This is a 45 acre farm located approx 50 km north of Coffs Harbour and 30km south of Grafton and is just 500 meters from the Pacific Highway at Halfway Creek.
The property is easily accessed by 2WD and is suitable for caravans and small to medium motor homes.
Take a right turn as soon as you drive through the cream concrete entrance gates and follow the road down to the large cream shed.
Here you will find manicured park-like gardens with a large dam - big enough to kayak on! There are numerous shady trees along the dam edges and you can also relax on the pontoon which overlooks the water.
**Please note that the dam area is not fenced and may not suit campers with children. Campers must ensure they supervise their children at all times.
This farm operates a cut flower business with over 10,000 rose bushes and has recently diversified with a large number of Australian wildflowers.
The business hours are typically 6am-4pm but once or twice a week the shed does need to be accessed earlier than this so please do not park on the gravel area in front of the double roller doors.
There are no amenities so campers need to be fully self-sufficient with own camping toilet and leave no trace.
Please note - unless otherwise approved by host , we allow only 1 caravan or camper or tent or motorhome per site.
Dog friendly.

Travellers rest was such a good find.
It was the perfect spot to stay on my way up the coast. Close to the freeway but not close enough to hear any traffic.
The host wasn even nice enough to come meet me out the front as I didn’t arrive till after
Dark.

We had a great time. The place was simple, but nicely in nature and very private. Is was very close to the road which made the place great for traveling on. The gate was a bit hard to find, but the owner responded quickly and helped us very friendly. I would stay here again when it would be one the route. I would not spend more then one night though.

The space is simply beautiful. The lake, the flowers, the prairie and all the kangaroos in the area. Plenty of space for children to run and play.
It is very conveniently next to the highway, and next to a petrol station (if you need a quick something, it is convenient). You can book last minute.
We will definitely go back.

We stayed for a week, a few days each side of New Years. Having a private site with lots of space is ideal for us. It means we can utilise the space and not have to worry about our dogs annoying anyone or having them couped up. We enjoyed the space, the camp fire and the trees. The proximity to Woolgoolga was great for day trips. Access is super easy and no hassles with having to be there at a certain time to meet the host for entry. Ben was friendly and welcoming and always responded to messages.

Perfect for an overnight stay. We were travelling north and needed somewhere to stay at 10pm. It was easy to locate just off the highway, roll in set up and leave in the morning, without any fuss. Ground is flat and nicely mowed. Bonus Ampol is on the corner to fill up before we headed off.

Great spot! Plenty of kindling for a fire. We had a super secluded spot with lots of trees for shade and so nice and airy. Super close to beaches, 4wd tracks and trails. Our dog also loved it. Would definitely come back again and for longer. Water was a total bonus. Thanks!

Convenient overnight location right off the freeway, lovely manicured lawns in a paddock next to lake. Kids enjoyed watching turtles hiding under lilypads. Would definitely return.
No need to unhitch, plenty of level space and tap to fill tank water.
