The area has a lot of old gold mines within a 5 kilometre walk and many bike trails surrounded by mostly thick trees. Take your mountain bike on the old gold mining tracks which some would say are 4x4 trails but I have a station wagon and if you go slow it's ok. Turn right at Bush Pixie Mating Circle in Google Maps. This campsite has access to drinking water and a toilet (but no shower). There is access to rubbish facilities. Relax by the crackling fire in the evenings. Clydie’s Knob is located in Wonboyn, 30 minutes south of Eden on the NSW South Coast. Situated on Wonboyn Lake, you’ll have direct access to fishing and swimming with the ability to launch a kayak or small boat. Larger boats can be launched in Wonboyn village which is a 5 minute drive from the campsite. The cleared grassy campsite is on 65 acres of bush land where you’ll find kangaroos, wallaby’s, wombats and plenty of birdsong. A fire pit is available for use when fire bans aren't in place. There is plenty of fallen timber on the ground which you are welcome to collect and use for the fire pit but strictly no falling of trees. Clydie’s Knob is surrounded by the Nadgee Nature Reserve which offers bushwalking, birdwatching and swimming in a pristine landscape. The beaches offer great diving, snorkelling, swimming, surfing and picnic areas, all within 15 minutes of our campsite. A pit toilet is available at the site. Please note - This is not fancy! But it does provide privacy. Please ensure that you bring your own hygiene products and toilet paper as this will not be provided. Only toilet paper and paper towel is to be disposed of in the toilet, sanitary items must be placed in your bin. All rubbish is to be removed at the end of your stay and we ask that you leave the property as you found it. 4WD or AWD is recommended for access to the property. Well behaved dogs are welcome but they must be kept on leash at all times.

Bendoc is located in Far East Gippsland, there is a local pub with new owners, where you can catch up with a local or two, where pub meals and basic supplies can be purchased . Bendoc is also renowned for its gold rush history and trout fishing in the local streams. Guests will have a number of sites to choose from on arrival and there is access to both a toilet and shower during your stay. There is also available for hire a travellander camper which includes 2 Engel fridges , out door kitchen and undercover eating area. All guests have to provide is, their own linen. There are some luscious rain forests -the beautiful board walk at Errinundra and the Delegate River tunnel located within 10 kms from the property. It is a 15 minute drive across the border to the town of Delegate where you can get a meal at the local hotel and cafĂŠ and where supplies and fuel can be purchased. We are located about 2 hours from the snowy mountains and the NSW South Coast. This area is also lucky to have trees that survived the bushfires.. The area has views of the beautiful Delegate Hill which you can drive up to the top and enjoy the beautiful views. There are also some walking tracks around the property with a small dam and some ducks on it. Campfires are welcome in a contained fire pit and pets are welcome on a leash. Access to property is : Coming from Delegate - Hayden's bog road you go past Bendoc Sign, then about 100 metres, just after the cleared paddock with the new dam and cattle yards , first turn right up the old bonang road then the caravan park is 1.3 kms down the road on the right Coming from Bendoc - Up on the hill past the mill site turn left down the old Bonang Delegate Road and the caravan park is 1.3 kms down the road on the right

T.J Wilson We have 3 remote sites and 3 dispersed sites and the property is six kilometers from Dalgety township which is situated on the “Snowy River” NSW. We are located 30 minutes drive south east of Jindabyne and 40 minutes drive south west of Cooma. There is a flush toilet and fresh drinking water is available at our dispersed sites. Caravans can easily be filled up via garden hose and if you are staying on one of the remote sites this can be done easily prior to settling in. We have a mowed loop track giving easy access from each site to stroll to the top of the hill, walk the dog or enjoy the 360 degree views. Take a picnic in the evening or just a glass of wine and watch the sunset from the top of the hill. After dark, relax and toast some marshmallows over the fire pit and discuss what you are going to do the next day. The land was originally once a part of "Marranumbla Homestead". I have called it home since 1995 and now share it with my partner Phillip, our son, Danish the Whippet, Murphy the Malshi, Myonie the Moodle and Finley the cat. The house yard only had 2 trees when I bought it and the house built originally in 1980 still needed completing on the inside. I have worked hard to create an extensive garden in a sometimes