This property is located in one of the most spectacular areas on the Clyde River, with fantastic river frontage. The land is uniquely located between Pigeon House, Byangee Walls, and The Castle and The Budawang Wilderness Area, so makes a fantastic basecamp for those wanting to explore this beautiful part of the Morton National Park. The property is ideal for those keen on paddling, fishing, walking, listening to the many bird species, or simply absorbing the beautiful energy of this natural retreat. Please be advised that it is approximately 45mins to an hour to the entrance of the access rd, from either Milton, the beginning of Wheelbarrow rd or Monkey Mountain rd. It is also roughly the same coming via Western Distributor from Kings Highway Once on these roads a vast part of your drive will be on dirt, and may be a little testing in wet weather, however you will discover some much natural beauty when you arrive at your destination Please also note that there is no reception in this area, the closest place for phone reception is at Pigeon House Mountain. In the event of any emergency the caretaker does have STARLINK to assist with contacting medical authorities or family.

Only 10 minutes from amazing beach fishing at Durras and beautiful Long Beach known for its kayaking and paddle boarding. There is so much to see and do. Climb Pigeon House Mountain or cruise on the Merinda up the Nelligen River over a seafood lunch...you will not be disappointed. Upon arrival, you will be able to choose a spot on the property that you wish to set up. All campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet and take all waste when they go. Strictly no 'digging a hole.' When booking please note that one site is big enough for your van or tent, the extras button is for extra guest/children in your tent or van. If you have guests with another tent or van and vehicle they need to book their own site The pubs and clubs are a near convenience, or you can just kick back by your own pit fire and enjoy the stars in the safety of The Hundred Acre Woods. Bound on two sides by the craggy escarpments of the Budgong and Morton National Parks there is ample grassland to give a feeling of space yet an abundance of trees to wander through as you engage with the tame wildlife and magnificent birdlife. Bring your mountain bike, fishing rod, swimmers, hiking boots, tennis racket, basketball (a hoop on the tennis court) or climbing gear and leave the kids in the play area while you sit by the creek and listen to the water tumbling through the rocks. If you are as intrigued by rare animals as we are, then this is the place for you. 63 Bird species, 24 mammals, 16 reptiles, and 12 amphibians have been sighted in the area (Clarke 2012) and this includes many rare and endangered species including the platypus, brush-tailed rock wallaby, Giant burrowing frog, Gang-gang cockatoo, Glossy black-cockatoo, Koala, Little Lorikeet and the Yellow-bellied glider. We only have three campsites at present, so you will be guaranteed peace, space and privacy. with a minimum of 400m between all sites. Please note, that your group must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, however fresh drinking water is available. Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong and Dad's camp sites but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend site is only suitable for 4x4's and off-road camp trailers. To secure your booking we require a minimum of 6 adults (2 x children= 1 adult) Day trip possibilities are plentiful as the Shoalhaven has a lot to offer. We are 20km west of beautiful Bawley Point beaches, 33km south of historic Milton which boasts fine dining plus great shopping and the same distance via a different route to Ulladulla and its quaint harbour. For the more energetic there some great bushwalks, including climbing Didthul (pigeon house). Ideally configured for 20. Additional camp sites are available in an adjoining space. The shed has a bar with cold, potable water. A few tables and chairs are provided for your convenience. The lights require a small generator to power them. We use a 2kv With private access to one of the largest waterholes on the freshwater Clyde, you are welcome to bring your own kayaks, fishing gear (license required) and flotation devices. Children are welcome, although must be supervised at all times due to the proximity of the river and steep bush land. Sorry, pets are not permitted with future bookings This is not a party venue. The shed must be vacated by 10pm Please note access roads are not all sealed, including 18km gravel via Milton and 13km gravel via Termeil. Currently suitable for all vehicle types.

Need to be self sufficient, We live on the property so we are happy help and make your stay enjoyable. Good mobile reception Bungendore is 20 min away. Canberra is an easy commute.
