Weekend Trip to Hunter Valley Hill Top Lovedale

I loved camping here with my family. My partner & I camp a lot, it was the first time taking the family, they enjoyed it so much. We had so much privacy, we had a beautiful quiet peaceful time with waking up to the cows every morning, the river, horses it was beautiful. Bathroom was clean, showers were big and great. Overall, such a beautiful long weekend. Thanks to the host helping us as well, and waiting up for us to arrive late the Friday night.

Weekend Trip to Beelisco Honey Hipcamp

Wow what a spot. Set down by the creek, creek wasn’t running but the wildlife and serenity definitely made up for that. The owners were very friendly, great to meet and chat with. A very private, well hidden secluded spot with no Tv, no phone reception (found out later if you have Telstra you will) a great place for getting back to nature, living off grid, with a quirky drop loo and fun rope bridge and a raring fire. Was so cold and that’s exactly what we were hoping for. Thanks so much for the hospitality Beelisco Family, dropping down the fire wood and some absolutely delicious honey Can’t wait to come back!!

We truly enjoyed our 4 days at this campsite, peace and quiet with plenty of room to spread our tents RVs with 12 of us! Julie is a friendly, informative host who was there to greet us upon arrival. Julie’s property is well maintained and a terrific place to escape the city noise. Would stay again and recommend to any campers who love the outdoors.

2 nights at Beelisco Honey Hipcamp

Lovely large green mowed level site. Quiet, peaceful hip camp. Our host M'Liss had our firewood and honey(paid extra for) waiting for us when we arrived. We patted the horses in the nearby paddock and went bush walking across the road. Communication and information from our host was brilliant. Would not hesitate to recommend this hip camp.

Weekend Trip to Hunter River Bush Camp

A private bush campsite with river access but only a 5min drive/ 40min walk into town. Recent heavy rainfall meant the river was higher than normal, making access to the water challenging but we still had a great time. Our dogs could run amok without having to worry about disturbing other people. Christian was really welcoming and a great communicator. Bring mosquito coils and repellent as even in the cold weather the mozzies were around.

Christians camp is a a great spot The views and surrounds are amazing. The kids and dogs loved it. My only recommendation would be to have some very decent chocks for caravans as site is on a slope so big chocks are needed. Would love to visit again.

Hosts are very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Paddock camp is ideal for a big rig and an added perk is the fire pit, lounge chairs and undercover area. Loved the chance to pat the horses in a paddock close by. Very pretty place in a quiet location.

We had a great time camping at Chapman valley! The communication was excellent and directions were easy to understand and follow. The camp area was well maintained and we had visits from the cows! We will definitely be booking again! ☺️

1 night at The Old Pub House Wollombi Camping

Great spot for a 1 night stop over with moveable fire pits, really nice spot right by the river and you can walk 3 mins to the pub from the camp site. Very clean public toilets also very close (50m), could not find a water tap but the pub would probably have one. Personally I think if you had more than 4 vans or 4 car campers it would lose its nice personal space feeling. Micheal (owner) very accomodating and friendly. Bit exy at $30 pppn, but close proximity to lovely village (100m), pub and toilets, it gets my vote for a nice stopover. We will return.

2 nights at Doorstep to the Vineyards No 1

Such a great spot! We had the place all to ourselves, and despite the rain, we had a lovely time! The kangaroos are everywhere and good fun to watch. We were close enough to vineyards and the main Hunter Valley precinct, so very glad we stayed here and at such a great price! Thank you!

Beautiful setting next to the dam. So peaceful here, plenty of room. We were the only ones there. Loved seeing the horses and the kangaroos. On a wet day, definitely need a 4WD. Nice and close to Singleton and the New England Highway.

Surrounded by the foothills of the Hunter Valley Brokenback ranges, and bordered by the banks of Wollombi Brook, this is a picturesque camping site.We've proudly been involved with this parcel of land that sits firmly in Wonnarua Country for the last 15 years, nurturing its vineyard to support a fully functioning cellar door. When we came to own the land the vast paddock was already in place, as was Dragonfly Dam, and a red tin shed that remotely resembles the 'red barn' cellar door we have today. The earliest vine plantings here were in the mid 80's and then in the late 90's Andrew Margan planted the body of the vineyard, since that time we have grafted and planted in alternative grape varieties and now produce a signature range of elegant wines that truly represent the unique terrior that is Greenway Wines. The surrounding foothills contain many caves giving them character, there is still much debate among those who live around us fondly called the folk from 'beyond the bends (of Broke) as to whether we look directly at either 'Bear Rock' or 'Wombat Mountain', and we look forward to your thoughts on this debate.

