Weekend Trip to Run Amac

We camped at back creek S1 and it was gorgeous, had a lovely view of the mountains, and surrounded by horses. Kimberly and her mum were the best hosts ever. Coming around to tell us a bit about everything, places we could go exploring or 4wding. They also spent almost 2 hours tripping back and fourth to their house and the neighbours to help us fix a flat tire, couldn’t recommend this place more.

Beautiful spot to go and relax. Every site is clean, tidy and neat and is right next to the Condamine River. This is a great campsite that will definitely see us back again.

Weekend Trip to Gleneden Farm - Heritage Produce

Well grassed spacious and private site. Very tranquil setting. Got our 19 foot van in. On departure if towing and leaving via the 2wd get the 1st gate open so you don't have to stop. We stopped to open the gate couldn't get traction, reversed back to the creek and gave it another go without having to stop for the gate. All good. Left the gates as we found them. A good spot for a getaway

Very lovely hosts. Lovely grassy areas. Large campsites and good amount of spacing between campers. Unfortunately due to floods the river wasn't the greatest and access was a bit difficult due to errosion making cliff edges, but still pretty to camp next too. The hosts were very flexible with our booking as we paid for 2 nights but could only attend 1, but still messaged through they would allow us to come back another time for a 'free night'. Much appreciated.

We had the most gorgeous spot on the river at Warrego Farms. Glorious big open skies to see magic sunsets and starry nights. Paddling and fishing in the river, campfire cooking, and so many birds. We had a porta loo close by which was well looked after. We even bought some honey from Lesley, which is the best we’ve had in a very long while. We highly recommend checking it out.

We had THE BEST spot camping at Berrima at the TopCamp site. A clear view of the milky way all night and a dreamy sunrise to wake up to. Beautiful surrounds and great amenities. Our host Bruce was super friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to coming back and enjoying more time at Berrima!

The portaloos were very convenient at night and the showers were good to have. And the owners were very helpful and the breakfast was amazing. Definitely would recommend!

We loved camping here with our friends. We have 5 jet skis and hung out by the lake all day. The campsite was lovely, the owners were super friendly and the facilities were good. Outlets and nice hot showers. We had a nice big fire pit and wood bbq. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you

We had an amazing and relaxing one night getaway at this spot. Paul was a super friendly and accommodating host who made our stay comfortable and hassle free. The dog loved exploring the property with us and swimming in the creek. We enjoyed watching the native wildlife and even had a close encounter with a Tawny Frogmouth who visited our campsite in the evening! Also a great spot for families with kayaks and games available for use. Couldn’t have had a better experience and would highly recommend.

Loved our overnight stay at Emmaton. So convenient, easy to find and also very easy to park the van (drive in drive out). Lovely clear night sky and so handy to have a toilet, shower and kitchenette for use. Close to shops and highway but minimal noise. Would recommend!

