14 acre bush block backing on to Yengo National Park. Wrights Creek is a small suburb between Wiseman’s Ferry and St. Albans in the Hawkesbury, 1.5-2hrs from Sydney. Enjoy a quiet escape in nature with plenty of bush walking opportunities and river access for swimming just a 5 min drive away. Markets are on once a month at St Albans and there is a quaint pub and cafe there open on weekends. Enjoy our infinity edge swimming pool and sit back around the outdoor campfire of an evening (unless total fire bans apply). There are composting toilets and cold showers available, however we are on tank water so keep them under 3 min please! Drinking water also available and BBQ facilities. Grassy area is gently sloped with pockets of flat areas and one large section flattened to fit 3-4 tents.

Ridgetop views evoke stillness and quiet to enjoy the abundant nature, from lyre birds, black cockatoos, wallabies, wombats, goannas as well as many different bird species depending on the season. Whilst the property is 100 acres, we also border Yengo State Forrest so if you're experienced hikers you can tramp until your hearts content without needing permission to cross private properties. The bushfire regrowth is dense and difficult to travers. so I have cut in a loop walk to a rock ledge lookout (see pics) plus 4km return walk to dry creek bed; with caves, pancake rock platforms, and beautiful old trees. Ideal for those who wish to immerse themselves in pristine nature while being only 1.5 hrs from Newcastle or Wahroonga (start of M1) There are 2 camping pads so if you are a group you can spread out but I want it to be private for each group I host, so if you are only 2 people there won't be any other campers We live simply in a Yurt on solar and rain water, apart from us, you will be the only campers so you are able to enjoy the quiet all to yourselves. (See pic 4 to see distance yurt is from camping pad). Have 1yrold Border Collie Cross and training her to be well socialised around other dogs. If you are looking for a party, this is not the place for you. It's the place for stargazers and nature lovers. In the evenings, you won't hear us nor my neighbours so it's only fair that my neighbours don't hear you. No loud music allowed, being a ridge the noise travels and it scares away the wildlife. We're 15mins on dirt tracks from Wollombi village. 2WD vehicle needs high clearance and dry tracks, so check with me first. 4WD and AWD preferable. Dogs love roaming around off leash, if yours is good with recall, as there's no fencing. Children under 5yrs no charge. You may use our composting loo or bring your own camping loo. (see pic 5 and 6) FIRES: Only firepit/cooking fire is allowed from 1st October to 31st March. Firepit provided (see pic 7 ) Open bonfires allowed from 1st April to 30th Sept, as per state rules. Regardless of season all fires are Bushfire Rating Dependant. You can roam around and collect what has fallen on the ground, bring a small battery saw to cut bigger limbs off fallen trees, if you wish.

This campsite is close to Sydney and just on the edge of city life. Set on 5 acres nestled in amongst 25 acres of bush land with creek frontage, just beyond the hustle and bustle of suburbia. 4WD access only must be fully self contained. This camp spot is down a steep driveway. This is only accessible during dry weather as the creek may rise quickly. But we do have 2 sites that are all weather accessible. We regularly get visits from wallabies, deer, bush turkeys, the odd possum and all types of native birds (especially bell birds). Try your hand at a bit of fresh water fishing. There are Nepean Herring, Freshwater Perch, European Carp and Eels to catch. Fish from this creek is not recommended to be eaten. Phone reception 📶 We have Telstra 5 g reception on our phones with 2 bars signal @ 15 mbs. Getting here by Public transport. 🚊 🚌 You can catch the Metro to Rouse Hill, then the 605 bus from the station to the top of Ross place. Hope this helps. Also just a reminder, there are no toilets on site, you will need to bring your own.

Great proximity to the city for a one or two nighter! Camp site 4 has a next door neighbour dog that barks a fair bit when you arrive but he settles down. Otherwise, nice spot and peaceful! We were able to arrive early and leave late which was a nice bonus. There’s lots of kindling around, too.

We enjoyed our winter stay, fire pits available great to keep you warm and roast some marshmallows or mini Krankies a new treat for our lot. amble variety of fruit and veg to walk through and pick. very popular for the day trippers, The camping space was adequate, absolutely massive, allows you have large groups and or set up away camp from other campers for a little privacy. safe for kids and toddlers, with entertainment of farm animals and tractor rides only one shower but if you book, it works out well, it is a bit of a walk to amenities, nice stroll under the moon light or short drive if you don't have other options in your camp set up. amble variety of fruit and veg to walk through and pick. very popular for the day trippers, we will be looking forward to booking again for the summer fruits

We really enjoyed our time at Willow’s wilderness! Phil and Lyndel are both great hosts, and very accomodating. The property is beautiful, and the camp site we had was great! Even after all the recent rain, the site is elevated up a small hill, so we didn’t have to trudge through the mud. Lots of wombat warrens! The drop toilet is in a really good spot too. We brought a lot of firewood with us, but we’re VERY grateful to Phil and Lyndel for proving more, as it was VERY chilly on the last night particularly (frost on the ground, and vehicles), but it makes it all the more fun! Thanks again to Phil and Lyndel, we hope to be back to visit soon!

