We offer 10 camp sites to suit self-contained campers who bring their own toilet/shower and water supply. No campfires and guests must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Camping in a quiet, peaceful rural location with lots of space, at a small private vegetable market garden and hay farm. You can base yourself on our property while making trips to nearby Mossman Gorge, Port Douglas, Daintree National Park, local beaches and other attractions. We offer sites beside a vacant farm cottage and hay shed, or a choice of other areas around the farm. Campers have use of spacious, clean amenities with hot shower, toilet and vanity. In the drier months, from April to December, we bale our pasture, and grow mixed vegetables and flowers to supply a local outlet. See Facebook: Pink's Produce, Miallo. Ours is a working farm that the two of us (not young folks) manage on our own. Campers can join in whatever we are doing at the time, stand by and watch, or just sit back and enjoy. If you are interested in growing veggies or just seeing how we do it, then we are happy to show you around. Otherwise you can just relax in peaceful surroundings. Our farm also offers unique elevated views of the local farming area with a backdrop of The Great Dividing Range, the Coral Sea and Port Douglas. There is also an impressive variety of butterflies and bird life to enjoy. Hosts are happy to show campers around our market garden that we start cultivating after the wet season and usually continue until December - weather dependant. Guests will have access to a portable fire place during their stay as well as a BBQ grill and hotplate. Firewood is available for purchase. We have electricity available from the vacant cottage at $25/night. Must be booked through Extras. Our 150acre property has spectacular mountain views, as well as views to Port Douglas and the Coral Sea. There are small creeks on the property that attract birdlife and have a variety of freshwater fish and turtles in them. Nearby there are several larger creeks for cooling off, and properties with horses, cattle and sugarcane. We are a 15min drive to Mossman, the closest town, and 45mins south to Port Douglas or north to the Daintree township. You can take a shortcut to the road to Daintree via the WWII Japanese Miallo Bombing Memorial.

The central dam is effectively the size of a small lake, creating an immediate and impressive bird habitat. We were lucky to watch Brolgas, jacannas, and other waterbirds feed and rest along its edges, offering excellent viewing. The retreat is incredibly peaceful but remains conveniently close to the amenities in Mareeba. This provides a perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. Brook was a lovely host who gave excellent recommendations for local sightseeing. Highly recommended for a peaceful stay with great birdwatching.

I stayed here for a couple nights and had the space and creek all to myself! The site is private and the creek is so pristine. The waterhole close by that is recommended, is absolutely superb. Went to the Julatten Hotel for dinner one night which is literally a couple minutes away. The beautiful lady that’s lives on the property is soo lovely. Perfect for a private camp site with quite a shaded area with dinner and lunch options close by, along with pristine creek dips. 100% recommend! Thanks for having me :)

We loved our stay at Kingston Road farm! The view is simply spectacular and the campsite is peaceful and quiet with lovely grass area for tent setup. Toilet and shower facilities are clean, well maintained, and very easy to access. Nerida and Mick were so welcoming and generous, giving us a tour around the farm and sharing their fresh produce with us! We had the best time and will definitely be back in the future!

We were greeted by Mick and Nerida who were wonderful. The site has a great bathroom and shower making it glamping. The location is at the foothills of the Daintree Forrest’s. We were given a tour of the farm and the history of the farm. A great tour to take if offered. Would recommend Mick and Nerida to anyone who wants to spend a hassle free camping trip near the Daintree. My wife and I give them 5 stars.

We received a very warm welcome and they showed us all their land and told us about it! They also showed what they grew on the land and we even received some vegetables as a gift! we immediately cooked with this ;). There was also a separate room with a shower and toilet which was very clean! I don't have enough words for it, but we enjoyed it so much and will never forget this experience and the lovely people! If you get the chance, definitely go here!
