We (Brian and Sally) have been re-vegetating the land and living here sustainably being “Off Grid” for over 45years, surrounded by bush with 3km of Stockyard creek meandering through the valley. HOT and dry summer so the creek is not flowing at present. We would love to share this paradise with those wanting to get away from wifi and the hustle and bustle of city life. (for emergencies we have satellite phone) Children under 4yrs are free. Dogs welcome but kept on a lead during the evening.
No leeches and No ticks in this area. NO close neighbors. Perfect spot to pitch your tent or set up your camper in the valley. Lots of sunshine and lots of shade. Easy dirt road access (6km) Some sites require/recommend 4WD -some 2WD is fine. Check with us before booking if needed.

We’d definitely recommend this place! Debbie and Lambert were wonderful hosts, incredible welcoming and accommodating especially with our later check in. Debbie was available at all times for anything we needed and Lambert showed us around the amenities which included a very modern bathroom and kitchen inside a large shed that we were lucky to have to ourselves for two nights. Also had some games for the kids and a book of recommendations on things to explore around the area. Lots of mosquitoes though, bring repellent, you’ll need it.

What an awesome place to have a break! Hosts are brilliant, we were taken to our super secluded site in the middle of the bush, with its own toilet 👍🏻 and fire pit! We also purchased some of their delicious resident honey. We will be back for sure!

We enjoyed camping at Brian and Sally’s place. Felt very relaxed nestled in amongst all of the beautiful trees. Very private and quiet area. Was handy having the pit toilet available and great to be able to take our dog along. Wish I’d packed the antihistamines as unfortunately we encountered a few ant bites and a brush with some stinging nettle!! Despite this we all had a lovely time an would recommend to other campers

The best decision we could have made to stay for our time at the Hunter Valley.
We stayed down by the dam and had access to water and power. Beautiful grassy area and so quiet. Felt like there was no one else around.
Make sure you do the wine tasting. Excellent, and a lot of fun.

Everything was fantastic, she met us and took us to our pitch. The pitch was stunning, Natalie even opened the shower and toilets for us - was not supposed to have power or water but she also made it happen. Welcome suprise after a long drive!!

We had a fantastic stay and loved having the camp to ourselves — it made for a really peaceful and relaxing experience. The toilets and showers were excellent and very well maintained. The land was flat and made setting up camp quick and easy.
The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area, which was much appreciated, and access to the site was straightforward with clear directions. Overall, a great spot and we’d happily stay again.

A great central spot while visiting the local wineries. The two highland cows were a highlight! Got to give the donkeys a good scratch on the head too. Hosts were great with communication and very friendly. This area of NSW being so dry meant the ground was a little dusty and dead - so I do hope some rain is on the way. Would book again if we are ever in the area

Lots of space. Very easy to find. Some noise from the highway and freight trains, but very close to Polkabin and the Hunter wineries. Lovely people.

What a great little cost-effective place to stay. The kitchen and bathroom facilities and the cupboard shed area for wet nights makes it an excellent location to stop.
Some people have mentioned the smell in their reviews, we didn’t get any of this. But there is so much space undercover where I’m sure you can hide out if there was a smell and still enjoy yourself.

Great for an overnighter. Flat areas to park up and lots of room. Quiet too. No facilities but tidy and very easy to get in and out. Also easy to find. We’d certainly use it again.
