We loved camping at Quorragami. Large grassy level campsite with potable water and lovely clean flushing bush toilets. We had a beautiful campfire each night and our fur baby loved his walks. Damien and Charley made us welcome and left us to enjoy their beautiful property. We loved the peace and quiet having the main camping area to ourselves. I am sure this place will become popular very quickly. Highly recommend

Weekend Trip to Quorragami

This is a great property, with a lovely outlook over the rural area. There is a bathroom with flushing toilets and a tap for hand washing. A few other taps exist around the sites for washing etc (noting is not drinkable - it is dam water etc). Getting there, make sure to follow the Google maps instructions which take you in via Barraba Rd, as some other nav apps will try to send you down Swan Lane (which is not the right way, and will lead you into a dead end about 10km away). Also worth nothing that the last few kms (and inside the property) is unsealed road, with a couple shallow water crossings. But once at the location, you will be happy. Nice place, dog friendly, firepit friendly, nice and quiet. Would definitely go again.

My wife, daughter, and I spent a weekend camping on Damien’s property and had a truly relaxing experience. The location is incredibly quiet and peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The toilet and shower facilities are excellent, but the highlight for us was definitely the large hot tub overlooking the valley. It's heated by a wood fire in a nearby fire pit and takes a couple of hours to warm up, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. We spent hours soaking in the tub while enjoying some local wines - pure bliss. The property has only recently opened to guests, and Damien and his family have done a fantastic job creating a luxury camping experience.

We spent the weekend at Darren’s property and had an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. Darren helped us get settled in and answered all our questions. Over the next few days, he showed us around the property and we had the chance to interact with the animals, which was a highlight. The campsite had a private bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen — everything was extremely clean and well-organised. Darren is very friendly and made us feel right at home. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful. We highly recommend this place — 10 out of 10! We’ll definitely be back!

Come nighttime during September - February it is the mating season for koalas, the valley being a known corridor for koloas you quite often hear them searching for their partner. being such an accessible site and not off the beaten track, some days you may notice more vehicles driving past. Just a short drive to the local country pub, even a few local wineries. Take the old convict road all the way down to the country pub at st Albans, which is very peaceful for adults but theres also a creek for the kids to play in and newly upgraded playground. Off the convict road there are a few 4wd tracks. Just back from the property you have direct access into the Watagan Mountains, which offers great 4wd tracks, lots of hiking trails, motorbike tracks and even a few waterfalls.

We are a farm forestry property located in the middle of the north shore of Port Stephens. Two hours north of Hornsby. 1 hour north of Newcastle. 2 mins to Pindimar beach, 9 minutes to Coles and bottle shop, 11 minutes to surf beach, 12 minutes to Jimmy's Beach. Pets are welcome, but please pick up after them. Free firewood - Help yourself to what you need. The logs will need to be split as required. An axe and a wheelbarrow are supplied and are stored, in the firewood storage shed. - Every site has a fire pit. Hot showers and clean, decent toilets. Good mobile signal for Telstra and Optus networks. Two Communal Fridges and a cold communal spa. There is lots of space for campers so you will have privacy whilst you enjoy your camping adventure. We are located on a dead end road, so very rare to have any traffic after 8pm. Good fishing. Pretty much everywhere you can wet a line. Prawns are best bait. If your dog is on the government list of restricted breeds or on the dangerous dog list please leave at home We have a gentle, well trained old German Shepherd who adores kids but after being bitten by another dog, now prefers to stay inside the house and not visit the camp sites. PLEASE NOTE: 1) We ONLY ALLOW ONE camper trailer or ONE caravan per site. No limit on number of tents. 2) IF You Have more than 3 vehicles/site please contact host before booking. 3) Depending on the weather on the day, we may have to limit the number of vehicles that can be parked adjacent to your campsite. 4) NO late night check in . If you are a group larger than two people the check in time is between midday and sunset. Do not arrive after sunset. The reason being if you are a large group turning up late, you will ruin the camping experience of other campers who got there earlier to watch the sunset and just chill. Nestled under the Watagan mountains escarpment in the Hunter valley, the property has some amazing views in all directions, but still remains secluded and hidden from view. The property has been selectively cleared to maintain a balance of open land and untouched bushland which has a boundary to the Watagans National Park. The animal life is very diverse as many species transition from the Watagans into the property and many live on site full time. These include flocks of amazing bird species such as Gang gang and Black Cockatoos, resident Wedge tailed eagles, Kookaburras, finches, honey eaters, Coucals, Lyrebirds and more. Wallabies of various types are common, and Sugar gliders can be seen on the flowering Eucalypts. The camping areas for RV's sit on a large elevated flat area that border a large gorge with broken views towards the Hunter Valley vineyards. The Gorge (or Canyon) is rimmed by caves and has rainforest type trees in the bottom. The caves can be explored and the rainforest can be walked if you are fit! The tent and camper trailer areas are terraced into an area of slight slope with a number of sites to chose from. Non potable water taps are available at each caravan site and at intervals in the camping area. This water is clear fresh dam or bore water and can be used for showers, washing up etc. Two flush toilets are available for use by both RV's and campers. There is a central fire pit. We have a private site which has open views over the Hunter Valley to the Vineyards and beyond to the Barrington tops. This site has a cliff edge pool that comfortably fits up to 4 people for a dip. This area has a large fire pit that can be used to heat the pool in winter. This site has its own flushing toilet and Shower. This site is best suited to a caravan as it is terraced, though it would be possible to setup tents or a camper van in this location also. This can also be booked as a group site. 16minutes to Cessnock, 25minutes to the M1, 2.25 hours to Sydney central and 25 minutes to Pokolbin. The location is generally very peaceful with all sorts of wildlife. There is plenty of ground sticks for fire wood and bulk timber for purchase. There are 2 dams that can be fished on request (catch and release cod and bass)

La Cascina is a great spot to stop overnight on a road trip or to get away for the weekend to relax. We have no toilets so please bring your own. The access to the property is a steep sealed driveway. Site 1 is an open site with plenty of shade. The area is flat. More suited to larger camping setups. This site is less private. There is vision of the neighbouring property and an overflow campsite 50 meters away. Site 2 is a more uneven surface area which is better for smaller vans and tents. Redhead Beach is the closest dog beach 10 minutes by car. Croudace Bay is a dog park on the lake which is 5 minutes by car. This is a family owned acreage that brings the best parts of environmental living with the benefits of being close to the coast and a city. A very long time ago it was the site of a quarry. The nature has returned and we are left with a beautiful forested acreage.
