Spent the weekend with my parents, brother and husband over the weekend and we had the best time! The gazebo was the best place to hang with the family and spend some quality time, we made good use of the pizza oven, fire place, fire pit & fridge! Everything was tidy and clean and Megan's communication through the days leading up to it was amazing! The place is private, however the neighbouring rental(?) spots is very quite close by and so on the first night, the neighbours who seem to have built in entertainment systems and speakers were playing music very loudly up until 1am which made it a pretty rough night for us. Also I may have missed this during the booking process, but there is also 4 dogs, which visit the site often :)

We loved our stay at Darren's place. It was a hidden gem close to Sydney - from being welcomed by Darren, his dog (PJ) and Johnny the donkey, to stargazing at night, being able to do campfire, to the amenities and being able to interact with the animals. It was such an enjoyable experience and our group would love to be back!

Great camping site, far enough from the hustle and bustle of Sydney but close enough to not to stay on your wheel for half of the day! Just by the Hawkesbury river, you can camp by the riverside as well. Fire-pit on every sites! Christine is very nice and welcoming too. Loved my stay and will be back again!

The property is a tranquil bush setting , with the majority of the camp sites set into individual private bush areas , with larger areas for groups of friends that wish to camp together. i have been there many times , and continue to go back as Bunyip is just so nice , and the hosts Lisa and Robert are friendly and welcoming. cannot wait till my next time at Bunyip

It was a very quiet spot camped under a huge pine tree, very cosy. Good quality firewood for purchase. The camp spot backed onto a very dark and moody creek, definitely home to Bunyips. The hosts were very welcoming. A nice spot.

We absolutely loved camping on Darren's property. Quiet, with facilities, and all of his animals were the absolute highlight, especially the most friendly donkey and also 2 emus that you can cuddle! We can't wait to visit again.

We found the camp grounds to be safe, relaxing and very well appointed. We had never been proper camping in a tent before so it was nice to find everything we needed at the grounds. The site had power, lighting, a stove top and sink. Even a table and chairs! Christine is a gem. A real down to earth lady with a great disposition and very helpful. We definitely will be returning.

The state forest is a short 10min drive away for bush walking, mountain biking and 4 wheel driving. Beach is 40 min drive away. We are located close to the Central Coast and Newcastle. (In Cooranbong ) Some of our camp sites have access to three eco toilets and only one shared shower, rubbish facilities and drinking water. (Campfires) we have 5 fire pits on some of our sites , fires are permitted during the winter months. We also have 2 x 4 star cabins which sleep 15 between them, they are listed separately on Hipcamp. However the guests from both the camp sites and the cabins have shared access to the pool and facilities. Which includes a large under cover patio area. FRIENDLY PETS welcome. Set in the splendour of rural Martinsville, backing onto both the Watagan and NSW State Forests, it is a combination of grassland and bush. The whole property is very private, peaceful, picturesque and also a Wildlife Refuge. It is home to a resident mob of wallabies, fallow deer, numerous amphibians, native birds, flora and fauna. The billabong affords ample opportunities to view and enjoy a nature experience. Flat sheltered grassland with camp shelter/BBQ . Choose your own campsite. Due to the location and the calm nature of the surrounding areas Arcadia is not a party venue. It is an oasis of peace and tranquility and a wild life reserve . Although, it is a family oriented property, we also welcome couples and small groups, for those who are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and come back to nature. In order to maintain the serene and quite nature of your visit loud music and loud noise is not permitted. There is no fee for children under 5

Dael's Mill offers a uniquely horse-friendly escape where guests have the option to bring their beloved ponies for midweek or weekend stays, or enjoy an intimate escape in the mountains, to slow down, recharge, and reconnect.
