Check out us on Instagram @glencairnestate We just opened a coffee trailer at the entrance of the property - serving premium Barefoot brew (local coffee roaster) coffee every morning 6am to 1 pm. Just 8 km from Byron Bay - 10 minutes drive along a scenic country road, with gentle hills around and magical views. Near all the Byron incredible activities, such as great restaurants, waterfalls, beaches. Well positioned between the beaches of Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads. Incredible privacy and quiet. There are goats (with babies) in a paddock next to Site 2, and a horse paddock with 7 horses in front of the tent only sites (7 to 10). We do have a water tap though to fill your tanks and a couple of electric plugs to charge your essentials (check the small old shed close to Site 1). We have 10 different sites, 6 for caravan / RVs/ tents and 4 for tents only (with access only with 4WD) in two different spots of the property - for a total of 20 guests max. It is a former cattle farm that is being currently reforested to the original Big Scrub rainforest. The proceeds from Hipcamp are used to reforest the land. PLEASE make sure to take your garbage away and remember the campsites are for fully contained campers only (no toilets on site). You NEED to be fully contained to stay in the property. You can enjoy walking around and explore the magic sunsets of the Byron Hinterland. there are a fee billabong/ creeks, with the biggest one next to site 7/ 10 (there is a trail from there).

Surrounded by pristine pine trees and natives. We are roughly 15 minutes from all 3 surrounding towns Kyogle, Casino and Lismore. We are also only an hour away from the beach for any day trips planned. Great spot to stop for the night on your trip or stay for a weekend and take in the peace and quiet. We are easy to pull into and can cater for all size vans. Roads are all freshly gravelled and well maintained to cater for 2wd access also. Toilet and Water provided but respect us by taking your own rubbish with you. Beautiful little stream with rapids and rock holes to keep yourself cool in summer. More than welcome to bring hiking shoes, mountain bikes to go explore. As long as you respect the farm rules and if the gate is shut you shut it behind you. No 4wding is permitted on the farm. Animal feeding is an activity we provide with food available to buy for the animals. The cabin and property was established in the early 1980’s and lived in for 37 yrs by famous Australian/Californian surfer and writer “Rusty Miller” and family (Rusty Miller was featured most notably in the iconic surf film from 1972 “Morning of the earth”.) The cabin is located next to the main house of the hinterland property but not attached. Cabin is private and fully self contained with cozy combustion fireplace for winter, A/C unit and/or fan for summer, fridge, 2 burner gas cooktop, basic kitchen equiped with cooking/dining utensils, tea and coffee provided, hot/cold water, kettle, toaster etc. shower, toilet, laundry and bathroom is seperate to cabin but located just metres away in the homes luandry and second bathroom with external entry door from porch patio. bathroom / luandry may be used by myself and other house member however we do also have another private bathroom in main house for our use. private outdoor hot shower out back of cabin in spa/bar grassed area. Under cover parking next to cabin for one vehicle (further vehicles can be parked nearby within 10 metres not undercover.) Behind cabin is a private 4 person hot tub/spa under the stars with spa/bar and bbq area and outdoor campfire all for your exclusive use. hot outdoor shower next to spa. If you care for a short walk down to the creekside tent site then your welcome to enjoy the creek swimming hole n rainforest walk through surrounding areas, this area may also be used by tent campers if they are here. There is a fruit orchid with mostly citris and some tropical fruits which may or may not be ripe depending on time of year which your welcome to pick and enjoy, all this is a few hundred metres walk from the cabin. fresh farm eggs can be supplied free of charge. The cabin is best suited to couples who want to explore byron shire for surfing, horse riding, food and culture or perhaps just site seeing and then have a quiet relaxing private space to come back to after a day out, or would also suit couples with up to 2 children (under 12.) (cabin is only 8x6 metres so not a huge indoor space for 2 kids and 2 adults but loads of space outside to enjoy!) 2 kids under 12 are allowed and pull out single bed mattresses and bedding is provided upon request. families can enjoy a relaxing hobby farm experience n see the horses, collect fresh duck and chicken eggs, possibly spot a koala as we get them often, heaps of possums and other native wildlife passing by to see and hear. Property is located 8mins from the Pacific highway, 10mins from Mullumbimby or 18mins from Byron bay township pubs, restaurants and surfing beaches. Approximately 20mins drive to Brunswick heads surfing beaches or Byron surfing beaches. Board racks for surf boards provided. National parks for hiking or horse riding within 20mins drive. Can accommodate 2 horses in paddocks ($10per horse per night.) and parking space for horse float should you wish to bring your horses and enjoy some trails or beach riding in the area, I can give more information on places to ride on request. The 4 person hot tub/spa out back of cabin is lovely under the stars and moonlight after a big day out exploring the area of Byron shire. Delicious home cooked meals can be provided delivered to the cabin for additional costs please enquire. I enjoy gourmet game meat farm style cooking and Italian cooking, I have a history of working in commercial kitchens as a cook. other activities that can be booked at additional cost include Didgeridoo Making workshops for adults and didgeridoo painting workshops for kids. this is a full day activity for adults and a half day activity for kids doing didgeridoo painting