We had a fantastic stay at the RV3 camping spot. The site itself was quiet, spacious, and offered a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax and unwind. Even though the weather was quite chilly during our visit, having a fire made it feel warm and cosy — it really added to the experience. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. A special mention goes to the toilet facilities — they were spotless every time we used them, which is such a bonus when camping. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend RV3 to anyone looking for a quiet, well-kept place to camp with a great atmosphere and excellent hospitality.

Recommend!! Spent 3 nights at Fame Mountain and had an amazing time. I expected a big spot, but I was impressed with the size of it. Amenities were great, and our hosts were super attentive to our needs. We had the best sunset view on arrival, and got beautiful skies at night. If camping on tents, I recommend keeping an eye on the forecast for strong winds. There was plenty of wood to chop too. Mei and Jon, thank you for sharing a bit of your beautiful place with us!

Charley and Damien’s farm was absolutely perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, even though short. Charley personally welcomed us and was so friendly. Facilities were great. The whole camp had a nice communal feel and it was great to see all the kids running around and having fun. We stayed on site 14, which was located further from the other camps, but had a lovely element of privacy and tree screening. We also found it more sheltered from the elements compared to the sites up on the ridge above the canyon. We brought our own wood, however found lots of pieces on the ground to use also. We will definitely stay again, if in the area.

We loved camping at Quorragami over the June long weekend. The views were incredible and we got to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets! Facilities were great, very clean and well maintained. Charly was a wonderful host and made sure to come around and check in to see that everything was ok. If you use Waze for directions, be careful, as it’ll send you down Mill Lane when you put the address in. I’d suggest putting Barraba Lane in to your search instead as that will take you to the right place. We will definitely be back!

Welcome Ayr Farm Riverside Camp, a working farm with river access. We can accommodate both small and large groups with sites just steps away from the river. There is power and water you can access, however there are no toilets, so campers must be self contained and leave no trace. A 4wd is recommended if you want to camp by the river, but there are plenty of 2wd accessible areas to camp nearby overlooking the river. I run sheep and cattle on my farm, set in a picturesque part of the Hunter Valley bordered by the Hunter River, which feels far away from it all but is close to both small communities and larger hubs. In addition to the sheep and beef cattle I have a small dairy herd of 8 jersey cows, milking once a day, which you would be welcome to watch. I also have chickens, working dogs and a small market garden which includes a greenhouse, glasshouse and seed-raising area, as well as an abundance of native animals and birdlife on the farm. The property is a short drive to shops, cafes and pubs, quaint country villages and Maitland/East Maitland with city amenities. The beaches of Newcastle are an hour away with train service from Maitland and the many attractions and events of the Hunter Valley are on your doorstep, with Sydney being easily accessible for weekend adventures. Next door is Oakvale Wildlife Park and close by is Irukandji Shark and Ray Encounters and Go carts Go. A boat ramp to the Tilligerry river is 2.5 kms away which is a great area to fish and kayak . Popular bushwalking tracks are also nearby. Our local shops including a Bp foodworks, bakery, bottle shop, fruit and vege and Take away are 2.5 km away. Also close by is Murrays Brewery and Sunset Vines both with great food, wine, beer and weekend entertainment. We have a flushing toilet.Tank water is for onsite usage only and we ask that you are conservative with water usage. Electricity hook up is available within the campsite (bring an extension lead) BYO firewood and please be firesafe at all times Dogs are welcome, for the safety of others campers they must be kept on leash during your stay and please keep dogs away from all horses on the property. We do ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave, we do supply a bin for recyclables such as bottles and cans only. Sitting on 25 acres this spot is great to just unwind and relax, looking out over the trees down the valley is as beautiful as it gets. A lot of bird activity will accompany your mornings and afternoons. Enjoy sitting around the fire pit at nighttime roasting marshmallows. Come nighttime during September - February it is the mating season for koalas, the valley being a known corridor for koloas you quite often hear them searching for their partner. being such an accessible site and not off the beaten track, some days you may notice more vehicles driving past. Just a short drive to the local country pub, even a few local wineries. Take the old convict road all the way down to the country pub at st Albans, which is very peaceful for adults but theres also a creek for the kids to play in and newly upgraded playground. Off the convict road there are a few 4wd tracks. Just back from the property you have direct access into the Watagan Mountains, which offers great 4wd tracks, lots of hiking trails, motorbike tracks and even a few waterfalls.

