We are within easy reach of a number of walking tracks.
We are a 40 minute drive from Mebbin
National
Park, 25 minutes to the town of Nimbin and just over an hour from Byron Bay and plenty of beaches.
Enjoy relaxing relaxing around the campfire in our spacious campsites or enjoy a splash or paddle in the small creek. There is drinking water, a hot shower and a compost toilet available for campers.
There are a range of campsites available from the edge of the forest down to creek front sites (4WD only) and in the Pecan orchard. Please check by prior email during the wet season for specific access requirements.
Campfires are permitted in the fire pit provided, pending there are no fire restrictions. We can supply seasoned firewood at competitive rates.
Friendly pets are welcome, we also have dogs on the property.

There’s a small firepit and chairs in the yard to enjoy the sun setting over the mountains and stars at night. The cabin is a few minutes drive to the creek where you can go swimming. Relax on the sun lounge listening to the birds sing and Christmas Creek flowing by, or enjoy a Scenic drive or bushwalk in the local area. Christmas Creek Café is just down the road.
Phone reception is available at the cabin if you’re with Telstra. The property is 2WD accessible, but I recommend 4WD in wet weather

We have converted a container into a tiny home overlooking our gardens. Relax and unwind by the outdoor fireplace by night while you enjoy the sunset views over the hills. We are close to shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches, creeks and parks. It is only a short drive to Pottsville town. There is plenty to see and do in the Northern Rivers. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you would like some recommendations.
The container has been converted into a tiny livable space with sustainability and simplicity in mind. Features include a compost toilet, hot shower, air conditioner, toaster, stovetop kettle, fridge, daybed, queen size main bed (towels and linen are an added extra), small deck with an outdoor kitchen and bbq area.
You may like to meet our pet ducks or if visiting a farm is what you’re into we can recommend some great local farm tours within a 20 minute drive from here. Spa treatments, yoga, bushwalking and water activities are all close by. Unfortunately our goats are currently doing weed maintenance on a nearby property and may not be here for your booking.
If you’re looking to experience the rural setting with the convenience of beaches and shops being close by then this is the place for you. This is a unique area in Pottsville and we look forward to hosting.

We loved Stuart's place for a peaceful getaway from the hustle & bustle. Is positioned perfectly for nearby walking trails & visits to quaint local villages. The Forest Gypsy tiny home is nestled amongst a beautiful canopy, is very private and has the basic essentials to get you through the day. A fire pit, sauna and nature pool were on offer but we didn't take advantage of these. Stuart was very kind to let us pick fruit from his orchard - the scent of the orange blossoms was divine. Sushi the dog happily greeted us each day, with plenty of cuddles & kisses. Taking in the clean country air, gazing at the night time sky and mingling with the resident fireflies was an absolute pleasure. Stuart was very personable & ensured our stay was most enjoyable :-). We will definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Hazy Stays
Beautiful view. My boyfriend and I spent majority of our time on the little deck. We didn’t get to experience the goats because they were doing maintenance elsewhere but 2 ducks visited once while we were there. The windows are tinted and the shower has amazing water pressure. The toilet is a compost toilet inside the tiny home bathroom and the shower is outside on the deck (still covered and has a sink). I didn’t have much reception at the tiny home but that could be different for others depending on what network you are with (for example my boyfriend reception occasionally worked). It is on a quiet street and lovely area. The family do live and work from the land aswell but they have made it barely noticeable they are there. The deck has a beautiful kitchen which the wall of that expands out further for privacy. Aswell as bushes in place to give it that extra block. They had a wonderful book that had recommendations of where to go and where to eat, whilst we were there we only ate and went to anything on the book since it was our first time there. I recommend the potty mouth pizza, Okky chips, the breakfast place in Pottsville was absolutely amazing and our favourite activity was sunflower picking at farm and co.

Just spent a week there with my 2 teenagers. Absolutely loved the cute tiny home and location. Lovely and rural feel but right near the beach. Explored both bush and beach. Beds were really comfortable and shower super hot for the cold nights. Enjoyed the fire each night and the feeding the cute goats. Thanks Michaley and Josh for a great place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. It was quiet, the beds comfortable and had a lovely view of the hills from the patio/ bed. We loved the fire at night time and had plenty of wood from the 2 bundle package. Its close to Potsville which has nice food options, we got nice Thai food as we arrived late the first night. The Thai closes early so we took it home and had it in front if the fire. We also had a lovely breakfast at Black Drop which i can highly recommend, loved by gluten free hubby, fussy eater 11 year old and me who can't eat eggs or bacon.
I don't recommend to arrive at night as it would have been a breeze during daylight but harder at night time but Michaley was very helpfull to guide us to the tiny house. All in all lovely few days away. Thank you Michaley and Josh.

Beautiful stay, the surroundings are magical, the truck itself is so well thought out & the attention to detail made us feel like we were in a mini hotel room! The outdoor bath is spectacular, even in the cold cold winter mornings that hot bath felt otherworldly ✨ (the shower is phenomenal too)
The bed was warm (electric blanket helped) & even the extra bed downstairs was comfortable. (I ended up down there the second night as I’m 33 weeks pregnant & kept having to get up to use the loo, it’s a bit of a hike up to the top bed otherwise)
The fire pit was great, we used the pizza oven too to cook which was a lovely touch! We didn’t have a pen to write in your guest book so can only apologise there’s no review in there.
Overall it was a wonderful stay for our baby moon 🌙 Thank you Felicity for allowing us into your space!

Such a beautiful spot! We had a great stay, even though it rained for most of our time there. We still checked out Protestors and had a nice drive out to Nimbin. The bath was lovely and so was the visit from the neighbours dog…such a cutie. The bed is quite firm and tricky to get in and out of, but I wouldn’t let that stop you if you’re looking for a weekend away! Lots of thought and care has gone into the linens and kitchenware and it was an appreciated touch 😊

A fantastic place to slow down and relax - just far enough from the rest of the world for some peace and quiet, while close enough to have anything you could possibly need within reach.
We were relieved to hear that the tiny home was accessible with a sedan, and charmed by how cozy the cabin was - the addition of the sauna and pool tying it all together for a stay to come back for.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without Stu, who was a wonderful host and warm, friendly person.

The truck house was beautiful, my partner and I went there as a get away from the world looking to immerse ourselves into nature, was a very romantic setting and loved every moment, lovely local area and swim holes to explore.
