Camp at Ringer’s Rest:
Once the dairy farmer’s quarters, this rustic shed is now a bush-pub style gathering place. Settle by the fire, share stories and music, and raise a glass to farm camaraderie while overlooking the paddocks. Camp nearby and make this communal space your cosy hub.
Camp at Riverside Hilltop:
For sweeping views, set up at the Hilltop overlooking the river. Launch your fishing rods, canoes, SUPs or even a jet ski (no jetty, so launch from the riverbank). Watch swans glide, birds greet the dawn, and deer pass by as the river becomes your playground.
Your Hosts:
Hayden and Ash live on-site and will guide you to your spot whether riverside or hilltop. They’ll give you the farm rundown, share local tips, and help you feel right at home.
The Area:
Two Rivers is tucked away in Coolongolook on the Mid North Coast, with waterways flowing right out to Forster—just a 10-minute boat ride away. Nearby Nabiac offers the friendly Nabiac Hotel for a hearty meal or drink, plus The Artisan Farmer, a farm-to-table café, bakery, deli, and butcher showcasing local produce.
What to Bring:
We welcome self-sufficient campers only, so pack your swag, tent, campervan, or RV. At present there are no amenities, but exciting plans are underway for a camp kitchen and more facilities as the farm grows.

Situated in beautiful Diamond Beach and backing on to the national park, this property offers two beautiful campsites suitable for tents, caravans, and campervans. Both sites are fenced so your dogs can be off-leash while inside the campsite (on-leash at all other times). Bush walk, bird watch or bring your kayak to paddle in the dam. The site has good access, no problem for 2WDs to large caravans. Preferably you are self contained as we are on limited septic.

A beautiful hilly 90 acre working farm in the hinterland above The Great Lakes (Myall, Smith , Wallis Lakes), 30 mins from Seal Rocks, just 10km off the M1 about 20 minutes from Bulahdelah. You do need to be completely self sufficient and to respect our pristine environment and take all rubbish away with you. Food scraps we are happy to share with the feathered flock.
The property offers privacy and magnificent views of rolling green hills and ancient trees and a huge dam with pontoon for swimming. Great stars on a clear night. Sit, relax, and enjoy the magnificent views or utilise the surrounding forests, beaches, lakes, farmers markets, and local winery. You'll be camping near a herd of horses. There's also the Pet pig "Barney Rubble" and ponies / ducks/ chickens/ talking parrot to entertain little people.
Firewood can be purchased when you arrive for CASH for $20 per load and must be collected from the house upon arrival. Eggs also are available - $8 CASH on arrival. Lemons, Limes and chilli's are free.
We limit bookings for your privacy. It is a hilly property so you need adequate power and 4WD to access the higher sites, particularly if towing and after extended wet periods. Message if you are unsure.. 4WD are most suitable for this property. Dogs are welcome and are fine to be off-lead provided they don't chase horses and are friendly. They must be on a lead near the house around the free-range chooks etc. Campers should be fully contained. Bring all, take all, no footprint camping. Wot Doin is a great weekend on our beautiful property 20 minutes north of Bulahdelah. The vibe is warm, friendly, and delightfully rustic with everybody connected in some way.
Most people stay on site in tents, vans, cars, or swags. Camp sites will be on a 'first-in, first-choice' basis. Bringing your own water is recommended as there is only limited water available (and it's a long walk from where you will be camping), and you can't have too many torches. Camp stove, kettle, and cooking implements along with lightweight camping chairs are a good idea. Arriving early is also a good idea. The music starts at 11:00 am on Saturday. There is limited mobile reception.
The usual principles of leave no trace apply. Bring everything you need - leave nothing behind. It's a manicured rural property so sorry, no pets or open fires.
Some people choose to stay in nearby accommodation which you'll find online - search "Upper Myall".

The property offers privacy and magnificent views of rolling green hills and ancient trees and a huge dam with pontoon for swimming. Great stars on a clear night. Sit, relax, and enjoy the magnificent views or utilise the surrounding forests, beaches, lakes, farmers markets, and local winery. You'll be camping near a herd of horses. There's also the Pet pig "Barney Rubble" and ponies / ducks/ chickens/ talking parrot to entertain little people.
Firewood can be purchased when you arrive for CASH for $20 per load and must be collected from the house upon arrival. Eggs also are available - $8 CASH on arrival. Lemons, Limes and chilli's are free.
We limit bookings for your privacy. It is a hilly property so you need adequate power and 4WD to access the higher sites, particularly if towing and after extended wet periods. Wot Doin is a great weekend on our beautiful property 20 minutes north of Bulahdelah. The vibe is warm, friendly, and delightfully rustic with everybody connected in some way.
Most people stay on site in tents, vans, cars, or swags. Camp sites will be on a 'first-in, first-choice' basis. Bringing your own water is recommended as there is only limited water available (and it's a long walk from where you will be camping), and you can't have too many torches. Camp stove, kettle, and cooking implements along with lightweight camping chairs are a good idea. Arriving early is also a good idea. The music starts at 11:00 am on Saturday. There is limited mobile reception.
The usual principles of leave no trace apply. Bring everything you need - leave nothing behind. It's a manicured rural property so sorry, no pets or open fires.

