We have recently built a large shared communcal space for campers to enjoy and there are also clean, odourless composting toilets and hot showers available for use on site. There is lots of space to walk and explore with tracks leading up into the heart of the National Park. Nearby are many gorgeous rivers, beaches and other national parks to explore. We are convieniently located only 10 minutes from Macksville for shopping and cafes and only 15 minutes from Scotts Head, a great beach for families and surfers.

Never Never Park is a Sub-Tropical Rainforest property which borders the ancient Gondwana World Heritage National Park on 2 sides including along Coopernook creek. Located half an hours drive Northeast of Dorrigo and 1 hour West of Coffs Harbour (via Eastern Dorrigo Way) in the beautiful Bellingen Shire, surrounded by various National Parks with 4WD tracks, crystal clear creeks, waterfalls, cascades, swimming holes and picnic areas.
The property is 400 acres featuring spring fed mountain streams, cascades and waterfalls that run through its central gorge. First surveyed in 1906 and logged in the days of bullocks and hand saws, remnants of a bygone era remain including the “Jack Feeney Memorial Giant Tallowwood Tree”, a Champion Tree of Australia listed in the National Register of Big Trees. It’s over 50m tall, more than 1000 years old, and was around long before Captain Cook reached our shores.
The landscape starts in dense Sub-Tropical Rainforest opening up to lush green pastures overlooking the amazing views to the west showcasing hedge-rowed rolling hillsides and 1600m high mountain range towards Marengo.
The local fauna is amazing and quite rare, featuring the locals of the Gondwana Rainforests, Koala’s, Wallabies, Paddy Melons, Lyre Birds, Satin Bower Birds, Glossy Black Cockatoo’s, King parrots, Crimson Rosella’s, Wedgetail Eagles, Catbirds, Riflebirds, Fairy wrens, Diamond pythons, Water dragons, Giant Panda snails, Glow Worms, Fire Flys and many more… including our Horses, Cows, Chooks and Bees.
Similarly, the flora is very diverse including Native Tall Hardwoods, various types of Palms and tree ferns, Rainforest and flowering Trees, Vines, flowering grasses, Stag Elk horns and other epiphytes, Crows nests, Mosses, Orchids and more.

There are three horses that will no doubt come and say hello. They are all friendly, especially if you have a carrot. There are also a lot of kangaroos and wallabies. There are also a lot of different species of birds, including the much-loved Black Cockatoos which are in abundance here. We have also seen turtles, frilled neck lizards, diamond pythons, red belly black snakes (rarely) and goannas.

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION**
Roadworks will be occurring at Peedee Hill from now until July 2026. This will only affect campers travelling through Kempsey. Peedee Hill is 30 minutes from the campground and just over an hour from Kempsey. The road will be impassable Monday to Friday 9am – 3pm, Wednesdays 9am-2pm, Saturdays 8am – 1pm. If you leave Kempsey an hour before the road opens you will be able to drive straight through.
DO NOT USE GPS once on Kempsey Road! Because the road is closed on Live Traffic, GPS will take you into the back hills.

HISTORY
This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land.
In the 1800's, white men came
seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging
has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees
remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to
grow out too.
About 35 years ago
about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of
this top end of the valley that you see today.
Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over.
You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though -
they have spikes that could
puncture Caterpillar tracks!)
MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan.
Today the property is registered with Land For Wildlife and hosts a very wide mix of native vegetation communities.

Never Never Park is a Sub-Tropical Rainforest property which borders the ancient Gondwana World Heritage National Park on 2 sides including along Coopernook creek. The property is 400 acres featuring spring fed mountain streams, cascades and waterfalls that run through its central gorge. First surveyed in 1906 and logged in the days of bullocks and hand saws, remnants of a bygone era remain including the “Jack Feeney Memorial Giant Tallowwood Tree”, a Champion Tree of Australia listed in the National Register of Big Trees. It’s over 50m tall, more than 1000 years old, and was around long before Captain Cook reached our shores.
The landscape starts in dense Sub-Tropical Rainforest opening up to lush green pastures overlooking the amazing views to the west showcasing hedge-rowed rolling hillsides and 1600m high mountain range towards Marengo.
The local fauna is amazing and quite rare, featuring the locals of the Gondwana Rainforests, Koala’s, Wallabies, Paddy Melons, Lyre Birds, Satin Bower Birds, Glossy Black Cockatoo’s, King parrots, Crimson Rosella’s, Wedgetail Eagles, Catbirds, Riflebirds, Fairy wrens, Diamond pythons, Water dragons, Giant Panda snails, Glow Worms, Fire Flys and many more… including our Horses, Cows, Chooks and Bees.

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION**
Roadworks will be occurring at Peedee Hill from now until July 2026. This will only affect campers travelling through Kempsey. Peedee Hill is 30 minutes from the campground and just over an hour from Kempsey. The road will be impassable Monday to Friday 9am – 3pm, Wednesdays 9am-2pm, Saturdays 8am – 1pm. If you leave Kempsey an hour before the road opens you will be able to drive straight through.
DO NOT USE GPS once on Kempsey Road! Because the road is closed on Live Traffic, GPS will take you into the back hills.

From vertiginous sandstone cliffs on which epipetrics cling tight,
right through to palm-filled rainforests, and with two quite different creek systems (including a monster waterfall),
you'll be spoiled for things to do and
places to explore - without even leaving the property!
HISTORY
This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land.
In the 1800's, white men came
seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging
has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees
remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to
grow out too.
About 35 years ago
about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of
this top end of the valley that you see today.
Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over.
You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though -
they have spikes that could
puncture Caterpillar tracks!)
MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan.
Today the property is registered with Land For Wildlife and hosts a very wide mix of native vegetation communities.