Middle Creek Camp

The property is located in Westbrook just 15km out of Singleton. We have large grassy sites available with a nearby creek, the camp sites are located across the creek opposite the house and there is plenty of shade near the creek. We are not too far from Lake St Clair, a popular waterway for fishing, kayaking, sailing and waterskiing. We are also fairly close to a number of different wineries in the Singleton region that offer great food and wine. We are a one hour drive from the Mount Royal National Park which has a number of stunning hikes available and views out over Lake St Clair. Campfires are permitted in the fire pit provided, BYO firewood or firewood can be purchased from us (please message if purchasing firewood so we can have it ready for you). Pets allowed but must be leashed due to livestock on the property. We have plenty of wildlife from native birds, fish, eels, turtles, frogs and lizards that live on our creek. We also have cattle, friendly water buffalo and horses on the property that may come for a sticky beak and a pat while you are camping. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure.

Beelisco Honey Hipcamp camping spot is set on 300acres located in the beautiful valley of Baerami Creek and surrounded by the amazing mountain views of Wollemi National Park. We are located just off the Bylong Valley Way, so a great spot to spend a night or two if travelling through. There are some amazing mountain views and a very tranquil peaceful camping spot. Tar sealed road all the way to the front gate and then only 150metres in on farm to your campsite on a very well-maintained road suitable for ALL vehicles. We have wide gate access to suit all vehicles/trailers of any size to go in and out and all sites are grassy and level. Located in the heart of the Hunter Valley. Come stay with us at the Hunter River bush camp, located on our 20 acres! The campsites are located on our lower paddock - secluded and private. You will be likely not see another human in your time down there. Theres plenty of space for large groups and vehicles. As to maintain the private and secluded nature of this site, we have limited the space to 1 site only so you'll have the place to yourself! The bottom camp is small and level - good for single groups of 1-2 vehicles, the upper camp is on a bit of a slope and may require chocks for vans and the like, but great for larger groups. Both camps are adjacent to each other so you can take one, or take the lot! all included in the same booking and price The Hunter River is a short 5min walk down the stone steps, where you and your dogs can fish, swim or enjoy a cold can. The property has good access - less than 10mins from Hunter Expressway. 1hr40mins from Wahroonga, 40mins from Jesmond Full phone coverage on all parts of the property Fires are permitted - firewood available for purchase during booking. Dogs are allowed. The camp is a long way from the house, so off lead camping is OK on this site - ideally your dog will have a good recall as we are in the bush Note that there are no toilets provide, this is a bush camp.

We are Based in a Quiet Area in Howes Valley NSW TJ's has over 1000 acres of mixed beautifully grassed areas, surrounding Aussie bush, and a sand based seasonal river (the river is not always flowing fully). Where you can relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Australia Bush, taking in the stunning views, listening to the wildlife, star gazing, go bush walking, splash in our crystal clear seasonal river or bring out your adventure side and go 4wding. Pets are definitely welcome, but please be sensible and do not bring them if they are aggressive. Please pick up after him/her (there is nothing worse than stepping in a dog dropping). Horses also welcome - we have a fenced cattle yard. Hot Showers are available. There are toilets placed around the property. We have communal sites plus separated private sites for those that would like some privacy. (If you would like a private site, please message us once you have booked). Have a Fenced off Kids Playground. Buggys (allowed any weekend at an extra fee). Quads and dirt bikes also allowed PLEASE NOTE; They are an extra fee and only allowed on specific weekends. As we like to keep our property quiet for everyone to relax from the hassle and bustle of everyday life. Please see our website or Facebook page for dates. Buggy Tours and kids quad rides are available (extra costs). We would like to advise that entry to our beautiful property is a dirt road and does have mounds. The road has just been upgraded and although has dirt mounds is quite easy. We suggest to drive over them on an angle and take your time. We have lots of people come in with trailers and campers and have not had a problem. But do not recommend it if you have a lowered car. Any concerns, please contact us.
