall :)

You must have your own toilet to stay here and be able to remove all grey water. Our regional council does not allow us to host swag/tent campers. Tents and swags may be permitted if accompanied by an RV or caravan, please ask us first. Virtue Farm is a council approved self-contained recreational vehicle ground.
Arrival after dark is by prior arrangement only as we have no lighting on the farm.
We are 10 minutes from Hervey Bay and 10 minutes from the K'Gari (Fraser Island) barge that leaves from River Heads. and only 10 minutes drive to Hervey Bay's beautiful beaches
We are building a productive, diverse permaculture farm incorporating a market garden, food forest and small volume egg production. From your campsite, on our farm block, you will have sensational views to K'Gari (Fraser Island) whilst being surrounded by 27 acres of bushland that is reserved for nature and registered with Land for Wildlife. Expect to see amazing colours at sunrise and sunset.
Enjoy the many birds and animals that you will see as you spend time exploring our bush and farm. There's the added bonus of a range of fresh, organically grown produce to be harvested daily at a small extra cost. You will love the peace and quiet of our block and the huge array of wildlife that choose to call our place home.
To preserve this tranquility, pets and rowdy groups are not suited to this camp site. You are welcome to camp in family and friendship groups. If camping in a group you can choose how closely to camp near each other. If not with a group you must be at least 20m away from other campers to respect their privacy.
We welcome you to Virtue Farm where we are creating a chemical-free, sustainably grown, productive, diverse, permaculture farm incorporating a market garden and food forest.

Limited firewood is sometimes available. It can be bought at a reasonable price about 9km along the road towards Burrum Heads..
Campers must be self-contained with their own toilet and shower and need to remove their rubbish. Particularly suitable for RVs and caravans with own toilet.
Well suited for overnight travelers passing between Maryborough and Bundaberg, or others needing a few days rest, fishing or water activities.
Sandflies are a problem in this region anywhere near water, in the mornings until about 9am and in the evenings after about 3:30pm, so bring plenty of repellent and apply early and often.
Sites are 30-40 metres apart with a maximum of 8 vehicles and their occupants in the whole property. No overcrowding!
Looking for a special breakfast or brunch? Try Goody’s on the Beach, a 3-minute drive away at Toogoom for great waterside dining or Arkarra Gardens, 10 minutes away for a tropical rainforest dining experience.

There are 2 boat ramps about 7 or 8 klms from the property.
Arrive between midday and 2pm if possible so you can set up your camp. Don't forget to bring your insect repellent as you are in the bush and beside the river.
We have also just built a shelter shed/camp kitchen have 1000 litre water pods.
No rubbish bins at the camp so bring everything you need & remove everything you bring.

From your campsite, on our farm block, you will have sensational views to K'Gari (Fraser Island) whilst being surrounded by 27 acres of bushland that is reserved for nature and registered with Land for Wildlife. Expect to see amazing colours at sunrise and sunset.
Enjoy the many birds and animals that you will see as you spend time exploring our bush and farm. There's the added bonus of a range of fresh, organically grown produce to be harvested daily at a small extra cost. You will love the peace and quiet of our block and the huge array of wildlife that choose to call our place home.
To preserve this tranquility, pets and rowdy groups are not suited to this camp site. You are welcome to camp in family and friendship groups. If camping in a group you can choose how closely to camp near each other. If not with a group you must be at least 20m away from other campers to respect their privacy.
We welcome you to Virtue Farm where we are creating a chemical-free, sustainably grown, productive, diverse, permaculture farm incorporating a market garden and food forest.
Families, regardless of number of children are $35 per night maximum ( book for 2 adults and 2 children even if you have more!) couples and singles are $25 - extra adults are $5 per night.

Rosgrow Farm, 15 minutes off the Bruce Highway, offers secluded campsites set on a large tidal creek. There are plenty of trees and shelter. The creek offers fishing, crabbing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, boating and swimming.

Fire pits and picnic areas make the sites perfect for evening relaxation with bird life and jumping fish, talking about the day's fishing or eating the day's crab catch.
Limited firewood is sometimes available. It can be bought at a reasonable price about 9km along the road towards Burrum Heads..
Campers must be self-contained with their own toilet and shower and need to remove their rubbish. Particularly suitable for RVs and caravans with own toilet.
Well suited for overnight travelers passing between Maryborough and Bundaberg, or others needing a few days rest, fishing or water activities.
Sandflies are a problem in this region anywhere near water, in the mornings until about 9am and in the evenings after about 3:30pm, so bring plenty of repellent and apply early and often.
Sites are 30-40 metres apart with a maximum of 8 vehicles and their occupants in the whole property. No overcrowding!
Looking for a special breakfast or brunch? Try Goody’s on the Beach, a 3-minute drive away at Toogoom for great waterside dining or Arkarra Gardens, 10 minutes away for a tropical rainforest dining experience.
Pricing: Basic booking is for a vehicle with caravan, or an RV, and 2 people. There's nothing here but peace and quiet, spacious sites. The banks of the river are quite high and there is limited access into the water.
There are 2 boat ramps about 7 or 8 klms from the property.
Arrive between midday and 2pm if possible so you can set up your camp. Don't forget to bring your insect repellent as you are in the bush and beside the river.
We have also just built a shelter shed/camp kitchen have 1000 litre water pods.
No rubbish bins at the camp so bring everything you need & remove everything you bring.

Peaceful 5 acres lots of trees on one half , cleared on the other with a huge dam, with lily pads a wharf, great place to chill back ,watch all the wild birds, ducks, cockatoos, hen birds, spoon bill birds, whistling ducks, Galahs, Rosella's, rainbow lorikeets, king parrots, Magpie Geese, Kangaroos, Goanna.
We also have sheep, goats , chickens, turkeys, which the kids can feed in the afternoons.
We are only 5 mins away from the Ferry to Fraser Island, 10 mins to Hervey Bay, with its Esplanade , bike, & walking trails, also there is dog friendly beach's.
Great place to stop, and rest before Fraser Island, we are dog friendly, but must be kept on leash at all times.
We have power available if needed, but that is $10 extra a night in cash paid to us.
If possible we prefer check ins before dark.

It was a beautiful, remote, relaxing spot. beautiful breeze and captivating star gazing. I would bring insects replant especially if near the water, there was all sorts of bites and itching when we first arrived. Showers are nice. very quiet when we went. only 3 other people were there. Would recommend for a family or a relaxing getaway but country side vibe.

10/10 very recommend! Stay there for one night on my way to the south, it is a beautiful farm stay. I was luckily only person there that day. The bathroom, kitchen all the public area is sooo clean and well maintained. And the I’ll cry for the pressure of the hot shower! Better than my own place ! I also met two pony horses and two donkeys, they are all so chill and friendly! Tho I drive my lil car there, the access is very rocky had to go extra slow

A very peaceful park, beautifully presented with manicured lawns, very clean and tidy, flat and the pool was an extra bonus for the hot weather. Nothing like taking a dip in a Pool surrounded by pine trees and mountains! The memorial to our Veterans extra special also surrounding the dam. Lisa was so welcoming and accommodating to any question. Loved it so much we have booked 9N at Christmas 2026.
