Crystal Creek Ranch

19 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents100 acres · Upper Crystal Creek, NSW
Welcome to my beautiful 100 acres that backs on to Springbrook National Park. There are crystal clear freshwater creeks. Most campsites next to the creek. The property is mostly natural bush with some cleared patches for camping and horse grazing. The road entering the property is damaged due to the resent rain and you will need to drive through water. Most cars are safe but if you have a low set car or if you are delicate with your car I would not recommend. Only 30 mins from natural arch and 20 mins to great fishing and crabbing in the tweed river. Dog friendly (must be well controlled no aggressive dogs). Drop toilets and hot showers. There are 2 cabins available each with private portable toilet and hot outdoor showers. Campfires permitted ( when fire bans not in place) and wood can be purchased in advance during booking process. No fire wood to be collected off property BYO or purchase in advance. Not a place for loud music and parties, happy for everyone to have fun but noise is restricted. If you are a disturbance to other campers you will be asked to leave without a refund. PLEASE READ THE CANCELLATION POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING!!!

It's a true escape from the hustle and bustle yet only 15 minutes from the big smoke of the gold coast. Mount Bally Cabin is a luxurious tiny cabin in bushland facing Mount Bally. You can call it camping, but really this is glamping on another level. It is situated up high in the trees capturing the valley breezes and views, but most importantly the wild life and peace and quiet. Inside the cabin you will find everything you need. A queen size bed (linen is fitted and supplied), a large reading chair and lounge area. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, complete with fridge and freezer, convection microwave, induction cooktop, espresso coffee machine, tea and coffee making, toaster and kettle. The entrance to the national park is at the back of the cabin, with fantastic walks and water holes along the creek. Mount bally summit hike is at an elevation of 380 meters with extensive views to Byron Bay to Stradbroke island. There is covered parking for 1 car. If you don't feel like cooking there is a great little cafe only 1 minutes drive, that's open for breakfast or lunch. All you need to bring with you is your groceries, toiletries, a towel for swimming in the creek, some good walking shoes and maybe a great book to read. The cabin is not suitable for children or pets. New fire pit installed. Treat yourself to a wonderful time to relax and unwind. You could easily use this as your base while heading off for the day to enjoy all that the Gold Coast has to offer. In August we even have fire flies that can be seen just after sunset along the creeks in the vegetation. The base of the ancient Bally mountain is right here. Offering hiking trails just steps from your campsite. Wander along the charming creeks where you might spot Azure Kingfishers, Satin Bower birds, spotted pardalotes, kookaburras, magpies, spangled drongo, dollar birds, and more. Jerrapark Hideaway Trains

1 site · Lodging38 acres · Barkers Vale, NSW
Jerrapark is just far enough away from towns and cities to feel remote and wild. Some guests have remarked half joking that as they enter the property it feels a bit more like Jurassic Park. A section of the farm has been preserved as rainforest…where towering palms and ghost like eucalypts stand over boulder strewn creeks that sometimes flood with roaring force. Everywhere there are wallabies, goannas and the weather sentinels…the black cockatoos. Bird lovers will find it is an excellent place to go birdwatching. Take a stroll through the verdant pecan forest where our horses graze…sit by the bubbling creek…and if you are very quiet you just might glimpse a platypus foraging. When the weather turns hot and steamy take a splash in one of the dams or wander down and sit under the waterfall that cascades most months of the year. Here is a wonderful place to meditate…a primal grotto watched over by towering gums and palms. Luxuriate in our newly added spa, including a Hot tub and a Sauna, to detox and relax! Later reconnoitre up the hill and glimpse our small part of the ancient caldera with Mt Warning (Wollumbin) in the distance. While you are there pick some ripe mangoes and take them home for a sweet treat. Back at the carriages the herb garden will assault your senses with the aroma of wild basil, thyme, lavender, lemon balm and mint…weaving a spell to enthuse you to cook up something mouth-watering in the kitchen.
