Welcome to Mountainview at Long flat, a picturesque property surrounded by mountains, river flat and the beautiful Hastings river. Our property is located 45 minutes west of Port Macquarie and 20 mins from Wauchope. Located on the edge of the small community of Long Flat. Mountainview offers approximately 15 acres/700mts of riverside van sites which cater only to self-contained vans. Public toilets are within easy walking distance in the local township of Long Flat where you will also find a great pub and general store to resupply (1 km from property entrance). The property features a gated entrance and graveled road for your convenience and safety. We have 13 designated van sites available with plenty of space for privacy. If you are booking with others, please let us know so we can site you together. We are unable to accommodate tent sites. The river is a perfect spot to swim, kayak or fish with plenty of wildlife around to see, river shoes are advised for your comfort. The river can sometimes be swollen and fast flowing. Please watch children at all times. Camping fires are only allowed outside of fire restrictions. Fires must be in a proper container / bucket. Please leave site clear. If you forage for wood please clear site of whats left before leaving This property is pet friendly though we do ask that owners leash and clean up after their fur babies. Dump points are located at Wauchope and Port Macquarie. We ask that all rubbish is taken with you upon leaving. Please be mindful that we do have neighbours and we ask that you be respectful and keep all noise to a minimum after 11pm and before 6am. Please DO NOT cut through our neighbours property to get to and from pub. This is classed as trespassing and you will be ejected from property. If broken glass is left behind on the site it will result in an instant ban. Ph service is available in the area. Absolutely NO dumping of black water on property. At Hamiltons Hideaway we have 6 generous sites set on the banks of Pelican Creek. Fishing, mud crabs and wildlife at your site. With access to the Manning River with either a canoe, kayak, SUP or tinny. Or just fish off the bank for a flathead, bream or mullet. Spacious area for a game of cricket or just for the kids to run around. Relax by the creek of an afternoon watching the sunset. We are located 5mins from the Pacific Highway, 5mins to Harrington and 10mins to Crowdy Head. Close to town for shops and courtesy buses run to the property from the local pubs and club. Welcome to Mountainview at Long flat, a picturesque property surrounded by mountains, river flat and the beautiful Hastings river. Our property is located 45 minutes west of Port Macquarie and 20 mins from Wauchope. Located on the edge of the small community of Long Flat. Mountainview offers approximately 15 acres/700mts of riverside van sites which cater only to self-contained vans. Public toilets are within easy walking distance in the local township of Long Flat where you will also find a great pub and general store to resupply (1 km from property entrance). The property features a gated entrance and graveled road for your convenience and safety. We have 13 designated van sites available with plenty of space for privacy. If you are booking with others, please let us know so we can site you together. We are unable to accommodate tent sites. The river is a perfect spot to swim, kayak or fish with plenty of wildlife around to see, river shoes are advised for your comfort. The river can sometimes be swollen and fast flowing. Please watch children at all times. Camping fires are only allowed outside of fire restrictions. Fires must be in a proper container / bucket. Please leave site clear. If you forage for wood please clear site of whats left before leaving This property is pet friendly though we do ask that owners leash and clean up after their fur babies. Dump points are located at Wauchope and Port Macquarie. We ask that all rubbish is taken with you upon leaving. Please be mindful that we do have neighbours and we ask that you be respectful and keep all noise to a minimum after 11pm and before 6am. Please DO NOT cut through our neighbours property to get to and from pub. This is classed as trespassing and you will be ejected from property. If broken glass is left behind on the site it will result in an instant ban. Ph service is available in the area. Absolutely NO dumping of black water on property. Jo and Ian were delightful to meet. They showed us to our space and were very engaging and helpful. They even explained where the shade would be at different times of the day which fantastic considering it was 40’ She Oaks was our first hipcamp and we are sold. It was serene, secluded and a few steps from the Karuah river which we swam all day and night. Tip- take water shoes. We will be back.

We stayed at the Rapids campsite and it lived up to its reputation… Perfect for keeping cool in the warm weather and beautiful to fall asleep listening to the water run over the rocks. Jo was friendly and professional, escorts you to your site, sites are well maintained a little dusty due to the hot weather and lack of rain. We enjoyed our stay but unfortunately cut it short true to the extreme heat wave. We will be back!!!

What a beautiful place!!! We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to go back! Rick and Cheryl’s place is so warm and welcoming, nothing is a bother! The river is clear and beautiful, the hospitality is amazing, feeding the animals was an absolute highlight for our little city kids! It was a struggle to get the kids out of the place! The sites are so big and the is plenty of shade along the river. Toilets were super clean and well Maintained. I honestly could rave about the place for days. Book a stay is my advice!

We absolutely loved camping at Bundilla River Camp. Large grassy sites, the river was the perfect cooling down spot with boogie boards and kayaks available. The kids swings and bikes were an added bonus and we really enjoyed the farm tour. We loved that we could order wood which was delivered straight to the site and the baked goods by Nicole were so delicious!
