Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. Misty Mountain Wildlife Refuge is a 330 acre farm which provides sanctuary to kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas and many bird species including their habitats. The land has 80 acres of cleared grassland this side of the river, and for the adventurous and energetic you can rome the other 250 acres by crossing to the other side of the rive, there are large stands of rainforest and bushland, with 2.5 km of Brown Mountain Creek and its tributary meandering through it. There are some swimming holes and mini rapids; the crystal clear water flowing over the river rocks can be heard from most parts of the farm. The land comprises Little Brown Mountain and has 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and farmland with wonderful cloud formations and mists contributing their mystery and beauty to the dramatic landscape. There is an orchard with trees producing several varieties of apple, stone fruit and citrus in abundance. A cottage garden produces various vegetables and herbs such as spinach, celery, potatoes, garlic, chives, lettuce, rocket, parsley, turmeric, peas, beans, tomato etc. Past bushfire damage to some trees in the cleared paddocks is evident however, many are recovering well and most provide photographers with interesting and dramatic subject matter. Due to the catastrophic events of the NSW bush fires in this area all camp fires must be kept responsibly safe and no unsafe camp fires will be tolerated. All Guests are required to have an acceptable camp toilet, no holes in the ground. All river access points are shared, be mindful of others. As dogs are welcome and even well behaved dogs will be dogs when it comes to their family, all guests are advised to make themselves known prior to going near another's camp site, then there is no surprises either way. Swimming, snorkeling and fishing are all easily accessed on foot, we have spotted lots and lots of fish, rays and Banjo sharks. The block is located in a private estate, with limited neighbors and a peaceful setting, we ask that campers respect this during their stay. Located just 5kms North of Eden, it is private and secluded to stay and hide away for weeks and easy enough to venture into town for dinner when cooking feels optional. Pambula's famous oysters and vibrant shopping are 12 mins North , Merimbula and its holidays activities and excellent restaurant 15 to 20 mins. Wombats Perch is named after the resident wombats of the area, they keep to them selves but you may find some skillfully perched square poos around the camp. Only toilet paper and paper towel is to be disposed of in the toilet, sanitary items must be placed in your bin. To minimize impact on neighbors and make your stay more enjoyable, there is only one campsite offered on the whole property, so apart from the owners you will have it all to yourselves. You will need to be a self-contained camper who brings their own camping toilet/shower. We offer access to water via a 1000l pod that is close to the campsite. This water is drinkable and may be used to fill jerry cans/ wash etc. We just ask you to please be frugal with usage. The campsite is situated on a grassy knoll a mere 30m away from your own private beach, which is ideal for fishing kayaking and swimming. The Kiah / Towamba river is well renowned for its excellent fishing. Live bait or soft plastics are best. Live bait can be sourced at nearby Nullica beach or alternatively, frozen prawn's, pipis or salted pilchards also yield success. Some of the species that call the river home are, Flathead, Bream, Luderick, Whiting, Estuary Pearch, Jewfish, Mullet and Flounder. If you bring your kayaks, canoe or roof top tinny the river is very picturesque with unique photo opportunities and an abundance of wildlife. You can head upstream for a way but if you're feeling up to it, it's about a 2.5-hour paddle (at a slow steady pace) to the mouth of the river where Davidsons whaling station is located, as well as the view across the bay to Eden. If you time it right, you can go and return with the tide. Two kayaks and life jackets are provided with all bookings so that people without their own equipment are able to explore the pristine waterway. There is a large firepit near the river that may be utilized as long as there is no total fire ban in effect. If you have your own firepit that can also be used but there are to be no fires on beach or bare earth. Firewood can be provided at an extra cost, (please select in extras, 1 bundle will last 2 nights on average). Directions will be provided 48 hours before arrival; you are welcome to head straight to camp although if around I will meet and greet you upon arrival. The property is coastal farmland, half wooded, half cleared, distant neighbours and nearby National Parks. Great surf beaches including Bunga Point, Cuttagee and Aragunnu all close by. There are numerous coastal lagoons, Biamanga and Mimosa Rocks National parks. We have a large dam at the entrance to the property. If you require firewood please select this in the extras or leave $20 cash per nights supply as we do have to chop, split and deliver this to the site. There is plenty of kindling to scavenge on site. If you would like to have friends stay with you there is additional space we allow for campers, otherwise we do not allow campers without the Surf Shack booking. Full privacy with only one group per secluded site. Spacious level grassy campsites on the Towamba (Kiah) River, a pristine estuary that runs into Twofold Bay. 10 minutes on bitumen south of Eden and close to many of the Sapphire Coast's stunning coastline, National Parks and attractions. Site #1 (near) Boatramp has NO facilities so you must be self-contained. Site #2 Main Site offers a composting toilet. Both sites have access to fresh water and are suitable for caravans as well as tents. We are not and never will be a 'caravan park' - your group will have exclusive use of the campsite. Each are far from each other, both are right near to - or very close to - the river. Our guests love the tranquility and not having to share! Fish the river for flathead or bream and enjoy it for dinner by the campfire. Bring your kayak or SUP or just enjoy a swim in the clear sandy-bottom river. Once your booking request has been confirmed, let us know if you need more specific directions so you can find us easily. Well behaved (spoilt) dogs okay but please no hunting type dogs. Welcome to Wombats Perch, a 4 acre block with access to the beach 150m from the bottom boundary. We are located at the North end of Aslings Beach in a private setting bordering the Beowa National Park. To the North is Beowa National park, bush that runs all the way to Pambula river mouth, walking and bike tracks are accessible from the camp. Sea eagles nest across the valley, bell birds ping all day and whales can be spotted whilst cooking toasties on the fire. To the East and South are water views right across the Eden Bay to the light house towers. We offer multiple camping options , 4 x 4 access is recommended but during dry conditions not essential, especially if tenting. 