A small family farm that has been in Dennis's family since 1914. The old county road once existed in front of our house. Where horses and wagons would stop to off load part of their load to continue up the hill. They would return to pick up the rest and continue on. Since inheriting the farm, we have moved towards sustainable farming. We follow grass fed measures while raising our sheep the poultry free ranges to control the flea and tick population on the farm. Our vegetables are grown organically. We harvest only what is needed to heat our home from the forest leaving under growth alone. Last fall almost a hundred acres, of our farm, went into land conservation protecting it from urban sprawl.

A short drive to whitewater rafting, tubing, ziplining, hiking, food and museums. The "artery of humanity" passes by to keep accessibility to these fun activities. Come enjoy the activities or just relax in beautiful Ashfield!!!

Pitch your tent on a 10'x12' wood platform. A five minute walk will bring you up, a small incline, to this private site in the woods. The site is accessible by small 4wheel drive vehicles. You will enjoy a fire pit, two adirondack chairs and your own portable privy(removable bags). We will provide a complete kitchen even the camp stove. There is NO running water or power. You have the use of a shower, if needed. Your site is close to many outdoor sports, hiking trails, a lake and attractions! With closeness of activities brings the "artery of humanity" passing by. Come have fun playing or just relax in beautiful Ashfield!!!

I have been to this site four times. Every time we go, it’s well kept. The bathroom situation is very convenient and since we usually go mid-September, there are very few bugs. The hosts are very responsive as well.
