We are Based in a Quiet Area in Howes Valley NSW TJ's has over 1000 acres of mixed beautifully grassed areas, surrounding Aussie bush, and a sand based seasonal river (the river is not always flowing fully). Pets are definitely welcome, but please be sensible and do not bring them if they are aggressive. Please pick up after him/her (there is nothing worse than stepping in a dog dropping). Horses also welcome - we have a fenced cattle yard. Hot Showers are available. There are toilets placed around the property. We have communal sites plus separated private sites for those that would like some privacy. (If you would like a private site, please message us once you have booked). Have a Fenced off Kids Playground. Buggys (allowed any weekend at an extra fee). Quads and dirt bikes also allowed PLEASE NOTE; They are an extra fee and only allowed on specific weekends. As we like to keep our property quiet for everyone to relax from the hassle and bustle of everyday life. Please see our website or Facebook page for dates. Buggy Tours and kids quad rides are available (extra costs). We would like to advise that entry to our beautiful property is a dirt road and does have mounds. The road has just been upgraded and although has dirt mounds is quite easy. We suggest to drive over them on an angle and take your time. You wont have to share your spot with other campers and you have direct access to the river. Rosebrook River Camp gives you your own private retreat, far away from the crowds but only a few minutes from the beating heart of the Hunter Valley. Our property is situated in the locality of Rosebrook, a fertile area steeped in a rich dairying history. We're only 10 minutes from Maitland and 25 minutes from the Vineyards, but the privacy of the camp site makes it feel like you're miles from anywhere. You've got direct access to the Hunter River with a sandy beach, great swimming holes and it's perfect for a peaceful kayak up or down stream, dependent on river levels at the time of your stay. Bring your own kayak or use ours for a small fee. For those a bit more adventurous, we take you via road to our drop off point and you paddle downstream (a leisurely 3 hours) until you arrive at the beach near your campsite. There are heaps of places to stop and have some lunch and a swim on the way. The site is a drive through level, grassy area and easily accessed by 2WD vehicle if you're not towing. For caravans and camper trailers, a 4WD is recommended but it's pretty easy going. Pets are welcome, but MUST stay within the site paddock if not on a lead. Our neighbours have stock and it's important we are always respectful toward them. A garbage bin and recycle bin is provided but you will need your own toilet. There is a designated area for a fire (when conditions permit) and we can supply firewood if required for a small fee. We’ve kept things simple and natural because that’s the way we like it. It’s a true bush camp — plenty of space, plenty of privacy, and no fuss. We just ask that everyone who stays treats the place with respect and leaves it as they found it, so the next campers can enjoy it too. Whether you’re here for a quiet weekend, a bit of fishing, or just to switch off from the world for a while, this is the place to do it. Walk down to the edge of this campsite and listen to the creek trickle past, go bushwalking, listen to the birds and watch the Kangaroos. You wont have to share your spot with other campers and you have direct access to the river. Rosebrook River Camp gives you your own private retreat, far away from the crowds but only a few minutes from the beating heart of the Hunter Valley. Our property is situated in the locality of Rosebrook, a fertile area steeped in a rich dairying history. We're only 10 minutes from Maitland and 25 minutes from the Vineyards, but the privacy of the camp site makes it feel like you're miles from anywhere. You've got direct access to the Hunter River with a sandy beach, great swimming holes and it's perfect for a peaceful kayak up or down stream, dependent on river levels at the time of your stay. Bring your own kayak or use ours for a small fee. For those a bit more adventurous, we take you via road to our drop off point and you paddle downstream (a leisurely 3 hours) until you arrive at the beach near your campsite. There are heaps of places to stop and have some lunch and a swim on the way. The site is a drive through level, grassy area and easily accessed by 2WD vehicle if you're not towing. For caravans and camper trailers, a 4WD is recommended but it's pretty easy going. Pets are welcome, but MUST stay within the site paddock if not on a lead. Our neighbours have stock and it's important we are always respectful toward them. A garbage bin and recycle bin is provided but you will need your own toilet. There is a designated area for a fire (when conditions permit) and we can supply firewood if required for a small fee. We’ve kept things simple and natural because that’s the way we like it. It’s a true bush camp — plenty of space, plenty of privacy, and no fuss. We just ask that everyone who stays treats the place with respect and leaves it as they found it, so the next campers can enjoy it too. Whether you’re here for a quiet weekend, a bit of fishing, or just to switch off from the world for a while, this is the place to do it. Welcome to our easy-access, flat campsite with stunning scenic views. Experience magical sunsets with Castle Rock aglow on the horizon. Whether you're a weary traveler in need of a pit stop en route or looking for a tranquil escape, our location just off a quiet road is ideal. Situated at the heart of Sandy Hollow, Denman, Muswellbrook, and Aberdeen, all just a short 15 to 20-minute drive away, this camp area is the perfect base for exploring the region. Enjoy the convenience of a drive-through flat camp area measuring 16m x 45m with an all-weather surface. The area is bordered by trees, offering protection on the sides, whilst allowing for clear skies above to recharge your solar batteries. We do have separate male and female toilets for your convenience. Please note, however, they are up a set of stairs so are not wheelchair friendly. There is a barbeque available to use. Plus, feel free to cozy up around a contained fire, however, you MUST adhere to current NSW Fire Brigade restrictions/conditions. Whether you're looking for a brief overnight stay or a short retreat, our campsite is a quiet oasis along your journey.

