Option 2: From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road. We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest. There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway. It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest. Enjoy the spring fed dam in the warmer months. 🏊‍♂️ There is plenty to explore in the area, including: 🏞 Crows Nest Falls National Park (good for a swim) 🐃 Bullocky's Rest and creekside walk in Crows Nest (dog friendly) ☕️ Lovely cafes in Crows Nest (eg. Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise. Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek branching west of the Mooloolah River to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots/shoes are highly recommended. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). There are Portaloos located at or near all campsites. Caravans or motor homes are not permitted due to the steep terrain. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. Located roughly a half-hour drive outside the township of Beaudesert, the property features four cottages. Camping from $50p/n and our cottages from from $385p/n. Our sunrise campground has 15 large sites, and Ironbark has 9 sites (for group bookings). The property is fully fenced, with spectacular views of Lost World and Lamington National Park. Please note: we DO NOT have $50 rooms! Please note we do not have restaurant on site, so please bring all your food and water with you. If you are camping please ensure you bring all your equipment. We can do up a BBQ packs, cheeseboards, Breakfast - please ask us for pricing. The site is semi-off-grid, with two toilets and two showers. It’s a short walk to the Albert River for swimming, fishing, or searching for crystals. There is a tennis court and playground for children. From our sites, you can see and hear a variety of animals: mini cows, mini donkeys, mini goats, lots of sheep, as well as our camels and alpacas — all very friendly and waiting for a feed and a pat. We have a walking track to the top of the property with breathtaking views of the valley. At night, enjoy stargazing and see the Milky Way like never before. There is a small shop on-site in case you need firewood, drinks, sweet treats or a barista coffee. We can also supply cheese boards and picnic lunches. (Notice of one week must be given)

We are an accommodation camping ground within Crystal Waters Eco Village which is also a Wildlife Sanctuary. NOTE: No Dogs or Cats allowed. There are Toilets, Showers and Camp kitchen use included in the fees. Camping at the Eco Park is great for those who enjoy the relaxing bush setting, birds and wildlife and gazing into the clear night sky. We have an abundance of Kangaroos, Wallabies, other Australian native wildlife and many Bird varieties which is an attraction for many visitors. With powered or unpowered camping/van sites, plus bunkhouse single beds and private queen bedrooms, there are options to suit most visitors. A stay at the EcoPark is a great getaway from the stresses of city living. We provide amenities block with male and female toilets, hot showers, laundry, and a covered Camp Kitchen with cooking facilities, fridges and an oven. The local village green is a 5-minute walk, providing guests with delicious food options from the Coffee Shop or the Sourdough Bakery (some times like Saturday mornings. The Village green is also host to monthly markets and music events, children's playground, shared office space, book exchange, weekly pingpong and exercise groups. Thursdays to Sunday the Coffee Shop is open with ample space on the Deck for breakfast or lunch and catch up with family and friends, or meet a new face. The Cafe is always a favourite for the whole family. The Bakery is Open Friday nights, Saturday and Wednesday mornings for Bread, Pastries and Coffees. The Conondale General store is a 10-minute drive away and Maleny is a short 25-minute drive filled with quaint cafes, Woolworths, IGA, and many attractive stores, art galleries and a bustling music venue. Public Free Wi-fi is available at the Ecopark and the Village Green/Deck.

Access to my property is via a gravelled road, and a concrete causeway over (Christmas Creek) and a low concrete gully crossing. You will be driving through my neighbours property to get to my property so please drive slowly through my neighbours property as he has cattle. Access to the campground from my property and Double Gates is via a gravel track. 4WD Recommended. Please drive slowly as I have cattle on my property. Thanks

Situated on the bank of the Andromache River, setup camp at one of our cozy camp spots and enjoy the quiet of the bush. We have sites available in our grassy paddock which are accessible by all vehicles. Sand camping is available for 4x4's with tent/swag set ups during the dry seasons. No trailers or vans are permitted on the sand due to bogging. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of a campfire and visual displays of local wildlife, try your hand at fishing in the river or just enjoy a cool swim just a few meters from our grassy sites. Guests are required to be fully self-sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Nice and functional cabin with large communal and eating areas. Clean and well maintained. Split system air conditioner with heating was helpful for cold nights and morning. The firepit outside was great for roasting marshmallows and treats! No reliable phone or wifi coverage makes for quality time so have some activities and games on hand for personal interactions.

This was a beautiful bunkhouse stay with everything I needed to refresh during my road trip! The shared camp kitchen had everything I needed, the showers were clean & hot! And the bunkhouse had plenty of storage room to spread out my gear to make sure I was ready for the next day. The lake is so beautiful & the stars that night were incredible!! Love the location, surrounded by national parks to go exploring. Thankyou so much, I will absolutely be back!

Absolutely wonderful stay. Can’t wait to come back. The owners are lovely and very helpful, and their land is just a dream to be on. So many animals to watch and the sunsets are incredible. I would be happy with any of the sites they have available! Highly recommend hiking up the back to Jinny’s Lookout. The views are incredible (you can 4WD up half the way if you’re confident but wouldn’t recommend without some experience or right equipment on your vehicle).

Weekend Trip to Larapinta

Where do I begin!! Woody fulfilled everything! Scenery was amazing, from a sunset to raining mornings, kangaroos and cows/horses! Easy to navigate, not too far from local shops (Beaudesert), and lots of exploring to do left of larapinta’s driveway up towards Christmas creek! We also met our host Ashley, an amazing person who was good for a chat and gave us good tips and pointers if we wished to do some scenic driving within their acreage. Heater inside kept everything cosy and outdoor heated shower gave us an amazing “off grid” experience. 10/10 reccomend!

We took the glamping package which had a toilet and a shower a must for me. We even bought our gold prospecting machine. Sad to say we didn’t find gold but happy to report we found diamonds. At night we lit a fire and the stars in the sky were breathtaking like millions of diamonds. The owner Ben was very helpful and his kids were gorgeous.
