Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. Swimming, snorkeling and fishing are all easily accessed on foot, we have spotted lots and lots of fish, rays and Banjo sharks. The block is located in a private estate, with limited neighbors and a peaceful setting, we ask that campers respect this during their stay. Located just 5kms North of Eden, it is private and secluded to stay and hide away for weeks and easy enough to venture into town for dinner when cooking feels optional. Pambula's famous oysters and vibrant shopping are 12 mins North , Merimbula and its holidays activities and excellent restaurant 15 to 20 mins. Wombats Perch is named after the resident wombats of the area, they keep to them selves but you may find some skillfully perched square poos around the camp. As well there is an abundance of great food available with Wapengo Organic oysters just down the road, Mimosa Winery close by and numerous cafes, pub, restaurants, sourdough bakery, woolworths, bottleshop etc in the gorgeous coastal village of Bermagui. Mobile phone and internet coverage is good with Telstra, not as reliable if you are with Optus. Lovely place to switch off from your device if possible though. If you require firewood please select this in the extras or leave $20 cash per nights supply as we do have to chop, split and deliver this to the site. There is plenty of kindling to scavenge on site. Welcome to Wombats Perch, a 4 acre block with access to the beach 150m from the bottom boundary. We are located at the North end of Aslings Beach in a private setting bordering the Beowa National Park. To the North is Beowa National park, bush that runs all the way to Pambula river mouth, walking and bike tracks are accessible from the camp. Sea eagles nest across the valley, bell birds ping all day and whales can be spotted whilst cooking toasties on the fire. To the East and South are water views right across the Eden Bay to the light house towers. We offer multiple camping options , 4 x 4 access is recommended but during dry conditions not essential, especially if tenting. 2 flat areas for trailers, vans and small caravans are available. Depending on the set ups we can accommodate 2 to 8 people easily. We have a Jayco Swan, the sites are perfectly suited to similar set ups. BYO water at this stage. Swimming, snorkeling and fishing are all easily accessed on foot, we have spotted lots and lots of fish, rays and Banjo sharks. The block is located in a private estate, with limited neighbors and a peaceful setting, we ask that campers respect this during their stay. Located just 5kms North of Eden, it is private and secluded to stay and hide away for weeks and easy enough to venture into town for dinner when cooking feels optional. Pambula's famous oysters and vibrant shopping are 12 mins North , Merimbula and its holidays activities and excellent restaurant 15 to 20 mins. Wombats Perch is named after the resident wombats of the area, they keep to them selves but you may find some skillfully perched square poos around the camp. Please note, ticks are common in the area. Best to pack a freeze pen or Lyclear cream. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Bunga Surf Shack is located 20m from our house we are completing building in mid-2025. It is private from our house with a seperate driveway. The property is coastal farmland, half wooded, half cleared, distant neighbours and nearby National Parks. Great surf beaches including Bunga Point, Cuttagee and Aragunnu all close by. There are numerous coastal lagoons, Biamanga and Mimosa Rocks National parks. We have a large dam at the entrance to the property. The township of Bermagui is 15 minutes drive north; Tathra and Bega are 30mins south. There is an abundance of wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, goannas, echidnas, eagles, wombats. You can enjoy whale watching, diving, swimming, surfing and walking coastal tracks from here. As well there is an abundance of great food available with Wapengo Organic oysters just down the road, Mimosa Winery close by and numerous cafes, pub, restaurants, sourdough bakery, woolworths, bottleshop etc in the gorgeous coastal village of Bermagui. Mobile phone and internet coverage is good with Telstra, not as reliable if you are with Optus. Lovely place to switch off from your device if possible though. If you require firewood please select this in the extras or leave $20 cash per nights supply as we do have to chop, split and deliver this to the site. There is plenty of kindling to scavenge on site. If you would like to have friends stay with you there is additional space we allow for campers, otherwise we do not allow campers without the Surf Shack booking. Absolutely beautiful farm and camp site! The Camp by the Dam site was private, peaceful, scenic and sheltered from the wind, with views over the dam. We experienced a lot of wildlife (wallabies, kangaroos, lizards, frogs, horses and heaps bird life). We spotted kookaburras, nectar eaters and two different kinds of Kingfisher birds (if you enjoy birdwatching, I recommend taking binoculars!). It was the perfect spot for our dog to be primarily off lead and she absolutely loved it, with plenty of space to run and play. We had the entire farm to ourselves for our three night stay, and even if other campers had been on site, it still would have been very private. Waking up to bird song was absolutely delightful. The kitchen, toilet and shower facilities were great to have access to, within a short distance walk. The kitchen has a small fridge, microwave and washing up facilities, dining table, air conditioning and power points to recharge our power bank for our phones. There were plenty of communal areas which would be perfect for group events (large outdoor dining area/table and chairs, fire pit, beautifully landscaped spaces, events building with large kitchen, dining and lounge area). There were recycling and general rubbish bins, and toilet paper was provided. We ordered a wheelbarrow of wood for our three night stay which was more than enough for our time there and was ready on site for our arrival. We can't wait to book our next visit! Highly recommend!