The site features grassy undulating land, so you will need to level your camping vehicle. Small crops, strawberry farms and logging from the history of German settlement is a part of the story of Blenheim QLD in the Lockyer Valley. This property among many still bear the scars and remnants of those large trees. Many varieties of animals call these remnants home. Callemondah is Aboriginal for "Many Hills" and the Farm is an Aussie Whites Sheep Stud Farm. Callemondah Camping is a new designated camping area that overlooks a picturesque waterhole and park like setting. There are fire pits to cook your food with and to have a campfire, just ask for a load of firewood or book it through Hipcamp here. We can hold and cater for functions such as Birthdays, Anniversaries, Weddings and Corporate Outdoor and Team building Functions. We do allow dogs that must remain on a leash at all times. You can also bring your horse/s on planned events and ride through the paddocks and hills of Callemondah Farm. The farm is a scenic mixture of wide open grazing fields and areas of native bushland which features native bird life and wildlife such as cockatoos, black cockatoos, galahs, crows, mapgies, kangaroos, wallabies, goannas and more. The Rosenthal creek meanders through Callemondah Farm which is very beautiful and makes for a lovely walk or to sit beside and create a painting. You can go for an amble throughout the farm or do a larger hike and take in the spectacular views from the various high points. (by arrangement only) Breeding Stud Sheep is the main agricultural activity on the Farm and there are pigs in the newly built piggery, poultry, farm dogs, horses and other farm animals featured. Visit the iconic Ambulance Museum that tells the story of Ambulance services in Queensland. We are within easy reach of Highland Falls which has some great walking tracks and view points of the falls. Pets are also permitted in this bushland area but must be on a leash. We are just 3 mins from local shops, McDonald's, KFC. This is the perfect spot for those who want to wind down and escape the hustle and bustle. There are 2 large waterholes suitable for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Down by the riverside you will see Water dragons, turtles, ducks, swamp hens, many birds, occasional Wallabies and Koala. Most afternoons the local Rikali (Australias Otter) can be seen diving for Yabbies. We are an 11 minute drive to the very popular Main range national Park which has some beautiful hiking trails and is the perfect place for a picnic. We have a great country pub close by as well which is a short walk down a country lane. Pets are welcome but please ensure they are under your control and that you clean up after them. Campers must be self sufficient with their own toilet. Rubbish bins are provided for campers and a treated rain water tap is available. These best describe this 754 hectare (1864 acres) property. Stonepine Ridge is 'remote' - your camp sites are away from any dwellings - but you are still close enough to country towns across borders. Map to get here ( https://stonepineridge.com.au/map/ ) There is plenty of space for social distancing. Most camp sites are 50 or more metres apart. The terrain is mostly treed with some cleared, pastured country. On the border with the Queensland town of Stanthorpe, Stonepine Ridge is close to the historic areas of Willsons Downfall and Amosfield in New South Wales. Home to many rivers that traverse the property from top to bottom, the Boonoo Boonoo and Bookookookarara rivers and Undercliffe and Boonoo Boono Falls are close by and are popular sites to spend a few hours walking/hiking and immersing yourself in the ambient countryside. The Boonoo Boonoo and Bald rock National Parks are also within this area. The beautiful New England town of Tenterfield is about 20 minutes drive from the falls and offers visitors many shopping and restaurant options. Be sure to stop en route to visit the World War 2 tank traps - (Australia's Maginot Line) and Thunderbolt's hideout. A short drive across the border into Queensland will give you access to the Girraween National Park and a host of wineries, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. This camping property is large and you will find no better place that allows for gentle as well as more advanced walking, hiking and mountain biking. The altitude on the property varies from 900m at the top down to 50m to the bottom. The temperature is variable with mostly cool nights, which makes for restful sleep and a nice fire to add to the ambience.

I have 8 sites at the moment each one is in a open bushland setting with lovely views, no site is within 100 meters of another and each one has a different view with lots of privacy, and all Dog and Kid friendly, shallow water, and deep water for swimming or kayaking , creeks, animals to feed and heaps of room to run and play. Adult friendly, huge sites for big groups and plenty of space, great swimming and lots of things to here and in the surrounding areas. Some sites are more suited to Caravans as the access is better and some are better suited to campers / 4WD but all can be accessed with a regular car. We have NO road frontage so sites are private, quiet and safe and only 3ks off the New England Highway. All campers MUST bring their own Chemical toilet and shower facilities. A small rest room and shower is available in case of emergency only I run a working farm raising Sheep and Lambs, Chickens, Ducks, Horses, Donkeys, Vegies, Preserves and Jams. Farm produce is available on request and availability, eg Free range eggs , farm raised Lamb, locally sourced Bacon for the BBQ , and seasonal vegetables, jams and chutneys. Thanks to the Beautiful rain we have had recently, our large dam is full, providing a wonderful spot for swimming, paddling or just splashing about, the Dam has long sloping access so is great for families and dogs, PLEASE NOTE The Google Maps photo is way out of date, our Dam is full. For those who may be into Waterskiing or Fishing Leslie Dam is a 10 min drive away and offers fishing and water sports then come back to your quiet camp away from the crowds. We are 20 min South of Warwick, We are only 30 min from the Stanthorpe Wineries, Breweries fresh fruit and Vege, Cheese factory to name a few things to do. A little further along you will find Girraween National Park renowned for amazing walks. Warwick Hosts the Biggest and Best Campdraft and Rodeo on the last full week of October (Covid permitting) as well as the quirky Jumpers and Jazz festival in July. Steam Train Journeys , half or full days, We have an amazing motor sport venue which holds meet every weekend, cars bikes, vintage, minis, Porsche's, you name it they race it every weekend. As well as many Equestrian Events, you can spend the day out exploring and then you can come back to your beautiful campsite, that is if you have not decided to stay relaxing and swimming for the day in the quiet watching the sheep and horses pass bye to then watch the Sunset and wildlife then look at the amazing night sky.
