We are Based in a Quiet Area in Howes Valley NSW TJ's has over 1000 acres of mixed beautifully grassed areas, surrounding Aussie bush, and a sand based seasonal river (the river is not always flowing fully). Where you can relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Australia Bush, taking in the stunning views, listening to the wildlife, star gazing, go bush walking, splash in our crystal clear seasonal river or bring out your adventure side and go 4wding. Pets are definitely welcome, but please be sensible and do not bring them if they are aggressive. Please pick up after him/her (there is nothing worse than stepping in a dog dropping). Horses also welcome - we have a fenced cattle yard. Hot Showers are available. There are toilets placed around the property. We have communal sites plus separated private sites for those that would like some privacy. (If you would like a private site, please message us once you have booked). Have a Fenced off Kids Playground. Buggys (allowed any weekend at an extra fee). Quads and dirt bikes also allowed PLEASE NOTE; They are an extra fee and only allowed on specific weekends. As we like to keep our property quiet for everyone to relax from the hassle and bustle of everyday life. Please see our website or Facebook page for dates. Buggy Tours and kids quad rides are available (extra costs). We would like to advise that entry to our beautiful property is a dirt road and does have mounds. The road has just been upgraded and although has dirt mounds is quite easy. We suggest to drive over them on an angle and take your time. We have lots of people come in with trailers and campers and have not had a problem. But do not recommend it if you have a lowered car. Any concerns, please contact us.

The Communal camping area is within walking distance of our amenities block, which offers flushing porcelain toilets and a hot shower. Bush campsites are fully self-sufficient, BYO (bring your own) water and toileting system. All campers are required to take their rubbish home with them as there are no bins on site. Sites available for all vehicle types, from buses and large caravans to fully kitted out off-road vehicles. We offer a self check-in service with full maps and directions, which means you can arrive anytime you like. Embrace the rustic essence of camping without the frills Situated on 29 acres of untouched bushland with excellent mobile coverage, only a 10minute drive from Tea Gardens beaches, our newly established outback retreat is a perfect farm-stay for campers to escape the crowds and reconnect with nature. We welcome self-sufficient campers who have their own toilet/shower facilities. All campers must provide portable toilets used by all their guests and leave no trace. As we are new to Hip camp we still do not offer water or electricity. We will be upgrading with time as nothing happens in a hurry here which you will feel :) Pets are more than welcome, however they must be well behaved and controlled. We do have a very friendly farm dog named Annie who everyone falls in love with (refer reviews fro reference and pics) Campfires are depending on fire restrictions. Access to the property is easy via a grated dirt road 500m off the highway which is very handy for a quick stop or stay as long as you want. Please NOTE! Adress in Google maps is accurate. For some strange reason Apple maps is not as accurate (sorry folks, I have reported it to Apple so watch this space) Please follow instructions in pics to access either Maestros or Pops paddock. ALSO: If it has been raining or is forecast to rain, the ground can get quite wet underfoot so please check conditions and plan accordingly with appropriate recovery gear. We had a great time at TJs ont he October long weekend. Tanya and Jamie were great hosts. Fabulously kept grounds and toilets & showers were cleaner than we had anticipated! We had lots of space with minimal neighbours which was fabulous for the kids. Dirt roads in to the camp were a bit rougher than expected but all our happy campers made it in no fuss - even not being 4wds. Pizzas being delivered was an awesome additions and the kids loved the buggy rides too! Quiet place with amazing animal life. River was amazing too! Great fun over all and we will definitely be back.

I loved that the communal campsite is not crowded. You can camp anywhere. The campground is well maintained. Staffs are very friendly and accommodating. The check in process is very smooth, professional, and organised. They are very responsive to emails and other inquiries via hipcamp or direct email. This gave us so much peace of mind especially leading up to the day of the camp. They email so many important information about the camp rules, check in process, and the directions to the camp site. This will definitely be one of our favourite campsites. It’s not just a campground, it’s home away from home.

We spent 3 days and 2 nights at this private bush camp, and when they said private, they truly meant it. It was just us and the cows, no other campers in sight. You’re completely surrounded by nature. Peaceful, quiet, and beautifully secluded. Our pups get a bit anxious around strangers, so having the whole place to ourselves was such a huge plus. Each morning we woke up to the sounds of nature, and each night ended with a campfire under a sky full of stars. The site is clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. If you’re looking to truly disconnect and unwind, this is the perfect spot. We really hope it stays as private and serene as it is now.

We loved camping at Chapman Valley. We had a great little spot. The location, off grid, serenity was all our group needed for a weekend away. Fantastic customer service from all the folks at the office. Such kind and approachable staff. Loved being close to nature and enjoyed the 4wd off road exploration to see the amazing natural beauty of the land. Horses were beautiful, great for kids and families and friends to share and make memories.

Beautiful well kept paddocks with lots of space, flat areas. Friendly Cows next door. A big thanks to Barry for helping me change my caravan tyre that I blew on the way in - missed the rock ;) but found a replacement nearby & thoroughly enjoyed my stay .