harsh environment. It's our peaceful part of the "Snowy Monaro", the property being 155 acres in total. A great place to wander and breath in the fresh air. In Dalgety township you can have a meal and catch up with a local at the "Buckley's Crossing Hotel" or take a walk around the show ground, town and along the river reserve where you can have a swim and relax on the riverbank and view the historic Dalgety Bridge circa 1888 across the Snowy River. Then come back in the evening to look for platypus when they come out to play. Visit the local 'Snowy Vineyard and Microbrewery' incorporating the 'Dalgety Brewing Company' situated approximately 10km north of the town on the Snowy River or have lunch at 'Tuscany in Dalgety' 2km to the west of town. Take a trip to Jindabyne which is half an hours drive to the west, walk round the lake, visit the 'Jindabyne Brewery', great food, beer, cider and wine or the many other restaurants and cafes in town. Spend some time at the 'Snowy Region Visitor Centre' and the 'Gaden Trout Hatchery' or catch your own trout in the lake or at the 'Eucumbene Trout Farm'. Travel beyond into the mountains and Kosciusko National Park to Thredbo, Perisher Valley and Charlottes Pass. Explore the many walks in the national park including the walk to the top of Mt Kosciusko. Visit the 'Wild Brumby Distillery' enjoy some European fare and locally crafted Schnapps, Gin, Vodka or Gluhwein. Take a day trip through Adaminaby to 'Yarrangobilly Caves and Thermal Pool' in the northern end of Kosciusko National Park, picnic, swim and tour the caves. Visit the "Snowy Hydro Discovery Centre and Café in Cooma and learn the history of the scheme. The Centre houses a comprehensive exhibition hall including an extensive photographic collection, models, hands-on exhibits and a one of a kind immersive theatre. You will find information about the Scheme such as engineering, the environment, the National Electricity Market, history, water management and power generation. Make it your base camp while enjoying all that the winter season has to offer and lets not forget the skiing and snow boarding of course. Well that's just a sample of some of the things you can do but if all that sounds like too much, just put your feet up and have a rest at your campsite!! P.S. The annual Dalgety Show is held on the first Sunday in March every year and did you know that Dalgety was one of the sites considered for our country's capital. Telstra 4G coverage on the property, limited Optus coverage.

Site #1 (near) Boatramp has NO facilities so you must be self-contained. Site #2 Main Site offers a composting toilet. Both sites have access to fresh water and are suitable for caravans as well as tents. We are not and never will be a 'caravan park' - your group will have exclusive use of the campsite. Each are far from each other, both are right near to - or very close to - the river. Our guests love the tranquility and not having to share! Fish the river for flathead or bream and enjoy it for dinner by the campfire. Bring your kayak or SUP or just enjoy a swim in the clear sandy-bottom river. Once your booking request has been confirmed, let us know if you need more specific directions so you can find us easily. Well behaved (spoilt) dogs okay but please no hunting type dogs. Both sites have access to separate taps for fresh drinking water. Firewood can be collected from the property or supplied at a small fee (you can book this when you book your site). Here at Kanukadale, you will share the space with very friendly horses, ponies, miniature goats and our donkey. The property is child friendly as the boundary, river and paddocks are well fenced. You are welcome to bring your own horses and dogs. Dogs must stay on a lead whilst on the property and responsible pet ownership is essential here, as is a respectful attitude towards all the other sentient beings on the property. We do not allow generators here. There is lots to do in the area with heaps of nature immersion. East Gippsland is one of the most bio-diverse areas on mainland Australia. You can explore rare, Old Growth forest, historic gold mines, climb to the peak of Mt Ellery and walk through the Errinundra Plateau. Mountain bike riding, horseriding, 4wd touring and bushwalking is awesome in this area. There is a camp kitchen with a communal fridge, microwave, stove and electricity. There is also a composting toilet and hot shower facilities. There is free wifi. THERE ARE NO SHOPS OR FUEL OR MOBILE RECEPTION. WIFI CALLING WORKS IF YOU HAVE THAT OPTION. We have 40 beautiful acres on The Snowy River Way in Jindabyne with several large, private sites on offer. Our property is on a beautiful hill with a dam midway up if you’re looking for a nice walk. Do a loop around the property for spectacular views. The sites at the bottom of the property closest to the road have easy access and more protection in windy weather, but