28 nights at Merimbula Camping

I had a wonderful stay at Merimbula Camping. The bush scenery was lovely and the wombats were hilarious and cute. They liked my caravan and used it as a backscratcher at various times in the night. I then put solar lights around so they mostly stayed away. I loved seeing them in the paddock each night - gentle and quiet. There are many other spacious and beautiful sites with drum fireplaces. The toilets were fine. Hot showers available up at the house. Excellent location just out of town . Water available (bring jerries) on site but you can also get it near town on the Bega Rd out. Dump point available in Pambula a few kms away. Great camping - I’ll be back Meredith !

We loved camping here. Perfect for exploring the area and chilling at the same time. It feels more like a rural campsite than a bush camp being a stone’s throw away from the main road. Super friendly and easy going hosts. Respectful owners mindful of our dog’s needs. Enjoyed chatting with both Julie and David. Dunny is exactly that - a dunny! But we didn’t mind. And our pooch loved the place. Stunning views and amazing campfire set up, both for warming up and cooking. So much wood provided, makes the nightly fee very much worth it. Be wary of ticks, we saw several and I got bitten but we were prepared and so wasn’t an issue. A great experience and wonderful hosts!

The site was well maintained and ready. Composting toilet is well lit and very clean. The gate and path to river let us feel extra secluded and really take advantage of the solitude. We loved being able to sit by the fire and watch the kids having fun paddling on the river 😀 This was a great spot that we hope to return to in future.

Beautiful, flat green field perfect for tents, or any kind of camping, clean toilet, good fire place with something you can cook on and a picnic table. She had some firewood already for me to use. Short walk down to pristine , private , river with afew chairs. I can confirm there are definitely platerpus in the river. She acceptes pets , I had my dog and bird with me. There alot of wallies, roos, rabbits ect. So it your dog likes to chase, keep them on a leash. There is little phone coverage, my navman took me to the place down the road but the place is well signed. Trying and fuel up well before you hit the gravel road. But overall a beautiful place to camp 5 stars.

Lovely flat grassed open area , some with power for extra $, water taps everywhere to fill your tanks but no hooking on. Dump point which is super handy , Hosts Jodie and Brett are lovely people with $15 oysters delivered to your camp . Very close to Merimbula and Pambula for your daytime activities and site seeing. Totally recommend.

One of the best sides of Eden, if you want to get away from it all only minutes from the town centre. Under old gums, with sea eagles, kangaroos, frogs and snakes (well away from camp), we even had a visit from a bandicoot! We watched whales breaching and playing with their young through binoculars from the camp site. It’s an easy walk to the beach where the snorkelling, given the favourable calm conditions, was magnificent! It’s a tight little site with a tricky steep reverse to enter with our camper trailer. But once in, worked well with the grasses area comfortable underfoot and the toilet facilities were excellent. Communication with the owners was great and we found our way around easily with the directions sent.

Our stay at Kiah Wilderness was wonderful - kids have rated it a 10/10 campsite and we agree! It was lovely swimming in the river and relaxing in Jenny and Arthur’s little slice of paradise. The compost toilet also deserves a mention, wish more campsites had one!
