Do you fancy camping on your own exclusive section of the Hunter River with no roads or traffic noise to spoil the serenity? You wont have to share your spot with other campers and you have direct access to the river.
Rosebrook River Camp gives you your own private retreat, far away from the crowds but only a few minutes from the beating heart of the Hunter Valley.
Our property is situated in the locality of Rosebrook, a fertile area steeped in a rich dairying history. We're only 10 minutes from Maitland and 25 minutes from the Vineyards, but the privacy of the camp site makes it feel like you're miles from anywhere. You've got direct access to the Hunter River with a sandy beach, great swimming holes and it's perfect for a peaceful kayak up or down stream, dependent on river levels at the time of your stay. Bring your own kayak or use ours for a small fee.
For those a bit more adventurous, we take you via road to our drop off point and you paddle downstream (a leisurely 3 hours) until you arrive at the beach near your campsite. There are heaps of places to stop and have some lunch and a swim on the way.
The site is a drive through level, grassy area and easily accessed by 2WD vehicle if you're not towing. For caravans and camper trailers, a 4WD is recommended but it's pretty easy going.
Pets are welcome, but MUST stay within the site paddock if not on a lead. Our neighbours have stock and it's important we are always respectful toward them.
A garbage bin and recycle bin is provided but you will need your own toilet. There is a designated area for a fire (when conditions permit) and we can supply firewood if required for a small fee.
We’ve kept things simple and natural because that’s the way we like it. It’s a true bush camp — plenty of space, plenty of privacy, and no fuss. We just ask that everyone who stays treats the place with respect and leaves it as they found it, so the next campers can enjoy it too.
Whether you’re here for a quiet weekend, a bit of fishing, or just to switch off from the world for a while, this is the place to do it.
So come on out, take a deep breath, and slow down for a few days. You’ll soon see why we love it here and why it’s hard to leave once you’ve settled in.

Located in the heart of the Hunter Valley. Come stay with us at the Hunter River bush camp, located on our 20 acres! The campsites are located on our lower paddock - secluded and private. You will be likely not see another human in your time down there.
Theres plenty of space for large groups and vehicles. As to maintain the private and secluded nature of this site, we have limited the space to 1 site only so you'll have the place to yourself! The bottom camp is small and level - good for single groups of 1-2 vehicles, the upper camp is on a bit of a slope and may require chocks for vans and the like, but great for larger groups. Both camps are adjacent to each other so you can take one, or take the lot! all included in the same booking and price
The Hunter River is a short 5min walk down the stone steps, where you and your dogs can fish, swim or enjoy a cold can.
The property has good access - less than 10mins from Hunter Expressway. 1hr40mins from Wahroonga, 40mins from Jesmond

Dogs are allowed. The camp is a long way from the house, so off lead camping is OK on this site - ideally your dog will have a good recall as we are in the bush

Currently at Two Rivers Farm, we only welcome self-sufficient, off-grid campers with maximum of 6 vans and 20 people though this will change as we continue to build and evolve the property. For now, you can choose between three distinctly beautiful spots each with its own perks and shared access to all the farm’s magic.
Camp at Ringer’s Rest:
Once the dairy farmer’s quarters, this rustic shed is now a bush-pub style gathering place. Settle by the fire, share stories and music, and raise a glass to farm camaraderie while overlooking the paddocks. Camp nearby and make this communal space your cosy hub.
Camp at Riverside Hilltop:
For sweeping views, set up at the Hilltop overlooking the river. Launch your fishing rods, canoes, SUPs or even a jet ski (no jetty, so launch from the riverbank). Watch swans glide, birds greet the dawn, and deer pass by as the river becomes your playground.
Your Hosts:
Hayden and Ash live on-site and will guide you to your spot whether riverside or hilltop. They’ll give you the farm rundown, share local tips, and help you feel right at home.
The Area:
Two Rivers is tucked away in Coolongolook on the Mid North Coast, with waterways flowing right out to Forster—just a 10-minute boat ride away. Nearby Nabiac offers the friendly Nabiac Hotel for a hearty meal or drink, plus The Artisan Farmer, a farm-to-table café, bakery, deli, and butcher showcasing local produce.
What to Bring:
We welcome self-sufficient campers only, so pack your swag, tent, campervan, or RV. At present there are no amenities, but exciting plans are underway for a camp kitchen and more facilities as the farm grows.

We were greeted by Hayden who was very friendly and welcoming.
It was beautifully peaceful and extremely relaxing. Kim (my Wife) and I loved every minute of it. The views over the river are absolutely stunning. We even saw dolphins. We will definitely be back.

We loved camping right on the river. It was a great spot. The directions to get to the property were easy to follow. The hosts were super friendly and the property was very well maintained. Perfect spot to rewind, we were even lucky enough to see dolphins go up the river and back again. We will be back.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful campsite.
We spent the weekend relaxing right on the riverbank and it was exactly what we needed. The highlight was seeing multiple pods of dolphins cruising past — unreal experience you don’t get everywhere.
The spot is quiet, spacious and perfect for switching off.
Our dogs had the best time swimming and running along the river while we kicked back and enjoyed the surroundings.
If you’re after a calm, relaxing riverside escape away from crowds, this place is perfect.

Very Friendly host. Nice quiet spot with direct river frontage. Boat ramp and small jetty for those with boats or canoes. Does have a small sandy shore where you can swim. Lots of birdlife for peaceful ambiance. Plenty of grassed flat sites for self contained. There is a long drop toilet if required. Fires allowed if you have your own off ground firepit but also had a communal one set up as well. Had a relaxing long weekend.

Had a great stay at Mick’s place. Awesome setting with easy access to the river and all to yourself. My dogs loved it. The cows and their calves were entertaining to watch while having a cuppa! It was lovely to meet Mick. He is an excellent host, friendly and great communicator. Made us feel very welcome.

We had a fabulous stay at Domaine de Binet. Natalie was lovely and so accomodating. It was so beautiful with the green paddocks and outlook out to the mountains that we didn’t even need to leave. And even fitted in a wine tasting at the venue which was delicious. Highly recommend and great for a big group at the Chapel.

Great location great views awesome Cellar door (Paul is a pure gold) we had Electrical hook up and water what was lovely. There was so much space so plenty of room to spread out and not too close to neighbours. Defo head out to Binet and check out their many sites.