if you have a 4WD and are wanting to sit and enjoy the 360 degree rural views then head up the hill. All of the sites are large and private from one another and from our house and neighbours. Groups are welcome to have their own spot together and each site has a fire pit in place. We can supply firewood, kindling and fire starters for a small fee or you can BYO. Strictly no foraging for wood from the property please. There’s also no power hookups, taps or toilets.... so it's fully self-sufficient camping. We are only 10 minutes from Lake Jindabyne – turn left to head up to the mountains (a further 30 minutes to Thredbo or Perisher) or right to explore Jindabyne township and its boutiques, breweries, cafes and cinema. Stop in at The Station Resort on the way back from the mountains, just five minutes away for a nice feed and game of pool (during winter). Come and enjoy the beautiful outlook and natural wildlife. Our farmstay allows you to enjoy a unique holiday where you can get up close and personal with our friendly farm animals including new calves, pigmy goats and ponies. Located near the beautiful Bega river, our farm offers a tranquil and scenic setting where you can relax and unwind. Whether you want to take a leisurely stroll along the riverbank or simply soak up the sun while listening to the soothing sound of the water flowing by, our farm has something for everyone. For those who love fishing, our river is an angler's paradise. You can cast your line and try your luck at catching a variety of fish. With clean facilities, our farmstay is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and reconnect with nature. This is all within a 10 minute drive to Bega or Tathra and its beaches. We have reduced site numbers to 5 so plenty of room and space. We have made improvments so there is near level sections to all sites. Please note that due to council restrictions camping at the river is not permitted. Please contact us for more info. Visit Tathra, but stay at Kangarutha, only 2km from the edge of town, and enjoy space, privacy and tranquillity. We intentionally only have a limited number of campsites on our large property, so that you can enjoy camping in a natural setting away from the crowd. Our stunning property is comprised of open paddock areas surrounded by large areas of native forests, and we border national park. Enjoy the forest trails here on the property, which take you on a tour to our peaceful back dam. Or explore further afield - our place links to both the Tathra-Kalaru bike track and the Bournda National Park, where you can access the Tathra Mountain Bike Trail Network, as well as the secluded coves along the Kangarutha Walking Track. Our property was home to the former and well-loved businesses 'Kangarutha Nursery', and 'On the Perch Bird Park'. We have been busy re-imagining these spaces. We have drinking water, flushing accessible toilets and one hot shower a short walk from the campsites. Our property is dog friendly for well behaved dogs that don't chase wildlife or the horses on our property. No hunting dogs. Campfires permitted when there are no restrictions. You can gather your own wood, or we can prepare wood for you.

The Property is situated on the pristine Wallagaraugh river near the Victorian and New South Wales border, 8km down an all weather dirt road, easily accessible for caravaners and boaters and is approximately 45 km from Eden and 40 km from Mallacoota by car, very isolated but has limited phone and internet reception, 15 minutes down river Gypsy Point and another 20 minutes your at Mallacoota on the coast, if you need fuel, supplies, etc, 5 to 10 minutes up river the bullring , proceeding with caution you will go through a temperate rainforest and end up at the rock wall with small waterfalls and fresh water pools. A haven for many species of birds and wildlife, sea and wedge tail eagles nesting close by a bird watchers and canoeists paradise, also many species of fish so if you want to wet a line a Victorian fishing licence is needed, the river has a 5 knot speed limit from the campsite to Gypsy Point, if your more into bushwalking or sightseeing there are several national parks within a 30 minute drive or boat trip, or just have a swim, chill, relax and enjoy the peace and serenity. one site has small tinny access to the river and the other is good for a 20 ft boat, can accommodate up to 30 people at one site and 15 at the other, camping and fires are only allowed in designated areas, some firewood supplied, at both sites you cannot have fires or camp in fenced off river frontage, you will have to provide your own camp toilet, shower, etc and take all waste away when you leave, I can arrange if needed by prior notice site toilet, bulk firewood, launching of boat, etc. No firewood collection, motorbike riding, shooting or 4x4ing on site, some pets on leash may be allowed by prior arrangement.
