The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. 2 nights at Up The Creek

Nick's land is beautiful, lush green trees to shade you. The is creek right beside all 3 sites and the sound of the water is magical. The toilets are clean and easily accessible. The shower, once the gas was turned on, was great. Up the Creek is an easy 3km from the start of the rail trail at the Crabbes Creek end. We had a lovely few days enjoying the region. We were caught in a very heavy rain storm and Nick was a great host and checked in on us, offering dry fire wood. Not inclined to cook in the rain, we drove a short way up the road to Mooball for a cold beer and steak! Definitely recommend.

Thanks Nick, This was our 3rd stay and as usual the toilet was very clean and the grounds well kept ,, we happened to have an extremely wet 36 hours, the creek was really flowing and our site was well drained . We will be back to again ride the rail trail. Regards Dave and Rosemary

As a Gold Coast resident I was looking for a place far away from light pollution to do some stargazing. I found this camping ground and booked it in for the night, it was nice and quick and I received all the info to let me comfortably access the side after dark. I was worried I would get lost or would find it hard to find a place to set up but it was very easy. Search a beautiful camping ground, plenty of space, swimming holes, kayaks available, kitchen, games room with free wifi - even hot showers available! Loved every bit of it. I will definitely be back and do some more exploring. The host was wonderful. I caught quite a few shooting stars ✨✨✨

Glenn and Zoe are amazing hosts and so accommodating. All sites are a fantastic space which will not disappoint - how could they with views out onto the water and (if you’re lucky) dolphins swimming past. We will be back for sure - I still need to catch a fish from the jetty!

McKenzie’s was incredible! Amazing location, beautiful wildlife and so much space in our spot. The river is stunning and has many places along it to enjoy the views or take a dip. Jimmy was a legend and a wealth of knowledge about the area. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

Weekend Trip to Tyalgum Showground

We took our campervan and stayed for three days. Good facilities, close walk to shops. Close to a pond where you could possibly see a platypus in the wild. The township of Tyalgum is very friendly. Great food at the Tyalgum hotel (pub) and Flutterbees. The campgrounds themselves are pleasant. We shared the weekend with many other campers. Very quiet and peaceful place. Many level sites both powered and uncovered available. Toilet facilities are clean and well kept. All in all, a great place for a relaxing holiday.

Tea Tree Camp is a spacious site on the river. The creek beside the camp is deeper making it a great spot for swimming. The kids also enjoyed exploring the shallow areas and rocky section near the bridge. Shade is limited throughout the site, so it was quite hot during the middle of the day. Bring a gazebo to sun shelter during the hotter months. If you are planning on swimming, make sure you pack water shoes. The host (James) recommended wearing shoes as there is bullrout in the creek. One thing to note: the property shares a road and wooden bridge with Krishna Village. There was a steady flow of vehicles coming and going over the weekend, which I hadn't expected. This may be less of an issue during weekdays. Overall, Tea Tree Camp was a beautiful location with plenty of space. We'd happily return for another stay.

Great friendly staff, site had what we needed. It poured with rain so having the communal kitchen was a lifesaver and it was very well setup. It’s a well run facility and very easy to recommend.
