Definitely don't recommend in the winter months. Grass was completely wet for days, site had zero sun, tiger leech present in the grass, no firepit or firewood to cut, no phone reception, lots of frog noises. Regretful booking. Positives were some wallabies jumping around and fog was nice but doesn't make up for the rest.

A handy little stay fairly close to home for us. Andy was away but stayed in touch. Easy to find campsite with good directions. Road can be seen from campsite but honestly there was negligible traffic on a long weekend and did not disturb us at all. We enjoyed the Deer, Wallabies, Ducks, Eagles and assorted birdlife as well as the gorgeous morning fog in the valley. It was peaceful even though the neighbours are close. No complaints from us at all. Thanks Andy for having us.

Such a beautiful spot. We had it all to ourselves and it was very peaceful. The host had freshly mowed out a lovely area for us, but unfortunately our dog went into the long grass and came out with a snake. We would still absolutely return to this camping spot, I just wanted to make other dog owners aware. Thank you for having us

We loved camping here, came as a couple with our small dog and we had a great time. The directions were clear and the site had a great view of the valley. We saw lots of kangaroos and even some deer and had the spot all to ourselves.

Was looking forward to our booking however we had car issues and unfortunately couldn't make our booking. Andy was super accommodation and even offered us another day to make up for the lost time, very accommodating host!
Will definitely rebook in the future.

Beautiful lush spot by the creek, very green. Lovely peaceful vibe, popular with kangaroos. Host Andy gave us a friendly wave while doing his farm work. Directions are clear, but if you reach the "Private Property" sign, you've gone too far (and the neighbour wasn't too happy about it!)

Just come home from a great 2 nights at Andy’s. Super easy drive from Sydney & felt like we were miles away. Had the place to ourselves and loved the view. Came home with loads of fresh fruit from the many road side stalls in the area.

Peaceful and well maintained. As mentioned in the description there is little shade available. Nesting ducks on the creek and ducking's swimming around. Private road on the way is a little rough, but nothing a standard AWD or 4WD can't handle and it's only 500m or so.

Such a Beautiful property, we set up on the hill and it offered great views into the valley.
On arrival we got bogged and Andy had a friend there in no time to help us out, Andy was great with communication and booking was super easy.
Love that it allows dogs off leash it’s what we mostly look for and one that offers not many other camping sites so you feel you Gk have your own space.
We will definitely be back.

Beautiful place for camping. We went here with 2 kids for 2 nights and it was wonderful. Andy is a fantastic host and even set up a work tent to provide some extra shelter from the rain and provided extra kindling for us. Definitely a special place and we will be back! We enjoyed the local wild life and watching the mist roll in and out of the valley in the mornings.

A wonderful place to camp - the hilltop spot is on a small hill and offers lovely views down the valley, into the morning sun. We saw Kangaroos and deer, and Andy was very welcoming. Would be a good base for hiking in the area.

The hilltop provides a beautiful view of the vally. All fields are well kept. Some kangaroos came out in the evening as we went for walks with our puppy. A great place to relax We met up with Andy who was very friendly and helpful.
The private lane best suited to higher clearance vehicles.

Loved our stay at Oxbow Bend, so tranquil and relaxing! It was our first trial camp with our new camper and was such a great place to visit. The local area is beautiful and lush and we loved exploring the communities. The solar lights on site were really helpful and a neat addition.

We had a really great long weekend here. It is a quiet little valley with beautiful views.
I also loved the dim lamps which lighted up the trees in the evening, highlighting the shape of the valley and hills.
Andy waved from the distance one day whilst working some land, nice to meet you and thanks! :)

What a wonderful hidden gem - really easy to get to, well maintained & we had the place to ourselves! Just me & Bowie the dog on this trip & we both loved it. Had a friendly wave from Andy (I think?) on Saturday afternoon other than that just birdsong, firelight & stars. We’ll be back for sure. Thanks Andy.

We stayed at Hilltops campsite (position number 3) over Easter long weekend 2024. A nice peaceful spot indeed.
We were surprised to find the grass had not been mowed before our arrival, this made things a little difficult especially with 2 dogs.
The flies at Hilltops campsite were absolutely out of control!!
We also encountered some caravan issues and had to call out a caravan technician to site. Technician was great and fixed our issue on Easter Saturday (5 hours and $640 later).
We kept Andy (host) informed of our situation however we never saw him, nor heard back from him after telling him we were going to try and find a technician to help us out. We can’t help but feel a slight lack of hospitality and care from the host.
Overall a nice time was had despite these few less than ideal issues we encountered.

An amazing place.
We had a very relaxing 2 day stay on the hill top site. There was a hill top site which would be great for a tent stay, Look for the 2 rocks
Our dogs loved being there and we will absolutely look to stay here again.
Awesome little cafe in Yarramalong just down the road and cheese factory at little creek cheese factory (honey cheese ) very good hard and soft cheese's, Just over the motor way.