We really enjoyed camping at Canoelands Orchard. Jaime was a great host, very friendly and communicative and helped us move to a different site a few days before our trip, as there'd been a lot of rain over the week before we arrived. We enjoyed picking a few fruits, meeting the dogs and the onsite cafe/shop was great to be able to grab coffee. We had a really nice sunset view from our site. Canoelands Orchard was great for a weekend trip out of Sydney. Cell service was great, no issue. We really appreciated the firewood being at our campsite when we arrived. Thanks Jaime!

Nice grassy area with a view down into the valley (site 4). The area had received significant rainfall in the week before but the ground was still firm and there was very little mud at the site. There’s fruit picking and animals on site which my kids loved. We did an out and back walk along the Canoelands Ridge Walking Track which featured beautiful views down to the Hawkesbury River. Plenty of stars visible from here on a clear night. Cooking marshmallows over the fire pit provided was an highlight for my kids. Overall a great weekend spot within 90mins of Sydney.

I camped there in a rainy and wet weather and road to my campsite was slippery so my 2WD got stuck and Jaime and her sons Mitch and Bryan helped us out couple times. Thanks for that guys. We had the most amazing time camping at Canoelands Orchard, Site 1! Despite the rainy weather on Friday and Sunday, Saturday turned out beautifully and gave us a perfect day to enjoy the orchard. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and camping right among the fruit trees is such a unique and fun experience. Jaime and Nathan are fantastic hosts—warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Canoelands Orchard Camping and Fruit Picking, is located just 1 hour from Sydney's CBD. The property is 81 acres in total with a small shop and cafe onsite. We offer pick your own fruit so are open to the public daily (closed on occasion). Trading hours can be viewed at www.bookingscanoeladns.com. We are surrounded by the stunning valley views of Marra Marra National Park. Guests can enjoy hiking, wandering the orchard picking fresh produce, taking a tractor ride, feeding the animals and relaxing. Please note we are a working farm so sometimes tractors and vehicles can be heard working from 7am. There will be foot traffic and possibly tractor rides operating near some of the sites although we will do our best to respect your privacy while you are here. We also have a quarry surrounding most of the property, so they sometimes operate machinery early. This is not generally too disruptive though. We are just 15 minutes' drive from the beautiful historical Wiseman's Ferry and the Hawkesbury River. There are multiple hiking tracks located close by. We have several sites to offer around the property. We have a beautiful huge dam just 350m down the gully. It’s super peaceful although a steep walk down the driveway to access, it's definitely worth it, so pack your walking shoes and some swimmers.

We looked for alternative ways of living 6 years ago so we purchased 220 acres to build an off grid camping/eco resort. The property consists of a straw bale house, Tipis, Cottages, 5 stars shared facilities (hot showers, flushing toilets - disable toilet ), outdoor kitchen (gas bbq, pizza oven, all kitchen utensils, pots ), solar system and worm farm septic system. The facilities of the camping are quite luxurious some guests labelling them "better than at home" so you can enjoy the bush experience & still have the comfort of a home. Here you can discover amazing wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, cockatoos, lyre birds and a lot of other birds (designated bird drinking stations through a WIRES program which has a lot of success.) Bring a camera and take in the incredible sights such as wildlife, cliffs, caves, and a magical view of Mount Yengo and Moruben from the top of the property. They are designated walking tracks around the property with all variable lengths & difficulties. We have lots of different sites . All separate for your individual group- you won't see anyone else. Great property for couples, families or larger groups. Sally and Brian invite you to enjoy camping on their beautiful property, surrounded by Yengo National Park and Crown land. Earthways is 134 ha (330 acre) property near Wollombi 25minutes from Wollombi or Broke. Come and enjoy the noises of the bush and the clear night skies with no close human neighbors. We (Brian and Sally) have been re-vegetating the land and living here sustainably being “Off Grid” for over 45years, surrounded by bush with 3km of Stockyard creek meandering through the valley. Creek is flowing at the moment. We would love to share this paradise with those wanting to get away from wifi and the hustle and bustle of city life. (for emergencies we have satellite phone) Children under 5yrs are free. Dogs welcome but kept on a lead during the evening. No leeches and No ticks in this area. NO close neighbors. Perfect spot to pitch your tent or set up your camper in the valley. Lots of sunshine and lots of shade. Easy dirt road access (5km) Some sites require/recommend 4WD -some 2WD is fine. Check each site separately. Wombat, Rocky, Lyrebird, Bowerbird and Goanna sites have bush toilets, shower bag and washing water onsite. Come and take advantage of the Wollombi Valley's beautiful scenery and atmosphere. Sit and relax or get adventurous and explore the area. The historic village of Wollombi is only 25 minutes away, and has cafes, shop, museum and the Wollombi Tavern. The popular Broke and Pokolbin wine regions are a short 25-40 minute drive away in the opposite direction. Yengo National Park has some wonderful look out spots-great to drive to Finchley lookout to watch the sun set or check out Aboriginal art sites. No guarantee but...You may see wombats, kangaroos, echidnas, goanna's, kookaburras, bower birds, lyre birds, superb blue wren, gang gangs, black cockatoos and so many other native birds/creatures. Stunning rock features, caves, diverse ecosystems with abundant native fauna and flora. We are situated in a valley. Each of our camp sites are for your own private space.
