We are located at the North end of Aslings Beach in a private setting bordering the Beowa National Park. To the North is Beowa National park, bush that runs all the way to Pambula river mouth, walking and bike tracks are accessible from the camp. Sea eagles nest across the valley, bell birds ping all day and whales can be spotted whilst cooking toasties on the fire. To the East and South are water views right across the Eden Bay to the light house towers. We offer multiple camping options , 4 x 4 access is recommended but during dry conditions not essential, especially if tenting. 2 flat areas for trailers, vans and small caravans are available. Depending on the set ups we can accommodate 2 to 10 people easily. We have a Jayco Swan, the sites are perfectly suited to similar set ups. BYO water at this stage. Swimming, snorkeling and fishing are all easily accessed on foot, we have spotted lots and lots of fish, rays and Banjo sharks. The block is located in a private estate, with limited neighbors and a peaceful setting, we ask that campers respect this during their stay. Located just 5kms North of Eden, it is private and secluded to stay and hide away for weeks and easy enough to venture into town for dinner when cooking feels optional. Pambula's famous oysters and vibrant shopping are 12 mins North , Merimbula and its holidays activities and excellent restaurant 15 to 20 mins. Misty Mountain Wildlife Refuge is a 330 acre farm which provides sanctuary to kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas and many bird species including their habitats. There are Alpacas and Sheep, Kangaroos, Wombats, Kookaburras, Echidnas and many other animals that enjoy this property. The land has 80 acres of cleared grassland this side of the river, and for the adventurous and energetic you can rome the other 250 acres by crossing to the other side of the rive, there are large stands of rainforest and bushland, with 2.5 km of Brown Mountain Creek and its tributary meandering through it. There are some swimming holes and mini rapids; the crystal clear water flowing over the river rocks can be heard from most parts of the farm. The land comprises Little Brown Mountain and has 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and farmland with wonderful cloud formations and mists contributing their mystery and beauty to the dramatic landscape. There is an orchard with trees producing several varieties of apple, stone fruit and citrus in abundance. A cottage garden produces various vegetables and herbs such as spinach, celery, potatoes, garlic, chives, lettuce, rocket, parsley, turmeric, peas, beans, tomato etc. Past bushfire damage to some trees in the cleared paddocks is evident however, many are recovering well and most provide photographers with interesting and dramatic subject matter. Due to the catastrophic events of the NSW bush fires in this area all camp fires must be kept responsibly safe and no unsafe camp fires will be tolerated. All Guests are required to have an acceptable camp toilet, no holes in the ground. All river access points are shared, be mindful of others. As dogs are welcome and even well behaved dogs will be dogs when it comes to their family, all guests are advised to make themselves known prior to going near another's camp site, then there is no surprises either way. 5 nights at Wombat's Perch - Eden Cove

One of the best sides of Eden, if you want to get away from it all only minutes from the town centre. Under old gums, with sea eagles, kangaroos, frogs and snakes (well away from camp), we even had a visit from a bandicoot! We watched whales breaching and playing with their young through binoculars from the camp site. It’s an easy walk to the beach where the snorkelling, given the favourable calm conditions, was magnificent! It’s a tight little site with a tricky steep reverse to enter with our camper trailer. But once in, worked well with the grasses area comfortable underfoot and the toilet facilities were excellent. Communication with the owners was great and we found our way around easily with the directions sent.

4 nights at Wombat's Perch - Eden Cove

Wombat Perch exceeded all expectations. To our left were beautiful forest views and to our front, sweeping ocean vistas where we were lucky enough to watch whales playing with their calves, absolutely mesmerising. One evening, a wombat waddled quietly through our site and kangaroos kept a curious eye on their new neighbours. Each morning we woke to a symphony of bird songs, and part of the fun became trying to identify each call. It really was the heartbeat of the campsite. There are a few lovely flat spots for tents across two tiers. We camped with an SUV and had no trouble accessing the site in October, though I can imagine it might be trickier in the wetter months as Steve mentions. We set up our kitchen and campfire on the top tier and placed our tent facing the forest below. It felt private, peaceful and spacious. The compostable toilet is thoughtfully built with a Perspex wall that looks straight out into the forest, a surprisingly serene spot for a quiet moment. Do watch out for the wombat holes at night. The campsite feels wonderfully remote, yet it is only a short drive to town, and we were pleasantly surprised to still have reception. Overall, this place is truly special, full of character, wildlife and calm. I can easily imagine Steve continuing to shape this space into something even more magical for campers to unwind and reconnect with nature. Highly recommend.

We stayed 4 nights in OCT25. We found the station very pleasant. Nice big spots very open spaces. Great location to access beaches and lookouts. We seen plenty of whales and dolphins on our trip. Everything was as described in their description: Easy access to power/water and dump point on-site. Toilets were not the worst We have come across for a compost toilet, pet friendly & fishing in the lake. There was some road noise but nothing unbearable.

Our time at Pelicans Rest was absolutely delightful! It was everything we needed and provided for a very relaxing peaceful time. Quiet, close to town, clean, great views, terrific bird life and a comfy bed. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Beautiful spot near beaches and towns but in open, beautiful paddocks. My dig loved it too. Working farm so care of sheep and wildlife is essential.

We loved our time at Millingandi Station! Originally we had booked site 3 (with power and water), but asked to move ‘Riverside’ (no power or water, but great view). Jodie was more than happy to assist with this request. We ordered the farm eggs $10 (fabulous multi-coloured) and a crate of wood $25 (a bit light on for the price) and stayed two nights. We would definitely stay again!!

Loved the creekside camping. Kids had a blast playing in the creek, lovely day trips to Bega and Tathra beach. Lovely open spaces and flat areas to park our camper, pitt toilets are kept clean and well stocked.

Large sites. Sites with power and water in the middle of paddock, unpowered around the outsides. Eco toilets clean with no 'aromas'. Town water. Short easy drive to everything. A well maintained, no frills campsite with the basics covered. We look forward to our next stay.

Weekend Trip to Millingandi Station

Great flat spot close to the river with running water taps nearby. The drop toilets are closer to the top sites but are very well maintained. Riverside ( no number ) has no shade but 1 and 3 do, so choose accordingly. The river is filled with small fish and lots of birdlife is nearby. Across the river is bushland so a nice outlook overall.
