We are Based in a Quiet Area in Howes Valley NSW TJ's has over 1000 acres of mixed beautifully grassed areas, surrounding Aussie bush, and a sand based seasonal river (the river is not always flowing fully). Pets are definitely welcome, but please be sensible and do not bring them if they are aggressive. Please pick up after him/her (there is nothing worse than stepping in a dog dropping). Horses also welcome - we have a fenced cattle yard. Hot Showers are available. There are toilets placed around the property. We have communal sites plus separated private sites for those that would like some privacy. (If you would like a private site, please message us once you have booked). Have a Fenced off Kids Playground. Buggys (allowed any weekend at an extra fee). Quads and dirt bikes also allowed PLEASE NOTE; They are an extra fee and only allowed on specific weekends. As we like to keep our property quiet for everyone to relax from the hassle and bustle of everyday life. Please see our website or Facebook page for dates. Buggy Tours and kids quad rides are available (extra costs). We would like to advise that entry to our beautiful property is a dirt road and does have mounds. The road has just been upgraded and although has dirt mounds is quite easy. We suggest to drive over them on an angle and take your time. We have lots of people come in with trailers and campers and have not had a problem. But do not recommend it if you have a lowered car. Any concerns, please contact us.

The bathroom boasts a comfortable sized shower, free standing clawfoot bath (found on the property and restored by the owner) and a flushing toilet - enjoy the heated flooring on the cooler winter nights! The Woolshed is approximately 200 meters away from the main house, you may see the owners, their children and dog walking around or driving past from a distance, however The Woolshed area will be solely yours during your stay. The Woolshed itself has a lovely veranda with table and chairs, that provides a picturesque spot to sit and admire the view up the paddock. The Woolshed is rustic and open to the elements, so be mindful that it can be cold in winter and warm in summer. The shed has 4 extra large fans and for the cooler months an internal woodfire (firewood can be purchased under 'Extras'). All 3 beds have electric blankets, the 4th bed, a trundle does not so please pack extra blankets. Don't feel like making beds on holidays, let us do it for you (linen hire available under 'Extras'). Have a Fenced off Kids Playground. Buggys (allowed any weekend at an extra fee). Quads and dirt bikes also allowed PLEASE NOTE; They are an extra fee and only allowed on specific weekends. Buggy Tours and kids quad rides are available (extra costs). We would like to advise that entry to our beautiful property is a dirt road and does have mounds. The Woolshed is approximately 200 meters away from the main house, you may see the owners, their children and dog walking around or driving past from a distance, however The Woolshed area will be solely yours during your stay. The Woolshed itself has a lovely veranda with table and chairs, that provides a picturesque spot to sit and admire the view up the paddock. The Woolshed is rustic and open to the elements, so be mindful that it can be cold in winter and warm in summer. The shed has 4 extra large fans and for the cooler months an internal woodfire (firewood can be purchased under 'Extras'). Staff were lovely and accommodating! Various areas to explore as well as different swimming areas, water was freezing which was amazing on a hot day! We were able to spread out away from other campers which was good! Definitely recommend taking a photo of the map in the office as we definitely got lost 😅, beautiful place a lot to do especially for kids! But owners were lovely and helped us out so much! Can’t thank them enough ! Will definitely be coming back with others!

We had a very good experience camping here. We camped near to the river so easy access to the river. River was shallow and we thoroughly enjoyed. Only downside was, the toilet was bit far and hassle to go to the toilet. But over all, it was good stay.

Very Tidy, lots of room we had a group of 12 people, 8 cars very friendly caravan park, close to the river, clean facilities but very old school. People live onsite in van homes but are all very friendly. Would recommend this spot to anyone who wants to chill out and have a relaxing stay away from civilisation, reception is a 10 min drive away for Telstra customers…

We had an awesome time camping at Wattle Valley Farm. 3 dads and 4 boys and endless fun and laughs - fishing, swimming, hitting golf balls round the farm, kicking the footy, there are so many things to do. My son just asked me if we could go back next weekend!

Weekend Trip to Wattle Valley Farm
Spent and couple of nights here with a friend and enjoyed our stay. Big, open areas to camp with a decent amount of space in between camp sites. The are some sites up from the river and some in the forest so a nice variation. Showers and toilet blocks were nice with hot water and were kept clean. Wood for the fire is available but you can also forage for some dead branches. Flies were annoying but that’s Spring / Summer camping wherever you go tbh. Even keeping the site clean doesn’t stop them so just accept that you’re going to get a few if you’re going camping in these months. The noise levels from the wedding venue are quite loud so not the most peaceful place to camp but it didn’t really bother us as we had music on too or just listened to theirs tbh. Depends what you want. During the day though it’s quiet with plenty of song bird to listen to. Lots of different fishing spots to explore also. Caught one bass and saw a few carp. There’s an hour hike you can do and also some smaller walks. Definitely go down to the river as it’s peaceful and has some nice sandy areas to chill in. Phone signal is non existent here, not even a satellite went over to get a message through the whole weekend. Hosts were lovely and welcoming and explained everything in detail. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Depends what you want from your trip but if you’re ok with the above, it’s a nice clean spot to enjoy some outdoors.

Our stay in the malee cabin was perfect! Matt and Jenna are super friendly and helpful. The land was beautiful and we loved that we could explore some bush tracks on the property. The amenities were nice and clean and they even have a family friendly shower room which was really helpful! We will definitely be back.

Matt & Jenna were so friendly and accommodating, they were there to meet me and show me around their lovely farm. The farm is a great place to camp, plenty of space and beautiful fields with a few short walks around. A short cycle or drive from Wollombi. I would definitely visit again.

I camped here for a night instead of in a Barrington Tops NP campground (as I normally would) as they offered showering and laundry facilities which I was in need of before another day of hiking. Amenities were clean and tidy, staff were friendly and helpful and there was a variety of unpowered camp sites to choose from. Walking down by the river and feeding the kangaroos and king parrots was a highlight. I loved my stay here and would definitely stay again.

Such a great spot for a weekend camp. The facilities are so clean and just what you need. The farm is beautiful with some great tent spots in between the trees. We saw a wombat in the wild for the first time! Highly recommend.

Beautiful area to visit and a wide variety of camp sites available from grass paddocks to more hidden bushier areas. There was probably 8-10 camping groups when we visited and we all had plenty of space. The facilities were great and they even have a family shower room which was convenient for wrangling a small child at shower time. Wood can be purchased on site too. The bird life was fantastic and there is a river wrapping the property. Hosts were very friendly. We will come back for a stay.
