Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main lake that offers great swimming. Site five overlooks the lake and opens into a private bush area. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens and chooks around the house paddock. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of cattle and our 2 donkeys or set aside for regeneration. The Scrub Campsite located in remnant vegetation (14 minutes from Victor Harbor ) is a rustic self check in campsite as the owners do not reside near the campsite. Campers choose their site in the designated camp spots. Sites are not allocated unless by prior arrangement. Persons under 18, youth groups, school groups or scout groups etc. are not permitted to book at the campsite. A communal camp kitchen, water tanks and compost toilet is available for campers use. Kids will love the farm tour (4.45pm to 5.30pm daily) for the feeding of chickens, horse, sheep and goats. It's an excellent area for mountain bike riding as well! Kayaks available for free. Don't have a caravan, we have partnered up with Wrighty's Caravan Hire and Repairs. linktr.ee/wrightyscaravans. They offer family caravans delivered, setup ready for you to enjoy. Pets allowed but you must have on lead when walking around the property near cattle. Note a maximum of 2 dogs per camp site. Rules: 1. For the piece and quiet of other campers all check-ins must be before 4.30pm during the colder months. Check ins after 7pm may be turned away in busy times. 2. No Fireworks - this is very unsettling for our livestock 3. 9pm quiet time. 4. No drones in the camping area, for the privacy of other campers 5. Welcome to our spacious riverside camp sites on the banks of the beautiful Moruya river in the South Coast of New South Wales! Glenduart Farm Riverside camps are the perfect location for enjoying the camp, or as a base for exploring the local area. We are located just a short distance from town, where you can find a range of shops, restaurants and cafes. If you love markets, you're in luck! There are plenty of local markets in the area, including the Moruya Country Markets which are held every Saturday. You can also visit the Moruya Farmers Market, held on Tuesday afternoons, or the nearby Tilba Market, held on Saturday mornings. The tiny nearby town of Bodalla boasts a magnificent dairy with cheese tasting (try the lemon myrtle!) and interactive calf feeding daily at 10am and 4pm. If you want a few pints and great meal, the ribs at the Adelaide Hotel are magnificent (although only available seasonally) and a courtesy bus is available from the entrance to the property. There are plenty of tourist attractions to explore in the area, including the stunning Eurobodalla National Park, the historic town of Mogo and the renowned Mogo Zoo. For those who love the outdoors, the Moruya river is perfect for fishing, kayaking and swimming. If you're looking for natural beauty, you'll be spoilt for choice. Take a drive along the coast and discover beautiful, secluded beaches, or explore the nearby forests and waterfalls. Our riverside camp sites are great for large or small groups boasting generously sized and spaced grassed sites offering beautiful views of the abundant Moruya river along with individual firepits* Whatever your interests, Glenduart Farm Riverside Camps are the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that the South Coast has to offer. THE IMPORTANT STUFF: ACCESS: As you enter the property, you'll find yourself driving down an unsealed dirt road, before embarking on approx 100 meters of fairly flat to gently sloping paddocks. We recommend 4WD or AWD vehicles to access, however will leave this to your discretion. PETS: We are a working farm with horses and cows that are easily spooked and we only allow dogs under very (very) special circumstances. Please send an enquiry if you wish to bring a furbaby along, but as a rule, we do not allow dogs on the property. AMENITIES: There are no drinking water or electricity provisions on site. There is a toilet provided with walking distance to all sites. Our future campers and native wildlife request that you keep your business contained to onboard toilets, porta potties or the toilet provided. Under NO circumstances are toilet cassettes to be emptied in or around the river or campsites. RIVER ACCESS: Our large sites offer sweeping views and great fishing however the banks are raised and will require some tenacity if you wish to swim or pop a kayak in. You can however moore small watercraft including boats & jetskis after putting them in at the boat ramp a short drive up the river. FENCING: We have farm fencing in place between the camp sites and the river bank, however we advise small children be monitored as there are several open access points along the riverbank. As mentioned, we are a working farm using gates and fences to contain our livestock. As a rule, leave all gates as you find them (eg: if you open a gate, close it after you. If its already open, leave it open) WILDLIFE: You'll see huge wombat holes all along the river bank - although tempting for the kids, please refrain from digging these out further as our wombats still use them as houses and they contribute to riverbank erosion. You may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of our fabled red stag in the evenings and will see an array of beautiful birds and other native animals that share our property. Please note: Any form of animal cruelty will not be tolerated and there is no hunting allowed on the property. *FIRES: Govt / weather restrictions permitting. Mabe lit in designated firepit areas only - BYO Firewood. A small wood pile is provided to each camp on arrival to get you started and provide a modest fire for the night, however chopped firewood is available by the bag or wheelbarrow on a cash basis. $25 for a large bag - $50 for a barrow. Let us know in your booking if you'd like us to arrange to have purchased firewood on site for when you arrive.