workshops. please enquire for more info and prices. The cabin and property has a very peaceful vibe to it with birds whistling, horses neighing, koalas grunting, possums growling and my cheeky rooster will probably start crowing at 6am ;) but he is a few hundred metres away so not too loud for a sleep in! There are plenty of activities to try around town, from bushwalking, exploring the Rail Trail in Murwillumbah and downhill mountain biking at the Uki Mountain Bike Park (Less then 8Km from our property). The property is just 5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. We offer general camping, an area for tents and swags and we welcome custom group bookings. We have two amenities blocks (six toilets and six hot showers). We have a Tea Garden Cafe running, with barista made coffees and Devonshire Teas, breakfast menu, hot food (hamburgers, hot chips, ...) and cold drinks. Firewood and ice available for purchase. Hidden Valley is a dog friendly camping ground. However, it is the responsibility of the owner/s to keep their dog/s controlled at all times and on leashes, for all campers to enjoy their stay. Nestled in a wildlife corridor, our 1.4 acre property is surrounded by trees and nature. There are two campsites separated by a communal picnic table and fire pit which ensures your privacy. There is also a toilet block with a toilet. The spot is located in the backyard, away from the main house where the owners live. A stone's throw to everything the Gold Coast has to offer. Less than 10 minutes to Tallebudgera, Palm Beach and Currumbin beaches, 15 minutes to swimming holes and waterfalls in the hinterland and to the thriving restaurant and nightlife scene in Burleigh or Coolangatta. 30 minutes to the heart of Surfer's Paradise, 45 minutes to Byron Bay. 5 minutes to supermarkets and shopping at The Pines and 19th Ave shops. As we are in a nature corridor, please ensure you do not collect firewood from the property grounds and take your trash out with you. There is a petrol station around the corner (corner of 19th Ave and Guineas Creek Road) with bins, firewood for sale and a water tap. Please note that being 1.4 acres, our property is ideal for overnight stays and using as a base for a trip to the Gold Coast as it is quiet, private and has a stellar location. It is truly seclusion in suburbia. Positioned on a hill above Christmas Creek to take in the views, were you can watch the sun rise over Little Widgee Mountain and the sun set over the mountains to the west. This fully contained cabin is approximately 30 square metres and features a small veranda out the front facing Little Widgee Mountain and Buchanans Fort. Sit back and relax on the bench seat or table and chairs. A larger veranda out the back faces Christmas Creek and the mountains to the west. Relax on the deck chairs and read a book, or sit at the bar and enjoy a drink while watching the wildlife. There’s a table with chairs to enjoy your breakfast or dinner outside.The loft bedroom has a queen bed. There’s reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you comfortable. The kitchen is self contained with a small microwave/oven, a 60 cm ceramic cooktop, a medium size fridge/freezer, a toaster and kettle. The lounge room has a couch, 40 cm TV with DVD player, small table and chairs. There’s no free to air TV channels available. BYO DVD or there’s a small selection available. No Wi- Fi There’s a small firepit and chairs in the yard to enjoy the sun setting over the mountains and stars at night. The cabin is a few minutes drive to the creek where you can go swimming. Relax on the sun lounge listening to the birds sing and Christmas Creek flowing by, or enjoy a Scenic drive or bushwalk in the local area. Christmas Creek Café is just down the road. ABOUT Zaytuna Farm Eco Hamlet is a highly active Permaculture demonstration site and has been used to teach permaculture to countless international and local students for the past 20 years. It is at the forefront of Permaculture Design, displaying many permaculture principles, and produces an abundance of food and various yields from within its living environment. Zaytuna Farm Eco Hamlet is a family friendly farm, situated on a sixty six acre (27 hectares) property that fronts Terania Creek opposite the village of The Channon, Northern NSW. The property is completely off-grid and contains 800m of creek frontage with fishing spots, a swimming hole for campers, and abundant wildlife ideal for bird watchers. Zaytuna Farm Eco Hamlet has recently become a community of 8 private residences that share this beautiful property. We kindly ask that campers respect the residents’ privacy, however if you spot them on the common grounds, they are always up for a friendly chat. CAMPSITE The campsite is situated on the communal grounds at the heart of Zaytuna Farm Eco Hamlet on flat lawn surrounded by bamboo and the sounds of the rainforest. We also have 10 raised camping shelters on offer, suitable for small tents for 1-2 people. Campers have close access to bathrooms built from eco-friendly shipping containers with composting toilets and warm showers; a fire pit, a kitchen garden to share from, an education/function center (available for hire), a common sheltered area to relax with wifi, and an equipped shared kitchen. OTHER NOTES We strictly have a no drug and alcohol policy. Due to our policy and customs, we kindly ask that no pork products enter the property, and that reasonably modest clothing is worn (shoulders down to knees covered is fine) including around the swimming hole. On every second sunday of the month, the Channon Markets are on, which is just 10 minutes drive from camp. Dunoon village is cute yet, very practical. There is a general store, bottle shop and they sell ice, Mechanic, Post Office and the best bit, you can even go out for dinner or lunch depending on the day, at the Dunoon Sports Club/ Pub then head back to your secluded country camp and cool off in the beautiful creek or warm up and enjoy some quality time around the camp fire!

