Just a half an hour drive from Wangaratta, 45 minutes from Benalla and an hour from Mansfield. Each site offers something a little different whether it is a spacious site for a large group or party or a smaller site for a family weekend away.
Our site is accessible for all vehicle types and is dog-friendly as long as pets are well-controlled. Campfires are allowed when restrictions aren’t in place, and firewood and kindling is available for purchase (see Extras).
Please keep in mind that the property is a working farm and there will be cars and machinery onsite nearby to some of the sites. Each powered site has only 1 power supply. Generators can be used but must be used with others in mind.

Our 25 acre Hipcamp area is located safely within our 300 acre property which enjoys approximately 5 kilometres of pristine and private Murray River frontage in the beautiful rural city of Albury. Willowbank is a fourth generation cattle farm and when you arrive at Willowbank you will feel like you are a million miles away from anywhere but you are only 2.8km from the centre of Albury and 2.9km to Wodonga from our sites .
We are less than 5 minutes away from the beautiful South Albury cafe and boutique shopping precinct; Ebden and Olive, Nannina's, Meraki, Platform 9, South Albury Take Away, Di Billet, Almar Organics, Sukor Wellness and Recovery, The Red Devil Brewery, Tucker on Townsend, Chic to Chic and more. We are also only 3.5km from Harris Farm Markets. Albury's public Dump Point at Albury Railway Station is less than 5 minutes away.
Each of our camping sites is well away from each of the others and there is plenty of room at each site for children to play. The three best sites for swimming are The Crossing, The River Bend and The Willows . We encourage the use of life jackets for children in the water at all time.
We have no toilet or shower facilities at any of our sites so you are required to bring your own toilet with you. All waste must be removed at the end of your visit. With notice, we can arrange portaloo hire should you need, please enquire with us prior to booking.
We have no access to drinking water and if you decide to use river water for drinking we do recommend that you boil the water.
Swimming, floating, paddling in the Murray River is a sublime pastime. Please be aware though, that the Murray River has a very fast and strong current. Looking to hire a canoe, we recommend you contact Dave/ Murray River Canoe Hire (0417 691 339) for a canoe to paddle around your campsite or to do a beautiful canoe trip on the Murray River from Doctor's Point to Noreuil Park. It will take a few hours and yes you will go past your camp site!

Choose either to relax with a book and a glass of wine and do nothing or go and explore the many attractions of the wonderful North East area including the beautiful King Valley, Beechworth, Bright, Yarrawonga and Rutherglen plus many other gorgeous areas that have Art Trails or Silo Art Trails, all of which are 30-60 minutes drive from the property.
Billabong Flats Farm sites are very spacious with each section private from other Campers with a fire pit provided at the site plus an abundance of open area for recreation for kids and dogs to run around.
The King River Site is an extra large riverside bush campsite that could accommodate a large group of Vans (10 at least). It has a designated fire pit and Campers will need to have own Toilet/Shower amenities and be and leave no trace behind when leaving us.

Please keep in mind that the property is a working farm and there will be cars and machinery onsite nearby to some of the sites. Each powered site has only 1 power supply. Generators can be used but must be used with others in mind.

We are less than 5 minutes away from the beautiful South Albury cafe and boutique shopping precinct; Ebden and Olive, Nannina's, Meraki, Platform 9, South Albury Take Away, Di Billet, Almar Organics, Sukor Wellness and Recovery, The Red Devil Brewery, Tucker on Townsend, Chic to Chic and more. We are also only 3.5km from Harris Farm Markets. Albury's public Dump Point at Albury Railway Station is less than 5 minutes away.
Each of our camping sites is well away from each of the others and there is plenty of room at each site for children to play. The three best sites for swimming are The Crossing, The River Bend and The Willows . We encourage the use of life jackets for children in the water at all time.
We have no toilet or shower facilities at any of our sites so you are required to bring your own toilet with you. All waste must be removed at the end of your visit. With notice, we can arrange portaloo hire should you need, please enquire with us prior to booking.
We have no access to drinking water and if you decide to use river water for drinking we do recommend that you boil the water.
Swimming, floating, paddling in the Murray River is a sublime pastime. Please be aware though, that the Murray River has a very fast and strong current. Looking to hire a canoe, we recommend you contact Dave/ Murray River Canoe Hire (0417 691 339) for a canoe to paddle around your campsite or to do a beautiful canoe trip on the Murray River from Doctor's Point to Noreuil Park. It will take a few hours and yes you will go past your camp site!

Perfect spot with the kids. Such a magical area for them to explore. They searched for fairies and made mud pies. Dog loved the freedom and everyone felt at home by the preset camp fire. Couldnt ask for anything else.

Absolutely love this Hipcamp! Loads of space to ourselves, my dogs love the freedom. Very peaceful and also have phone service so I can work at my campsite. There is water and for wood supplied on site and town is 5 mins away for supplies. Kerryn and John are wonderful hosts and this is now going to be a regular camp we come to. Do yourself a favour and come experience this camp!

We spent a few nights in our tent at Lyndon's property. It was peaceful, beautiful valley outlook, and appreciated the access to water, a toilet, and a dry place to put the kids while we packed up! Would visit again.

Terrific green camping space, with easy access to Wangaratta.
We had almost no wind, so there was a little white noise carried from the Hume, but otherwise a very peaceful site.
Would be great to return when the river is a little higher.

This was our second stay at Willowbank, this time at The Willows. Again we had a lovely relaxing time in a great location. The site was well maintained.

Very beautiful and secluded camp site. Has all the essentials - toilet, shower, sink and running water. Even made some new friends with the local sheep! Had a great experience and will definitely be back again

The grounds are beautifully maintained with ample distance between camps for privacy.
Buffalo River is perfect for swimming and fishing.

We stayed in the roadside camping area and loved it. As the name suggests it was near the road and you could hear some car noise with passing cars, this didn’t bother me too much as it was a fairly quiet country road and I’m used to living on a main road. The campsite was right by the river with lovely views and the sound of the water was lovely! There were basic camp facilities with 2 toilets and 1 shower for 2 camp areas that did the job with a little bit of a line in peak times.
There was some cars and general stuff around the property, if your looking for an untouched nature experience this might not be for you.
Overall we loved our stay on the property and enjoyed being close to the water. Daemon was great and there were even local people stopping by to sell local goods like honey and fruit, so bring some cash with you.

Had a great two nights at Michael’s property. He really has thought of everything and makes camping very relaxing and stress free.
Clean toilet and a warm shower. Wheelbarrow of fire wood, dropped off for when you arrive ($30). Optional flood lights which was perfect for when we needed to set up a tent in the dark. Bins are provided, a hammock to lie in, chairs by the river and the option to fish and catch a giant cod. Would highly recommend. Location is so convenient and lots to do in and around Mytleford.