La Cascina is a small property on a hill surrounded by trees and bushland. There are two main camping areas which would suite tent and small to medium van/car camping. There is access to neighbouring bushland with nice short walks available in the area. Only 20 minutes by car to Newcastle CBD, 10 minutes by car to Redhead Beach and 5 minutes by car to Lake Macquarie. La Cascina is a great spot to stop overnight on a road trip or to get away for the weekend to relax. We have no toilets so please bring your own. The access to the property is a steep sealed driveway. Site 1 is an open site with plenty of shade. The area is flat. More suited to larger camping setups. This site is less private. There is vision of the neighbouring property and an overflow campsite 50 meters away. Site 2 is a more uneven surface area which is better for smaller vans and tents. Redhead Beach is the closest dog beach 10 minutes by car. Croudace Bay is a dog park on the lake which is 5 minutes by car. This is a family owned acreage that brings the best parts of environmental living with the benefits of being close to the coast and a city. A very long time ago it was the site of a quarry. The nature has returned and we are left with a beautiful forested acreage.

Nestled under the Watagan mountains escarpment in the Hunter valley, the property has some amazing views in all directions, but still remains secluded and hidden from view. The property has been selectively cleared to maintain a balance of open land and untouched bushland which has a boundary to the Watagans National Park. The animal life is very diverse as many species transition from the Watagans into the property and many live on site full time. These include flocks of amazing bird species such as Gang gang and Black Cockatoos, resident Wedge tailed eagles, Kookaburras, finches, honey eaters, Coucals, Lyrebirds and more. Wallabies of various types are common, and Sugar gliders can be seen on the flowering Eucalypts. The camping areas for RV's sit on a large elevated flat area that border a large gorge with broken views towards the Hunter Valley vineyards. The Gorge (or Canyon) is rimmed by caves and has rainforest type trees in the bottom. The caves can be explored and the rainforest can be walked if you are fit! The tent and camper trailer areas are terraced into an area of slight slope with a number of sites to chose from. Non potable water taps are available at each caravan site and at intervals in the camping area. This water is clear fresh dam or bore water and can be used for showers, washing up etc. Two flush toilets are available for use by both RV's and campers. There is a central fire pit. We have a private site which has open views over the Hunter Valley to the Vineyards and beyond to the Barrington tops. This site has a cliff edge pool that comfortably fits up to 4 people for a dip. This area has a large fire pit that can be used to heat the pool in winter. This site has its own flushing toilet and Shower. This site is best suited to a caravan as it is terraced, though it would be possible to setup tents or a camper van in this location also. This can also be booked as a group site. 16minutes to Cessnock, 25minutes to the M1, 2.25 hours to Sydney central and 25 minutes to Pokolbin. The location is generally very peaceful with all sorts of wildlife. There is plenty of ground sticks for fire wood and bulk timber for purchase. There are 2 dams that can be fished on request (catch and release cod and bass)

We are a farm forestry property located in the middle of the north shore of Port Stephens. Two hours north of Hornsby. 1 hour north of Newcastle. 2 mins to Pindimar beach, 9 minutes to Coles and bottle shop, 11 minutes to surf beach, 12 minutes to Jimmy's Beach. Pets are welcome, but please pick up after them. Free firewood - Help yourself to what you need. The logs will need to be split as required. axes and wheelbarrows are supplied and are stored in the firewood storage shed. Every site has a fire pit. Hot showers and clean, decent toilets. Good mobile signal for Telstra and Optus networks. Two Communal Fridges and a cold communal spa. There is lots of space for campers so you will have privacy whilst you enjoy your camping adventure. We are located on a dead end road, so very rare to have any traffic after 8pm. Good fishing. Pretty much everywhere you can wet a line. Prawns are best bait. If your dog is on the government list of restricted breeds or on the dangerous dog list please leave at home We have a gentle, well trained old German Shepherd who adores kids but after being bitten by another dog, now prefers to stay inside the house and not visit the camp sites. PLEASE NOTE: 1) We ONLY ALLOW ONE camper trailer or ONE caravan per site. No limit on number of tents. 2) IF You Have more than 3 vehicles/site please contact host before booking. 3) Depending on the weather on the day, we may have to limit the number of vehicles that can be parked adjacent to your campsite. 4) NO late night check in . If you are a group larger than two people the check in time is between midday and sunset. Do not arrive after sunset. The reason being if you are a large group turning up late, you will ruin the camping experience of other campers who got there earlier to watch the sunset and just chill. Furthermore, the sunsets are one of the reasons people come here. Every single day it is totally different. If you arrive late you have missed it.... 5) As the business name suggests (mountain) our property is on a slope. We do have several flat areas for tents , hybrids, camper vans and small caravans. And we have 6 levelling blocks scattered across the sites. Dead flat is a concrete slab at any caravan park anywhere but not here.

We are offering 5 beautiful, partly shaded, camping sites along the pristine Upper Karuah River. All sites are separated for privacy and are all right on the edge of the river. You may get a visit from our horses, Dolly and Banjo and the cows and calves! Plenty of opportunities for bird watching, hiking, swimming, kayaking, fishing (in summer), star gazing or just relaxing. All sites are site only and no toilet or shower facilities are provided.