We are professional musicians and love to meeting people. Elphie used to own the iconic Nimbin Rox backpacker hostel, and although Soulhaven is only in its infancy, it still has a relaxed atmosphere. Our favourite part of living at Soulhaven is the daily orchestra of birds! Although you will feel like you’re completely secluded from busy town-life, we are only 15 minutes from the nearest shops. Enjoy a toasty campfire in the evenings where you can sit back and gaze at the stars. There are trail bikes tracks nearby and the iconic Border Ranges is just past Kyogle. This campsite is 2WD friendly and caravans are welcome. You may need to level your caravan for a good night's rest. Your pet, on a lead, is welcome to camp with you. We love animals, but one of the reasons we left suburbia was to get away from barking dogs. If your dog barks at night, or is not we’ll socialised, you’re best to leave pooch at home! Our place is family friendly and we ask that you keep music and noise to a minimum after 10pm.

Thankyou for considering Dungarubba Fields. We offer you a well located and secure camp-site to explore the North Coast or for that overnight stay while you are travelling to your destination and need a safe place to camp. Our four campsites are spacious and are freshly mown flat grassed sites. Each campsite has 1 or 2 stone circles for campfires, with free kindling and free firewood supplied to all campsites. Whether you are a single traveller, a couple, family or group booking we have the campsite for you. We are family friendly and dog friendly. Dungarubba Fields is a private, rural setting on six acres on Bundjalung country. Four of our camp sites are situated across a small bridge in the back paddock, and one camp site is situated just before the bridge for those self driving campervans with a wider wheel-base. The paddock was once cleared and in recent years we have planted and cared for over 100 new Koala and rainforest trees. After the Northern Rivers floods of 2022 we are now continuing the bush regeneration beside the Dungarubba wetland which borders our property. Our camp-sites offer shade, space, wildlife and birdlife. Campfires are allowed 12 months a year depending on fire ratings and local conditions except on days of Total Fire Ban and the preceding evening going into a Total Fire Ban. We supply the free firewood to each campsite as we understand how important the campfire is to the camping experience. Outside the fire season we can supply a readymade Bonfire at an additional cost to your booking. Hipcampers can access fresh drinking water (rainwater) from our rainwater tanks, with an accessible tap near our home. Hipcampers have access to a downstairs flushing toilet at the house. We offer a Portaloo for larger group bookings situated beside your camp site as an optional extra for an additional cost. The Portaloo needs to be booked when you make your booking. The house on the property was originally built in 1903 as the Catholic Church of the nearby locality Riley's Hill. In the 1940’s it was moved to the current site after low attendance by parishioners who didn’t want to have to row across the Richmond River and get their feet wet to attend Mass. The church sold the building in the 1980’s and it was raised off the ground with two new wings attached on either side to become a private residence. The sugar cane and soybeans, however more surrounding land is being planted to Macadamia nuts which will change the look of the landscape in future. During May to November of an evening, you can look out for the occasional cane fire which is a historic part of the harvesting of sugar. The Richmond River and boat ramp is a short 2 minutes drive for both fishing and water skiing. The Broadwater National Park with sand-dunes and a fishing beach is only a 10 minute drive away. The Pacific Highway is 7 minutes drive away. The beautiful coastal village of Evans Head with shops, a medical clinic and a patrolled beach is just a 15 minutes drive. The nearest townships are Broadwater (2 fuel stations and a pub under new management), Coraki (junction of 2 rivers), Woodburn (pub with a bistro and a laundrette) and Evans Head (a township with most services). We are a 45 minutes drive to Byron Bay and 25 minutes to the coastal city of Ballina up the Pacific Highway or 25 minutes drive inland to the city of Lismore. We welcome friendly dogs and there is plenty of space for them to run around and chase balls or other dogs. Our dog Stella is a 4 year old Blue Heeler, who greets people from the balcony barking as you drive in. Don’t let the barking fool you as she loves visitors and their dogs. We expect owners to be responsible for their dogs and in particularly when there are Koalas close by. We ask dogs not to roam at night as Koalas are nocturnal (and so are other critters) and night-time is when they choose their food tree for the next day and roam around. Look for the big red letterbox with the blue flag on the right. This spot is for people that think that they are the only ones left in the world. Once at the top, it's yours to live in peace and quiet. 