HORSE ONSITE Our beautiful Seahorse Chester likes to hang out with the campers. He is very social and friendly however. please supervise small children at all times, if your dog is not familiar with livestock please do not allow them to roam or have them tied up so they do not chase him! We are a farm forestry property located in the middle of the north shore of Port Stephens. Two hours north of Hornsby. 1 hour north of Newcastle. 2 mins to Pindimar beach, 9 minutes to Coles and bottle shop, 11 minutes to surf beach Bennett Beach 12 minutes to Jimmy's Beach. Pets are welcome please pick up after them. Unfortunately, due to a recent incident. All dogs from now on must be on a leash at all times. The dangerous dog in question bit 4 people in less than 24 hours. Including my husband twice. You know your dog, But you cannot predict what another campers's dog is going to be like. Any dog on the NSW dangerous dogs list is absolutely not welcome here. Free use of fire pits and free firewoods. You will need to be split the logs yourself. axes and wheelbarrows are supplied. Hot showers and decent toilets, Good mobile phone signal. Two Communal Fridges .There is lots of space for campers. We have two sites with shade, four without. We suggest you bring a decent quality gazebo or equivalent. If you choose a non-shady site and then it's sunny, it is beyond our control. We are located on a dead end road, so very rare to have any traffic after 8pm. PLEASE NOTE: 1) We ONLY ALLOW ONE camper trailer or ONE caravan per site. No limit on number of tents. 2) IF You Have more than 3 vehicles/site please contact host before booking. 3) Depending on the weather on the day, we may have to limit the number of vehicles that can be parked adjacent to your campsite. 4) NO late night check in . If you are a group larger than two people, the check in time is between midday and sunset. Do not arrive after sunset. If in doubt call. 5) As the business name suggests (mountain) our property is on a hill. we are creating more level campsites. This year the weather has been terrible. From record rain to drought conditions in 3 months. Because of the earthworks there has been a bit of dust, which we have tried to control with grass seed and then no rain.... once each section of earthworks is done. Shade trees are being planted. But they are slow to grow. 6) Please check weather report a minimum of 7 days before you arrive and CANCEL your booking if you are not sure. 7) We cannot control the wind, the sun, rain, or lack of rain.

We are dedicated to creating a more sustainable lifestyle and sharing our beautiful farm with others. As a permaculture farm recycling is a huge part of our culture so please read our detailed guidelines to waste management for campers. The farm features extensive food gardens , a beautiful Yoga Barn, and a farm and forest walks. Our campground is close to town, bush walks and cycle trails. Grab a map and set up your camp. 3 - KIDS should always be accompanied beyond the immediate campground. 4 - Enjoy a SHORT WALK around the gardens. We kindly ask you to keep the gates closed and not to pick the food. FARM WALK, follow the walk trail sign around our forest about 30/40 min.. 5 - DOGS should be on a lead at all time, we do have 1 designated paddock (not fenced) where you can have your dog off leads, please ask us. We do not accept mixed rubbish in our bin, so if you don't separate take them away with you. We will be more than happy to explain and help you with your waste. 8 - QUIET time from 9pm - please be mindful of others campers - no parties or late music. No generators. 9 - VISITORS between 9 - 4 and please ask them to park in the general carpark 10 - We are a SMOKE FREE farm.

Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main lake that offers great swimming. Site five overlooks the lake and opens into a private bush area. The Scrub Campsite located in remnant vegetation (14 minutes from Victor Harbor ) is a rustic self check in campsite as the owners do not reside near the campsite. Welcome to our spacious riverside camp sites on the banks of the beautiful Moruya river in the South Coast of New South Wales! Glenduart Farm Riverside camps are the perfect location for enjoying the camp, or as a base for exploring the local area. We are located just a short distance from town, where you can find a range of shops, restaurants and cafes. If you love markets, you're in luck! There are plenty of local markets in the area, including the Moruya Country Markets which are held every Saturday. You can also visit the Moruya Farmers Market, held on Tuesday afternoons, or the nearby Tilba Market, held on Saturday mornings. The tiny nearby town of Bodalla boasts a magnificent dairy with cheese tasting (try the lemon myrtle!) and interactive calf feeding daily at 10am and 4pm. If you want a few pints and great meal, the ribs at the Adelaide Hotel are magnificent (although only available seasonally) and a courtesy bus is available from the entrance to the property. There are plenty of tourist attractions to explore in the area, including the stunning Eurobodalla National Park, the historic town of Mogo and the renowned Mogo Zoo. For those who love the outdoors, the Moruya river is perfect for fishing, kayaking and swimming. If you're looking for natural beauty, you'll be spoilt for choice. Take a drive along the coast and discover beautiful, secluded beaches, or explore the nearby forests and waterfalls. Our riverside camp sites are great for large or small groups boasting generously sized and spaced grassed sites offering beautiful views of the abundant Moruya river along with individual firepits* Whatever your interests, Glenduart Farm Riverside Camps are the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that the South Coast has to offer. THE IMPORTANT STUFF: ACCESS: As you enter the property, you'll find yourself driving down an unsealed dirt road, before embarking on approx 100 meters of fairly flat to gently sloping paddocks. We recommend 4WD or AWD vehicles to access, however will leave this to your discretion. PETS: We are a working farm with horses and cows that are easily spooked and we only allow dogs under very (very) special circumstances. Please send an enquiry if you wish to bring a furbaby along, but as a rule, we do not allow dogs on the property. AMENITIES: There are no drinking water or electricity provisions on site. There is a toilet provided with walking distance to all sites. Our future campers and native wildlife request that you keep your business contained to onboard toilets, porta potties or the toilet provided. Under NO circumstances are toilet cassettes to be emptied in or around the river or campsites. RIVER ACCESS: Our large sites offer sweeping views and great fishing however the banks are raised and will require some tenacity if you wish to swim or pop a kayak in. You can however moore small watercraft including boats & jetskis after putting them in at the boat ramp a short drive up the river. FENCING: We have farm fencing in place between the camp sites and the river bank, however we advise small children be monitored as there are several open access points along the riverbank. As mentioned, we are a working farm using gates and fences to contain our livestock. As a rule, leave all gates as you find them (eg: if you open a gate, close it after you. If its already open, leave it open) WILDLIFE: You'll see huge wombat holes all along the river bank - although tempting for the kids, please refrain from digging these out further as our wombats still use them as houses and they contribute to riverbank erosion. You may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of our fabled red stag in the evenings and will see an array of beautiful birds and other native animals that share our property. Please note: Any form of animal cruelty will not be tolerated and there is no hunting allowed on the property. *FIRES: Govt / weather restrictions permitting. Mabe lit in designated firepit areas only - BYO Firewood. A small wood pile is provided to each camp on arrival to get you started and provide a modest fire for the night, however chopped firewood is available by the bag or wheelbarrow on a cash basis. $25 for a large bag - $50 for a barrow. We are a farm forestry property located in the middle of the north shore of Port Stephens. Two hours north of Hornsby. 1 hour north of Newcastle. 2 mins to Pindimar beach, 9 minutes to Coles and bottle shop, 11 minutes to surf beach Bennett Beach 12 minutes to Jimmy's Beach. Pets are welcome please pick up after them. Unfortunately, due to a recent incident. All dogs from now on must be on a leash at all times. The dangerous dog in question bit 4 people in less than 24 hours. Including my husband twice. You know your dog, But you cannot predict what another campers's dog is going to be like. Any dog on the NSW dangerous dogs list is absolutely not welcome here. Free use of fire pits and free firewoods. You will need to be split the logs yourself. axes and wheelbarrows are supplied. Hot showers and decent toilets, Good mobile phone signal. Two Communal Fridges .There is lots of space for campers. We have two sites with shade, four without. We suggest you bring a decent quality gazebo or equivalent. If you choose a non-shady site and then it's sunny, it is beyond our control. We are located on a dead end road, so very rare to have any traffic after 8pm. PLEASE NOTE: 1) We ONLY ALLOW ONE camper trailer or ONE caravan per site. No limit on number of tents. 2) IF You Have more than 3 vehicles/site please contact host before booking. 3) Depending on the weather on the day, we may have to limit the number of vehicles that can be parked adjacent to your campsite. 4) NO late night check in . If you are a group larger than two people, the check in time is between midday and sunset. Do not arrive after sunset. If in doubt call. 5) As the business name suggests (mountain) our property is on a hill. we are creating more level campsites. This year the weather has been terrible. From record rain to drought conditions in 3 months. Because of the earthworks there has been a bit of dust, which we have tried to control with grass seed and then no rain.... once each section of earthworks is done. Shade trees are being planted. But they are slow to grow. 6) Please check weather report a minimum of 7 days before you arrive and CANCEL your booking if you are not sure. 7) We cannot control the wind, the sun, rain, or lack of rain.

