Two campsites share 20 Acres of cottonwood trees on the Wingecarribee river. Wings sits directly between Bowral and Moss Vale (both are less than 5km away) and is 14 km from historic Berrima so you can leave the camper and head into town to enjoy the old world charm of the area. The Southern Highlands is ideal if you’re wanting to escape Sydney (100km) or Canberra (160km) without lengthy travel. Dogs are accepted but Must be kept on a leash as we have an abundance of wildlife, wallabies, kangaroos, wombats and birds, as well as our own dogs, horses, pigs, goats and a cat. This was my 3rd time back here and it was just as good as the previous 2. Both hosts are very welcoming and are always down for a good chat. Both very inviting and charming to talk too. Their property is very open and has sufficient space for camping whether you are in a swag, tent or caravan. We went in swags this time and had an amazing time. Will definitely be back again.

This was truly a stunning stay. The views accross the water and the sounds of so many different bird life. the area was fenced off so I felt totally safe letting the pups run freely. Vallance was such an accomodating host who even on a Friday afternoon came down to help me out of a pickle I had gotten mysleft into. Such a gentleman. and if your lucky enough you might even get lucky with some free range eggs. A beautiful spot. I will re visit one day soon.

Was good stop over for a few nights, decided to leave early to make it to Melbourne quicker. Really private, fairly flat and peaceful. There was a white car that flew down the driveway a few times, so we had to make sure our children stayed away from that area.

Garth and Joanne are excellent hosts. The property is in a convenient spot close to Goulburn and is my go-to place to take my two dogs. There are great areas for them to explore, and the hosts’ dogs are very friendly with others. I’ve even shared this listing on the Facebook breed groups I’m part of. While there’s no toilet on-site, I’ve found the Kmart camping toilets work really well. I definitely recommend this place!

It has flat areas with plenty of free timber for the designated fire pits. I have tried to create a haven for wildlife including Kangaroos, wombats, echidnas and platypus. I cherish the cleanliness of the river and surrounds and wish to be able to share this special environment with others who care to preserve all it offers. We keep the sites spacious and well distanced so you can really feel the farms special vibe. We have dozens of friendly farm animals you can feed and pat! They are very interactive and most were rescued and hand raised by us so have very unique personalities. There is a nature playground for the kids. Very limited reception. We are pet friendly for well behaved dogs! We have a strict on-leash policy at all times and if your dog is off leash you might be asked to leave. Respect all our animals at all times. We have zero tolerance for disrespect for our farm animals. This includes off leash dogs and allowing your dog to go too close to the farm animals especially the Alpacas. Please leave no trace. Take all waste away with you, during your stay and when you leave. Be considerate of other visitors. Feel free to use the fire pits provided by the farm. You can purchase excellent firewood from the staff or bring your own. The scattered branches on the farm can be picked up and used at will. However, we have zero tolerance for the act of damaging living trees.

Far enough away to unwind and relax, close enough to get a caffeine fix if needed! Coming into summer camp fires are subject to weather conditions and fire warnings. Campers must be self-contained. Off grid campers, 4wd vehicles with pop ups or tents on ground and RVs can be accommodated. We have a leave only footprints philosophy. Once a much larger property, we purchased our 120-acre (50-hectare) in 1984 as a means to live sustainably and raise a family. Living in our shed whilst we prepared the garden, installed watering infrastructure, and built our house, which we finally moved into when our daughter was 6 months old in 1990. Over the ensuing years, we have continued to increase biodiversity on the property and set it up so we can live sustainably, harvesting our own water, electricity, and food. If you're lucky, you could get a hamper of our product when there is sufficient in season. With the increased biodiversity, you will find that in the mornings and evenings, kangaroos and wallabies will visit with the occasional echidna, rabbi,t and hare; and to forget the large array of bird life - that may wake you early in the morning with the songs. This campsite is set on lovely grassy open areas interspersed with gum trees. The sunrise looks spectacular near the dam, when the trees give off a lovely glow. The main paddock has a Geodome, a shared space for relaxing in. With all that space, you can park and set up camp anywhere in the paddock. There is access to drinking water, toilets, and a hot shower. Around the dome is a fire pit, drinking water, and a camp kitchen. The fire pit features an Argentinian BBQ and a plate for cooking. The kitchen has plates, cups, cutlery, and other bits and pieces for you to use. We also allow your pets to stay on-site; this includes horses.