Imago Forest is a beautiful bush block and biodynamic orchard near Mt Royal National Park. There are spectacular views over the valley and lake. Just 3hrs from Sydney. Some things to do on the property: * Sit back and take in the incredible views * Roast marshmallows around a campfire * Walk in gorgeous tall forests with some century old trees * Swim in the dam * Climb in the tree next to the cottage * Tour of the permaculture mandala garden (when I'm around) About camping here: * 4WD and AWD access - all year around. * 2WD access - Oct-May in dry weather. (The Big Shed site is 2WD accessible all year) * Families are welcome * Well-behaved dogs are welcome * There is mobile phone reception at some of the sites. Sometimes it isn't fantastic, at other times you can stream Netflix. Some of the things you can do nearby: * Do the majestic Mt Royal walk * Fish or boat on nearby Lake St Clair * Stop in at some of the Hunter Valley wineries on your way * Search online for "Carrowbrook forecast" to get the closest weather forecast

Camping here was beautiful. The owners are clearly very proud of their land and have kept the campsites secluded and private. They haven't tried to rort campers and turn it into a money-making scheme, which made camping here even more special. We were completely isolated, and the self made composting toilets were beautifully clean. We are already planning another trip back here. I hope it remains as quiet and secluded, as it was genuinely a great site

Absolutely amazing location. Perfect for the dogs. The toilet was so clean. The site was all ours and so peaceful. Grab some eggs. They are fantastic and will be delivered by Ben and M'liss who are just beautiful people. We will be back for sure. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

5 nights at Rosebrook River Camp
Had an an amazing time camping at Rose Brook river camp. Would highly recommend this site for anyone wanting a bush get away but with the option of popping to town if needed as Maitland was only a 20 minute drive. The site was easy to get to. Mick (our host) was more than accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for him. The site was freshly mowed and well maintained. The river was right near by and a welcome relief from the weather. The kids loved seeing all the wild life around, especially the pelicans that would fly by every night and the cows greeting us in the morning.

A gorgeous place, campsites well looked after and lovely to stay at. John was super friendly and the cows were beautiful when they wandered over to say hello. Definitely recommend staying here; super pretty and relaxing, and we enjoyed our time there heaps.

This was my second time staying at Glenmoore. What a beautiful place. Sitting by the river, shaded by trees, listening to the bush and not seeing another camper because of the layout of the 3 camp sites. Ive already started planning my next trip. John is brilliant, comes and gives a weather report each morning of what to expect during the day and night so adjutments can be made to your camp site if needed. Lovely man.

Unfortunately due to fires in the area we were unable to camp, we were really looking forward to the stay. The host had impeccable communication, messaging us the day prior to our stay letting us know about the fires near buy and offered a refund. We initially chose to stay away, then changed our mind the day of our stay and we were still giving a refund. Very kind when really they didn't have too.

Absolutely top camp area river bit low from no rain but still enough deeper gutters to lay in and enjoy the clear water and water temp perfect , the trains were not a bother the drivers are cool in tooting back to you. Plenty of river to walk up or down to explore. Definitely fantastic time

Tarahleigh is a beautiful place to stop and visit the Hunter Valley Vineyards. The campsites are well spaced out and Janette is building a lovely water area which is so peaceful to sit by. We appreciated Janette’s fast response to all our questions. Meeting us on arrival we were given a map of the area and she pointed out lots of great points of interest. We recommend.