You will come here to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of Black Mountain' on the banks of the `Mighty Nymbo’, bordering Nymboida River and Nymboi-Binderay National Park on Gumbainggir country.
Visitors enjoy: Swimming in the pristine river; boating; walking tracks through diverse terrain; starry night skies; campfires, or just relaxing for days. Our guests recommend staying at least two nights to soak up the atmosphere and explore the area.
Choose from the 'Ant Shack' or four adjacent campsites with easy access and views to the Nymboida River. Shared facilities include a hot shower and composting toilets.
This is a registered conservation property We can’t accommodate domestic animals nor allow fishing (not even catch and release) because we protect our wildlife and the endangered Eastern Cod.
Black Mountain is remote but only 60 kilometres from Grafton or Coffs (via back way).
Alastair and I have shared the property for more than 30 years and consider ourselves custodians of this precious place. All proceeds from Airbnb and Hipcamp are invested in the continuing conservation of Black Mountain.

Redbank Way is a 1500 acre cattle property & we welcome campers to experience rugged tranquility of our spectacular property.
There are five major camping locations with many other camping locations that you may like to choose for yourself. You may choose to camp near the cattle yards close to the creek, near the horses or high up on the hill to catch the views of the property.
4WD vehicles & high clearance caravans are recommended and able to camp throughout the property and are recommended. 2WD wheel drive vehicles are able to camp at locations earlier in the property.
Toilet & hot shower available. Dogs are permitted but please discuss with us first. as they may need to be on a lead. Please ensure you do not follow Google Maps as you will get lost.
NOTE: When we are at the farm there little to no mobile reception. Your booking is confirmed and you are very welcome, please don't panic if I do not respond to a question, it can take me a few days. Often we aren't at the farm so sorry there is not always a "warm welcome" for you on arrival. :) Refer to my directions and phone number accessible via "My Trips."
Over long weekends such as Easter we offer a "glamping tent" experience for an additional cost of $300 you can hire a gamping tent(s) (setup up for up to 6 people), including stretchers, lanterns etc. Please speak to myself/Kristin separately if you would like to take advantage of this offer.

The cozy off-grid cabin (solar powered) & A-Frame Huts (unpowered) nestled on Nunguu Mountain, offers a space to unwind and slow down. The rainforest views are captivating and can keep you peacefully entertained watching the bird life fly by for hours.
The cabin offers a 2 x bedroom living quarters, that can sleep up to 6 people in total, as well as the main kitchen, living room area and outdoor undercover dining space. The outdoor shower is surrounded by heliconia plants, a forest lovers dream.
The unpowered A-frames are suited for 2 x single or a couple- short walk up the mountain, with a shared outside bathroom "loo with a view" and rock shelf shower.
A 10 minute drive from Valla Beach, 30 minutes to Bellingen and Coffs Harbour a beautiful place to stay and go out for day missions.

We loved camping at Bundilla, we have been on site 1 twice now and can’t wait to come back! It’s a perfect site to be powered and still able to see the kids on the swingsets and slides. The kids absolutely loved the farm feeding aswell and seeing all the animals!

Great property! Lovely private spot with a great swimming hole. The host takes great pride in the property and it shows, the upkeep of the site was immaculate and directions to reach the site were also very clear. We spent one night stopping over at the property at the end of a trip, however we wished we could stay longer and would definitely love to come back in the future.

It’s very obvious the Hosts have put a lot of work into making this HipCamp site the best it can be. From immaculate long drop loos to playground for the kids and access to the River.
Eggs & Firewood if needed, not much more you could wish for.

Beautiful location and hosts. Grassed camp ground on the picturesque Wilson River. Rick and Cheryl are amazing, so friendly and accommodating. Animal feeing was great and the home made biscuits for sale were amazing. Drop toilets were so clean. Definitely worth a visit!

As a mum travelling solo with her 4 year old I was so thrilled to find a very kid friendly and safe environment with everything we could hope for. A magical creek, play equipment, fire pits, toilets and new friends! Not to mention the animal feeding and wonderful hosts who's kindness and generosity shon through their welcome and support during our visit. Will be back on our trip down south!

Great riverside camping. Mown grassy campsites right next to the river. Nice swimming hole close to our campsite. Toilets were clean and showers with hot water. Beth and Ben were great hosts, thankyou we had a fantastic weekend away. Beth's directions were good, the road in from the Armidale end is pretty wild so take your time.

My girlfriend and I had such a beautiful weekend away at this Hipcamp. It truly felt like our own private sanctuary. The highlight was the secluded waterfall and champagne pool; absolutely stunning and such a special place to swim, relax, and take in the surroundings. Having something so magical just a short walk from camp made the stay unforgettable.
The campsite itself was well maintained, spacious, and thoughtfully cared for, offering the perfect balance between comfort and immersion in nature.
Rob was a fantastic host, welcoming, helpful, and generous with firewood. He also provided a clear map to the waterfall, which made exploring easy and enjoyable.
The peace and quiet were exactly what we needed. Falling asleep to birdsong, insects, and the gentle sound of the breeze flowing through the trees was the perfect soundtrack to unwind.
We left feeling refreshed and grateful. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful, nature-filled escape.
