Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Only accessible with a 4WD, this off-the-beaten-track spot is only for hardcore campers who love to rough it and see more stars at night than you ever thought possible! There are many flat camping spots, a beautiful clean flowing river, and extreme privacy (one landowner on only one side of the property, with a national park on the other). A lovely deep water hole for fishing and swimming is just a few meters’ walk to the right of the river at the bottom of the property. Or, if you simply want to laze in the water while fresh, clean water gushes past, there’s no need to move from here. Only 20 minutes from the gorgeous town of Eden and 15 minutes from the pristine beach of Boydtown, where there’s also a pub if you feel like a counter meal and a beer or two! Enjoy abundant wildlife, peace, quiet, and total tranquility.There are several flat areas you can set up on. Even the river flats. Just be mindful of Wombat holes and fallen trees. Please try not to disturb the locals and remember no loud music, take your rubbish with you, leave the place as you found it. Enjoy it for what it is - a beautiful natural retreat.
