🐟 Welcome to Bass Billabong - Cedar Creek Farm 🐟 Tucked away along the banks of Cedar Brush Creek and right on the Great North Walk, Cedar Creek Farm is a hidden oasis of peace and beauty. Spread across 100 acres of rolling pastures and rainforest, it offers spacious, private campsites, perfect for unwinding, reconnecting, and escaping the everyday. The creek features a 20-foot swimming hole, just right for a refreshing dip on warm days. It’s also home to Australian bass, so you can enjoy a bit of catch-and-release fishing, or simply relax by the water’s edge and fire up the BBQ. Nearby you’ll find mountain and dirt bike trails, Treetops Adventure Park, Amazement Farm, and horse-riding experiences. It’s also a sanctuary for nature lovers, photographers, and artists alike. Keep an eye out, you might even spot a platypus Even though it feels a world away, we’re only 90 minutes from both Sydney and Newcastle, making it an easy and rewarding retreat. And the best part? Cedar Creek Farm is pet-friendly. 🐾 To keep the experience private, we welcome just one booking at a time, so during your stay, the whole place is yours to enjoy.Tucked away in the peaceful surroundings of a small cattle farm, Bass Billabong offers the perfect getaway, surrounded by wooded hills and the gentle flow of the Cedar Brush River. The campsite is great for small gatherings or multiple bookings for family and friends, just let me know the details and I'll coordinate with you. There’s no toilet on-site, so please bring your own portaloo.

Suzy is a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make our group stay fabulous. The location is a short distance from Sydney, but feels secluded. Great swimming hole and 5mins down the road to Yarramalong for an excellent coffee. Highly recommended!

Bass Billabong is a beautiful location with loads to explore. The wildlife, including deer, birds etc was amazing to see. Suzy was very hospitable in welcoming us and showing us around. If you want a peaceful, private spot - this is the place for sure. Highly recommend Bass Billabong

We had a very relaxing stay at Suzy’s place. Our pup wore himself out exploring. Suzy was very welcoming and gave us a good run down of her property when we arrived. The beautiful little billabong was great to camp by. Even saw the platypus. We’ll be back. Thanks Suzy.

Absolutely wonderful property and campsite. So peaceful and serene. Lots of wildlife - cows, deer, plenty of birds & wombat holes (we didn't see a wombat this time). A lovely walk through the paddocks, and a tough but rewarding walk up the hill and bush. Perfect spot for fishing and swimming when the weather is warmer, so we will definitely be back!

Suzy is an exceptional host making our welcome pleasant and knowledgeable of the property. Lucky for us we had pleasant weather wich aloud us to hang out at billabong the camp grounds exceptional, suzy is a great host we will have return at some time in future like summer.

Had my birthday party on Suzy’s property and it was amazing. Suzy is such a wonderful host and made us feel super comfortable, provided tons of firewood, water and privacy. Her property is amazing (esp. for big groups) and we even saw a platypus at night! Will definitely be back some time - thanks Suzy!

Bass Billabong is a stunning and tranquil campsite that truly feels like a hidden gem. The host, Suzy greeted us with warmth and kindness, setting the perfect tone for our stay. The place felt like something out of a Disney movie — graceful deer roaming freely, playful kangaroos hopping by, and a variety of colorful birds that kept us entertained throughout. We enjoyed a relaxing fishing too! We spent 2 nights here and loved every minute. We’re already looking forward to coming back for our next camping trip. Thank you so much, Suzy.

Suzy was an extremely accommodating host - great communication prior to the stay as well as on site. This is a great little stay on beautiful land. The creek was perfect temperature to cool down and the dogs loved it. Would definitely return.

We loved our stay with Suzy at Bass Billabong! Suzy was a fantastic welcoming host who was in direct contact during the seamless booking process! She met us on arrival and took us to our beautiful spot, camping right on the creek! The dog had a blast and the camp fire was second to none. The wildlife was fantastic with Suzy offering access to rest of the land and we took advantage of a beautiful forest walk, managing to catch sight of a stag! Would highly recommend this perfect spot to anyone and will certainly be back, definitely 5 stars 🌟

WOW! What an absolute gem! Despite the forecast being a bit damp our group had the best time. Suzy was incredible with communication and her kindness with helping us stay dry was much appreciated! We had plenty of space and flat spots for a trailer, tent, swag and van, and had a great fire. Bass Billabong is a beautiful property with plenty of scenery and walks to enjoy. Our dogs had a great time in the wonderful creek. We will be back for another visit ☺️ Thank you for sharing your property with us Suzy!

What a beautiful location to camp at! Set up peacefully next to the beautiful Cedar Creek that has bass to catch. Beautiful cattle on the field over curiously watching some mornings before moving on with their grazing. Wonderful wildlife as well from amazing birds to kangaroos and deer!

Paradise amongst the cows

We just spent the Australia Day long weekend at bass billabong and it was amazing. The kids were lucky enough to catch a few bass and even saw a platypus. Watching the cows graze was one of my favourite things to do while sitting around a camp fire. We can’t wait to come back.

The most serene and secluded perfect little spot to get away from everyone! My mate and our kids just arrived home after a night in Suzies amazing property. We went on an adventure into the bush to find caves, we saw a platypus, cows, horses, goats, plenty of fish and even some wild deer grazing in the paddocks. This place was perfect for us. I can't wait to go back again!

This place was brilliant. Suzy the host met me there and was lovely. It was quite pretty, it had deer from the mountains down in the evening and morning plus I seen a platypus and kookaburras. I would definitely recommend it.

Temporary site for Bass Billabong
We had a very special event at Cedar Brush Farm and couldn’t have asked for a better location or more support from host Suzy. Suzy ensures you have exclusive use of her beautiful site and billabong. The weather was very hot and the billabong was in constant use to cool off. The cattle visited camp one evening and were wonderful to have around. Suzy was really interested in our event and went above and beyond with thoughtful touches and assistance that helped make the weekend a huge success. Cedar Brush Farm is only around 1.5hrs from Sydney and perfect for a quiet getaway or group event. Suzy was the best host we’ve encountered across many Hipcamp bookings. Highly recommended and we will be back!

Great relaxing spot and helpful host. Plenty of wildlife and a tranquil creek to camp beside. Our dogs loved it. Stayed for 2 nights in our caravan - access is tight in a few spots, but manageable.

Absolutely serine, it was a perfect weekend escape no one else around, dogs can run free, wide open paddocks, mountain to explore. Nothing to hear but the array birds. We will be back!!

Such a perfect stay for us and our dogs - one of them is reactive so we have to avoid other dogs and here he was free to roam and swim and have the absolute best time. As did we!!! Suzy is an amazing host and we will definitely be back. Just loved it all.

We had such a lovely time at Bass Billabong. Suzy was so helpful and considerate and really made everything very easy and relaxed for us. We feel like we have found a treasure close to home and will definitely be returning. From curious cows, to deer, wombats, rabbits, kangaroos - we were surrounded by the best of the best. Sitting back watching the sun go down in front of an open fire with our dog was heaven! The little spot we called home for a weekend was flat - so easy to unhitch our caravan - and the views from every window of the caravan were beautiful. I wish we were there right now ! Thanks so much Suzy - we had a great time.

Was great campsite. It rained for 2 of 3 days but that in no way dampened the atmosphere. Great area to pitch tents, fish, kids to play, sit around fire , and enjoy! Suzy was great - met us and showed us to site, brought some dry firewood and was super friendly. Definitely recommend.