The Scrub Campsite located in remnant vegetation (14 minutes from Victor Harbor ) is a rustic self check in campsite as the owners do not reside near the campsite. Campers choose their site in the designated camp spots. Sites are not allocated unless by prior arrangement. Persons under 18, youth groups, school groups or scout groups etc. are not permitted to book at the campsite. A communal camp kitchen, water tanks and compost toilet is available for campers use. Fire pits are located at each site. Campers will be advised of fire bans. Wood can be purchased from the self service white ibc container for $15 for 20kgs. Please adhere to the camp rules which are posted at each campsite. The campsite is located on the Heysen Trail and close to many Lower Fleurieu Peninsula beaches and attractions. The popular Belicious Cafe is a 45 minute walk. Whole campsite bookings can be made by contacting the owners. We ask that campers respect all other campers, the land that they are camping on and follow the campers motto - Leave nothing but your footprints. Once booked you will receive a text outlining the camp policies and instructions.

THE IMPORTANT STUFF: ACCESS: As you enter the property, you'll find yourself driving down an unsealed dirt road, before embarking on approx 100 meters of fairly flat to gently sloping paddocks. We recommend 4WD or AWD vehicles to access, however will leave this to your discretion. PETS: We are a working farm with horses and cows that are easily spooked and we only allow dogs under very (very) special circumstances. Please send an enquiry if you wish to bring a furbaby along, but as a rule, we do not allow dogs on the property. AMENITIES: There are no drinking water or electricity provisions on site. There is a toilet provided with walking distance to all sites. Our future campers and native wildlife request that you keep your business contained to onboard toilets, porta potties or the toilet provided. Under NO circumstances are toilet cassettes to be emptied in or around the river or campsites. RIVER ACCESS: Our large sites offer sweeping views and great fishing however the banks are raised and will require some tenacity if you wish to swim or pop a kayak in. You can however moore small watercraft including boats & jetskis after putting them in at the boat ramp a short drive up the river. FENCING: We have farm fencing in place between the camp sites and the river bank, however we advise small children be monitored as there are several open access points along the riverbank. As mentioned, we are a working farm using gates and fences to contain our livestock. As a rule, leave all gates as you find them (eg: if you open a gate, close it after you. If its already open, leave it open) WILDLIFE: You'll see huge wombat holes all along the river bank - although tempting for the kids, please refrain from digging these out further as our wombats still use them as houses and they contribute to riverbank erosion. You may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of our fabled red stag in the evenings and will see an array of beautiful birds and other native animals that share our property. Please note: Any form of animal cruelty will not be tolerated and there is no hunting allowed on the property. *FIRES: Govt / weather restrictions permitting. Mabe lit in designated firepit areas only - BYO Firewood. A small wood pile is provided to each camp on arrival to get you started and provide a modest fire for the night, however chopped firewood is available by the bag or wheelbarrow on a cash basis. $25 for a large bag - $50 for a barrow. We are a farm forestry property located in the middle of the north shore of Port Stephens. Two hours north of Hornsby. 1 hour north of Newcastle. 2 mins to Pindimar beach, 9 minutes to Coles and bottle shop, 11 minutes to surf beach Bennett Beach 12 minutes to Jimmy's Beach. Pets are welcome please pick up after them. Unfortunately, due to a recent incident. All dogs from now on must be on a leash at all times. The dangerous dog in question bit 4 people in less than 24 hours. Including my husband twice. You know your dog, But you cannot predict what another campers's dog is going to be like. Any dog on the NSW dangerous dogs list is absolutely not welcome here. Free use of fire pits and free firewoods. You will need to be split the logs yourself. axes and wheelbarrows are supplied. Hot showers and decent toilets, Good mobile phone signal. Two Communal Fridges .There is lots of space for campers. We have two sites with shade, four without. We suggest you bring a decent quality gazebo or equivalent. If you choose a non-shady site and then it's sunny, it is beyond our control. We are located on a dead end road, so very rare to have any traffic after 8pm. PLEASE NOTE: 1) We ONLY ALLOW ONE camper trailer or ONE caravan per site. No limit on number of tents. 2) IF You Have more than 3 vehicles/site please contact host before booking. 3) Depending on the weather on the day, we may have to limit the number of vehicles that can be parked adjacent to your campsite. 4) NO late night check in . From record rain to drought conditions in 3 months. Because of the earthworks there has been a bit of dust, which we have tried to control with grass seed and then no rain.... once each section of earthworks is done. Shade trees are being planted. But they are slow to grow. 6) Please check weather report a minimum of 7 days before you arrive and CANCEL your booking if you are not sure. 7) We cannot control the wind, the sun, rain, or lack of rain.