2 flat areas for trailers, vans and small caravans are available. Depending on the set ups we can accommodate 2 to 8 people easily. We have a Jayco Swan, the sites are perfectly suited to similar set ups. BYO water at this stage. Swimming, snorkeling and fishing are all easily accessed on foot, we have spotted lots and lots of fish, rays and Banjo sharks. The block is located in a private estate, with limited neighbors and a peaceful setting, we ask that campers respect this during their stay. Located just 5kms North of Eden, it is private and secluded to stay and hide away for weeks and easy enough to venture into town for dinner when cooking feels optional. Pambula's famous oysters and vibrant shopping are 12 mins North , Merimbula and its holidays activities and excellent restaurant 15 to 20 mins. Wombats Perch is named after the resident wombats of the area, they keep to them selves but you may find some skillfully perched square poos around the camp. Please note, ticks are common in the area. Best to pack a freeze pen or Lyclear cream. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Clydie’s Knob is located in Wonboyn, 30 minutes south of Eden on the NSW South Coast. Situated on Wonboyn Lake, you’ll have direct access to fishing and swimming with the ability to launch a kayak or small boat. Larger boats can be launched in Wonboyn village which is a 5 minute drive from the campsite. The cleared grassy campsite is on 65 acres of bush land where you’ll find kangaroos, wallaby’s, wombats and plenty of birdsong. A fire pit is available for use when fire bans aren't in place. There is plenty of fallen timber on the ground which you are welcome to collect and use for the fire pit but strictly no falling of trees. Clydie’s Knob is surrounded by the Nadgee Nature Reserve which offers bushwalking, birdwatching and swimming in a pristine landscape. The beaches offer great diving, snorkelling, swimming, surfing and picnic areas, all within 15 minutes of our campsite. A pit toilet is available at the site. Please note - This is not fancy! But it does provide privacy. Please ensure that you bring your own hygiene products and toilet paper as this will not be provided. Only toilet paper and paper towel is to be disposed of in the toilet, sanitary items must be placed in your bin. Riverview Kiah is offering one campsite nestled on a very quiet part of the Kiah/Towamba river. To minimize impact on neighbors and make your stay more enjoyable, there is only one campsite offered on the whole property, so apart from the owners you will have it all to yourselves. You will need to be a self-contained camper who brings their own camping toilet/shower. We offer access to water via a 1000l pod that is close to the campsite. This water is drinkable and may be used to fill jerry cans/ wash etc. We just ask you to please be frugal with usage. The campsite is situated on a grassy knoll a mere 30m away from your own private beach, which is ideal for fishing kayaking and swimming. The Kiah / Towamba river is well renowned for its excellent fishing. Live bait or soft plastics are best. Live bait can be sourced at nearby Nullica beach or alternatively, frozen prawn's, pipis or salted pilchards also yield success. Some of the species that call the river home are, Flathead, Bream, Luderick, Whiting, Estuary Pearch, Jewfish, Mullet and Flounder. If you bring your kayaks, canoe or roof top tinny the river is very picturesque with unique photo opportunities and an abundance of wildlife. You can head upstream for a way but if you're feeling up to it, it's about a 2.5-hour paddle (at a slow steady pace) to the mouth of the river where Davidsons whaling station is located, as well as the view across the bay to Eden. If you time it right, you can go and return with the tide. Two kayaks and life jackets are provided with all bookings so that people without their own equipment are able to explore the pristine waterway. There is a large firepit near the river that may be utilized as long as there is no total fire ban in effect. If you have your own firepit that can also be used but there are to be no fires on beach or bare earth. Firewood can be provided at an extra cost, (please select in extras, 1 bundle will last 2 nights on average). Directions will be provided 48 hours before arrival; you are welcome to head straight to camp although if around I will meet and greet you upon arrival. Bunga Surf Shack is located 20m from our house we are completing building in mid-2025. It is private from our house with a seperate driveway. The property is coastal farmland, half wooded, half cleared, distant neighbours and nearby National Parks. Great surf beaches including Bunga Point, Cuttagee and Aragunnu all close by. There are numerous coastal lagoons, Biamanga and Mimosa Rocks National parks. We have a large dam at the entrance to the property. The township of Bermagui is 15 minutes drive north; Tathra and Bega are 30mins south. There is an abundance of wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, goannas, echidnas, eagles, wombats. You can enjoy whale watching, diving, swimming, surfing and walking coastal tracks from here. We absolutely loved camping with Jenny and Arthur. Arthur met us on the highway and escorted us to our site. The site was huge and level with mown green grass. For a small additional price, you can access potable water and power, which we did not need on our weekend trip, but is great for those planning a longer stay. The river ran up to the site. Unfortunately, the weather was too cold for swimming, but the water looked inviting. The toilet was a long drop, but it was immaculate, with tap water for washing your hands. The wildlife was diverse, and spotting the different birds and animals was a fun activity. I would thoroughly recommend Kiah Wilderness Camp.

This is a fantastic camp, we would return anytime! Kangarutha is a very charming property and the bush campsites are large and set in amongst beautiful large gum trees. The site was well maintained and ready. Composting toilet is well lit and very clean. The gate and path to river let us feel extra secluded and really take advantage of the solitude.
