Bordering Bournda National Park, the property features expansive tracts of pristine native forest, wide-open paddocks, and scenic dams. The farm offers a small number of secluded, tranquil campsites scattered across the property. Perfect for those seeking peace and privacy, the sites provide space to relax around a campfire and immerse yourself in the natural bush and paddock surrounds. We intentionally only have a limited number of campsites on our large property, so that you can enjoy camping in a natural setting away from the crowd. We have drinking water, flushing accessible toilets and one hot shower in a central location a short walk from the campsites. We have a small campers amenities room with a basic kitchen (i.e. a sink, power, kettle, small fridge, microwave) and dining table and chairs, which is a place to do your dishes or shelter in rainy weather. There are also other outdoor pavilions in the central areas on the property. Enjoy the forest trails here on the property, which take you on a tour to our peaceful back dam. Or explore further afield - our place links to both the Tathra-Kalaru bike track and the Bournda National Park, where you can access the Tathra Mountain Bike Trail Network, as well as the secluded coves along the Kangarutha Walking Track. Our property is dog friendly for well-behaved dogs that don't chase wildlife or the horses on our property. No hunting dogs. Campfires permitted when there are no restrictions. You can gather your own wood, or we can prepare wood for you. Kangarutha also has a country style cottage (with a tennis court!) available for holiday rental - maybe for the parents or friends who are not so into camping! We also have recently launched a new venue 'The Nursery' at Kangarutha Farm, so consider holding your next event at Kangarutha! Contact us for details. Pitch your tent, pull up your van, park your caravan or camper trailer! Come and share our magical slice of paradise here on the pristine Sapphire Coast in a small valley called Nethercote. Our little farm is part of the original Dairy farm of the area circa 1880 Model Farm and we are currently renovating and revegetating the property. We have two spring fed creeks that meet at the front of the property in front with a swimming hole, we are surrounded by National Parks, pristine beaches and the beautiful Nethercote Falls is only 5 minutes up the road. Close to two sweet coastal towns, Eden 7minutes and Pambula 15minutes drive. Lots of bird and insect life along with our little herd of sheep and geese. We are currently developing permaculture systems for our home and garden and part of the system is we have a composting toilet for campers! We love animals and we are happy for you to bring your dog only if it is friendly with other dogs because we have 4 friendly dogs here. As long as you keep your dog on a lead as we have livestock. Riverview is just a five-minute drive from the famous Bega Cheese Factory located in Bega, NSW. Our 33-acre property has 360-degree views of mountains, rolling farmland, and countryside and it overlooks the beautiful Bega River. Tathra is just 15 minutes drive away, with Merimbula around 25 minutes, Bermagui 45 minutes, and Eden 35 minutes. All of these towns have beautiful beaches, fishing, boating, whale-watching tours, and much more. Pack a picnic and walk to the river just down the hill from your camp site. The Bega river is clean fresh water and is well worth a visit on a hot day to cool off. Your hosts can show you a secluded area of the river that you can access easily. The whole area has an array of beautiful spots to explore both on the property and along the riverside. Jackie is always willing to give fresh produce from her veggie garden during your stay just to make you feel welcome. There are horses you can pat and a few sheep that are very friendly and love to be given bread. The historic Bega Cheese Factory and Heritage Center is just a couple of minutes away. The main shopping center and mall in town is just a five-minute drive. On our property, we can offer you a relaxing quiet stay in a secure area. Full privacy with only one group per secluded site. Spacious level grassy campsites on the Towamba (Kiah) River, a pristine estuary that runs into Twofold Bay. 10 minutes on bitumen south of Eden and close to many of the Sapphire Coast's stunning coastline, National Parks and attractions. Site #1 (near) Boatramp has NO facilities so you must be self-contained. Site #2 Main Site offers a composting toilet. Both sites have access to fresh water and are suitable for caravans as well as tents. We are not and never will be a 'caravan park' - your group will have exclusive use of the campsite. Each are far from each other, both are right near to - or very close to - the river. Our guests love the tranquility and not having to share! Fish the river for flathead or bream and enjoy it for dinner by the campfire. Bring your kayak or SUP or just enjoy a swim in the clear sandy-bottom river. Once your booking request has been confirmed, let us know if you need more specific directions so you can find us easily. Well behaved (spoilt) dogs okay but please no hunting type dogs. Both sites have access to separate taps for fresh drinking water. Firewood can be collected from the property or supplied at a small fee (you can book this when you book your site). Feel free to collect your own kindling - plenty around). Good mobile reception on the Telstra network. PLEASE NOTE: the property is currently listed for sale. We are happy to take forward bookings with this understanding and will contact all booked parties well in advance if we sell. The market is very slow so we do not expect a fast sale and will ask for a long settlement so please still book :)