56 acres of undulating hills covered with native bush land, with 10 cleared sites for you to set up camp. If you like an adventure then this mountain is for you. 2 sites called "Top of the world tent site 1 and tent site 2" are accessible by 4WD only (tent camping is advised) There is a step 19 degree road up to the penthouse summit thats at 1000ft. However if it is dry you can tow a camping trailer but only if you have a winch. If it rains the only way down is backwards tethered to trees via your winch. It's an adventure. Campers are welcome to have a campfire, there is plenty of timber on the ground that you can collect or bring your own. As long as there is no fire ban. There are some great bush walks you can enjoy, including down to the creek (about a 40 min walk). The creek is picturesque with lemon trees and peach trees along the edge while in season. There are 2 sites down at the creek called Firefly's and platypus and these are for off road self contained 4x4 campers and those with a tent. The creek is pristine and crystal clear unless it's raining. These 2 sites are absolutely private if you book them both. If you don't mind sharing the creek with another camper then you only need to book 1 site. There is also a 10 month of the year 30 metre high waterfall (depending on rain fall this waterfall can vary from massive water to slow water) and another seasonal waterfall. Don't forget the dam for swimming with the spa tub and fresh mountain spring water constantly flowing into it from an inch and a half poly pipe constantly overflowing into the dam. The water in the creek is safe to drink with no filter needed. The creek is running and crystal clear and very private. If you are in a 2 wheel drive RV/ Motorhome you can book the "Paw Paw hill site" or "a dam good view" There is one site that is all grass accessible in the dry weather. Plenty of drinking water is also available at all sites either via a tap or the creek running water. All campers MUST HAVE their own portable toilet. If no portable toilet you can purchase one from many camping stores at a reasonable price before coming. Doing number 2 in the bush is totally unacceptable. Because this is a leave no trace camp site we do ask you to take all trash with you when you leave as well. There is no council rubbish collection in this area. We respect our beautiful paradise and we know you will appreciate it also. If you make a fire please leave it so I can mow around it once you leave. E.G Please remove all sticks.

Welcome to Emu creek Retreat One of the best destinations for hiking, camping, bushwalking, swimming, Kayaking, fishing, mountain bike riding (bicycles only), bird watching, 4wdriving and even fossicking, since the old gold mining town "Lunatics" was not far away from us. Dogs, men's best friend, are definitely welcome. If travelling in a 2wd please contact us before booking, some of the campgrounds have to be reached by crossing the creeks, Girard camp is one of them where the office and the showers are, at times this crossing is under water and is only accessible by 4wd. Other campgrounds are available near the entry gate that don't require a creek crossing for access and toilets are available on some of them. One side of the property is bound by Emu Creek and the other by Gerard Creek, both creeks have enough water with some permanent deep water holes for all year activities. Sightseeing inside the property we have Girard Falls, a 50m deep waterfall, nature at it's best. The only entry into the property is by Emu Creek Rd a gravel road. Emu Creek Retreat is located in the far north-east of New South Wales. We are approximately 200 km from Brisbane, Toowoomba and Gold Coast, 150km from Byron Bay. Tabulam is the nearest town 12km away. Fuel and groceries are available at Tabulam along with a post office, pub and police station. Casino is 68km away and Tenterfield 78km. Once a working cattle property, in the 90's was converted into a camping and 4WD park. Since 2017 has been a family own and operated property, pet friendly, we are using the existing large camping grounds to convert it into a camping paradise. Two properties combined with close to 2800 acres, fronting Paddy’s Flat Rd for 2km and extends 7km to the back fence bordering a 22000 acre cattle property. The front section is undulating with plantation forest (spotted gum) and bushland, towards the back it has mountains, steep terrain and millions of trees with spectacular views and great hiking tracks.