Flow Creek Farm offers privacy in nature. It has an amazing flowing creek that makes you want to explore, swim and chill down by the creek all day. You will see cows strolling by in the paddocks and you can feed the resident pigs and goats.
You need to be a self-contained camper at this campsite with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. Campfires are permitted.
Or if you want some serious adventure, just 13 minutes from here you can head to Kiwarrak Mountain bike track that has a network of approximately 70km of forested mountain bike trails. It’s the perfect place for everyone with easy trails for beginners and technical trails and structures for the shredders.
If beautiful views are your thing, you can ride to nearby Breakneck Lookout for stunning 360 degree views of the mountains and sea.
We recommend 4WDs to access this campsite, and we can accommodate tents and camping trailers, as well as caravans, motorhomes and campervans. If you're unsure about your vehicle please contact us.

Hidden Gem. Peaceful and wonderful hosts. Grass is plentiful and lots of it and million dollar views. We felt like we had the whole property with just the cows in the paddock. Best Hipcamp so far. Definately be back soon.

Waking up to a warbling Magpie, the rustle of a light breeze through the trees, witnessing a flock of Black Cockatoos and the sound of Kookaburras stating the claim of territory….plus stellar sunsets! Less than 5 minutes from the freeway and a short drive into Harrington and Crowdy for breathtaking coastal views.

We had an absolutely fanrastic Easter long weekend at Camp Kundle. The Graham family were incredibly welcoming, and a big shout out to Gary for going above and beyond to look after us during our stay.
The propert itself is immaculate. Facilities were excellent,with two hot showers and two fushing toilets, plus additional portaloos spread across 30 acres for the bus Easter period, which made a big difference.
It's a great spot for families, with a swing set for the kids and a beautiful creek running through the property. Firewood is also available for purchase at a great price.
Mywife, daughter and I loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay over the Easter weekend! The campsite itself is huge, so even though it was busy, there was plenty of space and we weren’t too close to larger parties. We had some rain while we were there, but the ground held up really well and didn’t flood at all.
Gary and his family were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay, which really made a difference. They even handed out little Easter treats, which was such a thoughtful touch.
We would definitely visit again and highly recommend this campsite!

Lovely spot to base yourself. A lot of space between sites and everyone gets a fire pit. There is plenty of portaloos but no potable water easily accessed but Trevor will help!
Trevor is a lovely guy and really wanted to ensure that my son and I had a great time. Checked in but never intruding and made us feel very welcome. His shows were also greatly appreciated and fun.

Trevor's property is a hidden oasis nestled amongst the beautiful forest of the Myall lakes National Park. Whilst we were there, we saw wallabies and kookaburras, but it was a busy time so believe you would see a lot more creatures if it was not so busy. Now don't get me started about the glorious night skies.
Even though the camp was at capacity Trevor makes sure that all camps are well spaced out so no one is close to each other. The facilities were cleaned and maintained daily and great efforts were made by both Maya and Trevor to makes sure that all campers were comfortable and enjoying their stay.
Trevor and Maya were amazing hosts and the two shows that Trevor put on for the campers were amazing, he is such a talented man both his "Wisdom of the Horses" demonstration and the "Confessions of a Folksinger" that completely blew us away.
I highly recommend this site for a nice little get away.

When to go
The best time to visit for warm weather and water sports is from October to March, however it can be crowded during the summer school holidays (late December until late January). While it rains there year-round, it tends to get the most rainfall in February, and the least in August. June to October is the best time to spot whales as they pass by on their annual migration.

- Forster is around 3.5 hours’ drive north of Sydney, and makes a great first stop on a road trip north to Byron Bay or Queensland
- Busways operates daily coach services from Newcastle to Forster via Hawks Nest, Tea Gardens and Pacific Palms
- Forster is part of the Destination Barrington Coast tourist region, which also includes the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Barrington Tops National Park
- Stockland Forster, a short drive from the centre of town on The Lakes Way, has two supermarkets and department stores such as Kmart, Target Country and Best & Less
- Bushland in the vicinity of Forster was severely impacted by the 2019 bushfires, but is now regenerating in most areas, leading to wildlife returning.

- An excellent surfing beach with stunning sights for beachgoers, Blueys Beach's coastline stretches for 900 metres between Blueys Head and Boomerang Point.
- A scenic headland bordered by two pristine beaches, Crowdy Head boasts panoramic views over the ocean and an excellent vantage point of the Three Brothers Mountains.
- The best surfing beach in the Pacific Palms precinct, Boomerang Beach's unique shape, and rock formations give consistent and powerful waves.
- A lakeside getaway in the Barrington Coast region, Smiths Lake is a great alternative to the often bustling, nearby beaches.
- The best all-around beach for those camping near Port Stephens, One Mile Beach is patrolled during the holidays and has a consistent swell perfect for those looking to get out and surf.