Our property lies in the hinterland of Bermagui and features partially cleared, rolling hills and mountains of bush. Pets and kids are welcome. We own friendly dogs. We are rebuilding after the bushfires. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower. The campsite has access to drinking water. No bins here please take your rubbish with you. Enjoy hanging around the campfire, cooking a meal or toasting marshmallows. We have firewood available. You dont need a 4WD to access the campsite. Vehicle and tent campers welcome. We are located about 30 minutes to the coast and the township of Bermagui. 376 hectare operating dairy farm next to Biamanga National Park with access via secret 4WD track to the mountain and 22km to Brogo Dam for bass fishing. Brogo Dam is excellent location for a swim and to take your dogs for a walk or swim. 16.5 kms to shopping centre of Bega. & 34 km to Tathra beach. The property has eucalyptus forest, rainforest gullies, fresh mountain water and abundant wildlife include bellbirds and lyrebirds. The campsite is at the original 1908 selection block by the late John Pearce (one of the first settlers in the area) and has extensive views. in dry weather you can get here in 2WD towing a small camper trailer. There is a steep hairpin bend so I do not recommend caravans with 2WD vehicles (4WD vehicle and caravan could handle this). If you have queries regarding access check photos in gallery or please ask me. Flushing toilet on site. Dogs permitted. Good telephone and internet reception. Ideal for flying your new drone.

Come and enjoy an exclusive bush campsite on the outskirts of the historic village of Wolumla, between Bega and Merimbula on the Far South Coast NSW. The small township of Wolumla is within walking distance and consists of a great pub and a general store. A short drive further you'll find Candelo, which has its own pub and general store as well as a showground and the country markets held the first Sunday of each month. Merimbula is 10 mins away with great cafes and shops and beautiful beaches. Campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Campers are welcome to have a contained campfire, either BYO firewood or collect from the ground. There is plenty to see and do in the area including exploring the nearby National Parks including Bournda and Beowa. Surfing,fishing,sup/kayaking,mountain bike riding and bushwalking/hiking all within close proximity. Absolutely beautiful farm and camp site! The Camp by the Dam site was private, peaceful, scenic and sheltered from the wind, with views over the dam. We experienced a lot of wildlife (wallabies, kangaroos, lizards, frogs, horses and heaps bird life). We spotted kookaburras, nectar eaters and two different kinds of Kingfisher birds (if you enjoy birdwatching, I recommend taking binoculars!). It was the perfect spot for our dog to be primarily off lead and she absolutely loved it, with plenty of space to run and play. We had the entire farm to ourselves for our three night stay, and even if other campers had been on site, it still would have been very private. Waking up to bird song was absolutely delightful. The kitchen, toilet and shower facilities were great to have access to, within a short distance walk. The kitchen has a small fridge, microwave and washing up facilities, dining table, air conditioning and power points to recharge our power bank for our phones. There were plenty of communal areas which would be perfect for group events (large outdoor dining area/table and chairs, fire pit, beautifully landscaped spaces, events building with large kitchen, dining and lounge area). There were recycling and general rubbish bins, and toilet paper was provided. We ordered a wheelbarrow of wood for our three night stay which was more than enough for our time there and was ready on site for our arrival. We can't wait to book our next visit! Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Merimbula Camping. The bush scenery was lovely and the wombats were hilarious and cute. They liked my caravan and used it as a backscratcher at various times in the night. I then put solar lights around so they mostly stayed away. I loved seeing them in the paddock each night - gentle and quiet. There are many other spacious and beautiful sites with drum fireplaces. The toilets were fine. Hot showers available up at the house. Excellent location just out of town . Water available (bring jerries) on site but you can also get it near town on the Bega Rd out. Dump point available in Pambula a few kms away. Great camping - I’ll be back Meredith !

We absolutely loved camping with Jenny and Arthur. Arthur met us on the highway and escorted us to our site. The site was huge and level with mown green grass. For a small additional price, you can access potable water and power, which we did not need on our weekend trip, but is great for those planning a longer stay. The river ran up to the site. Unfortunately, the weather was too cold for swimming, but the water looked inviting. The toilet was a long drop, but it was immaculate, with tap water for washing your hands. The wildlife was diverse, and spotting the different birds and animals was a fun activity. I would thoroughly recommend Kiah Wilderness Camp.