Mei was a fantastic host. Even gave us a little present on Christmas Day. She met us when we arrived and helped us select a plot which was perfect for our needs. The facilities such as toilets and washrooms are clean, new and fantastic. The communal area is being finished but will be great as it already hosts fridges, gym equipment and seating. Bundilla River Camp is a great spot for either a 1 nighter or longer stay. We stayed for 3 nights, Rick & Cheryl are amazing hosts, friendly and accommodating. Amenities are clean and grounds are very well maintained. We stayed on site 3 (no power) pick of the lot! (Good for solar) Early morning sun with plenty of shade in the afternoon, close to toilets, communal area and access to the river. River is very good for cooling off, kid friendly too. I would highly recommend staying at Bundilla, With Animal feeding available, firewood, eggs, delivered to your site, its a no brainer! Thank you Rick & Cheryl for an amazing, enjoyable camping experience, we will definitely come back again.

We offer you a well located and secure camp-site to explore the North Coast or for that overnight stay while you are travelling to your destination and need a safe place to camp. Our four campsites are spacious and are freshly mown flat grassed sites. Each campsite has 1 or 2 stone circles for campfires, with free kindling and free firewood supplied to all campsites. Whether you are a single traveller, a couple, family or group booking we have the campsite for you. We are family friendly and dog friendly. Dungarubba Fields is a private, rural setting on six acres on Bundjalung country. Four of our camp sites are situated across a small bridge in the back paddock, and one camp site is situated just before the bridge for those self driving campervans with a wider wheel-base. The paddock was once cleared and in recent years we have planted and cared for over 100 new Koala and rainforest trees. After the Northern Rivers floods of 2022 we are now continuing the bush regeneration beside the Dungarubba wetland which borders our property. Our camp-sites offer shade, space, wildlife and birdlife. Campfires are allowed 12 months a year depending on fire ratings and local conditions except on days of Total Fire Ban and the preceding evening going into a Total Fire Ban. We supply the free firewood to each campsite as we understand how important the campfire is to the camping experience. Outside the fire season we can supply a readymade Bonfire at an additional cost to your booking. Hipcampers can access fresh drinking water (rainwater) from our rainwater tanks, with an accessible tap near our home. Hipcampers have access to a downstairs flushing toilet at the house. We offer a Portaloo for larger group bookings situated beside your camp site as an optional extra for an additional cost. The Portaloo needs to be booked when you make your booking. The house on the property was originally built in 1903 as the Catholic Church of the nearby locality Riley's Hill. In the 1940’s it was moved to the current site after low attendance by parishioners who didn’t want to have to row across the Richmond River and get their feet wet to attend Mass. The church sold the building in the 1980’s and it was raised off the ground with two new wings attached on either side to become a private residence. The sugar cane and soybeans, however more surrounding land is being planted to Macadamia nuts which will change the look of the landscape in future. During May to November of an evening, you can look out for the occasional cane fire which is a historic part of the harvesting of sugar. The Richmond River and boat ramp is a short 2 minutes drive for both fishing and water skiing. The Broadwater National Park with sand-dunes and a fishing beach is only a 10 minute drive away. The Pacific Highway is 7 minutes drive away. The beautiful coastal village of Evans Head with shops, a medical clinic and a patrolled beach is just a 15 minutes drive. The nearest townships are Broadwater (2 fuel stations and a pub under new management), Coraki (junction of 2 rivers), Woodburn (pub with a bistro and a laundrette) and Evans Head (a township with most services). We are a 45 minutes drive to Byron Bay and 25 minutes to the coastal city of Ballina up the Pacific Highway or 25 minutes drive inland to the city of Lismore. We welcome friendly dogs and there is plenty of space for them to run around and chase balls or other dogs. Our dog Stella is a 4 year old Blue Heeler, who greets people from the balcony barking as you drive in. Don’t let the barking fool you as she loves visitors and their dogs. We expect owners to be responsible for their dogs and in particularly when there are Koalas close by. We ask dogs not to roam at night as Koalas are nocturnal (and so are other critters) and night-time is when they choose their food tree for the next day and roam around. Please note - All the area that has been slashed in the front paddocks you can camp in and spread out.Beach access is straight over the road from the front gate. You can lite fires and firewood is for sale at the farm gate store honesty box further down the road from the gate you enter if you don't bring your own.Escape the modern tourist world and in a pristine, undeveloped old country farming area right on the coast near the mouth of the famous Snowy River. Amazing fishing in both the River and Corringle Beach, with many different species caught at different times of the year. Enjoy the 40-kilometre deserted beach, sun baking (even nude if that's your thing), and swimming, but care must be taken (unpatrolled surf beach). Romantic sunsets with no one but the odd seal and sounds of the waves to disturb you. Beach fire at night is something special to do. The beach track is across from the front gate, there is no beach sign from the road because the public will then use the track which is only for Hipcampers and you wont enjoy the deserted beach. Call me if you cant find the track, but most people have not had a problem. This walking access is steep, easier tracks can be driven to down the road.Or take a dip in the river further down the road, and explore the waterways, with many birds; black swans in the lakes next to camp, plus kangaroos, wombats, emu and deer. There is a boat ramp just down the road to explore the river system. Perfect for water sports, and with fish cleaning tables at the wharf.  Go by boat to the Marlo Hotel from the wharf straight over the river.Orbost is 15 minutes drive and has a supermarket, hotel, bottle shop and other conveniences. We are open to accepting larger group bookings, but please discuss this with us first. Other things you can do in the area: - Driving trips to High Country Scenic Route and exploring the High Country (4-5 hour round trip).- Visit the Buchan Caves about an hour into the High Country - they are amazing.- Explore Cape Conran & you can even Dive for Abalone and Crayfish.- Visit Lakes Entrance and buy Seafood from the Trawlers.- Drive to Mt Hotham ski resort and explore the Omeo High Country (3 hours)- Visit Gordon at the Opal & Gemstone House in Orbost and find out about the gold, geology and gemstones of the area, hearing first-hand stories about how the area was many years ago from a great local old-timer who loves to share his knowledge and the old ways things were done.

I have a small private property with grass campsites by a tidal outlet to Port Stephens harbour. We do not offer secluded camp sites away from other people on large acreage. You can spend your days fishing, kayaking or enjoying Nelson Bay and surrounding areas and beaches which are only 15 minutes away. Guests have the use of a retreat shelter/fire place/BBQ area and wifi. Campers must try to be self contained bringing their own water, toilet and shower. Sorry, no caravans over 20ft. Suite solo travellers, couples wanting a quiet weekend and LGBT friendly. We do have available tank, rain water for drinking, a toilet and hot shower, microwave and free wifi available for those who cannot be totally self contained. The Rockcliffe vineyard was originally an apple orchard. In 1990, the first vines were planted, and in 2007 we built a "State of the Art winery", which is located on the property. Rockcliffe is now the biggest winery in the region. We sell wines all over the world and in Australia. We focus on producing small batches of high-quality wines, all of which can be tasted at the Rockcliffe Cellar Door. We welcome self-contained travelers to come and stay for 1, 2 or 3 nights maximum. On booking your site, you will be amongst the vines on one of our levelled bays which are allocated on a first come basis. It is important you have your own toilet, as we do not offer facilities here outside of our cellar door hours. Overflow camping is also available in the paddock across from the winery, suitable over summer when it is dry and we are running our summer music events over the weekend. Please get in touch to enquire about this. The place is very quiet, being in a rural setting, but only 4km from Denmark town. If you are a cyclist, this is an ideal place to stay. We have a mountain biking track that goes around the vines, paddocks, and through the forests, all of which are part of the beautiful Rockcliffe property. The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat your children to Gelato and Fudge. We also offer Cheese Platters, Pizza's and Fries. The kitchen is open from 12-4pm for lunch Sunday through till Thursday and from 1-7pm for lunch and dinner Friday and Saturdays.
