Camping is provided by and in support of the Blueberry Hill Outdoor Center, a 501 3C non-profit company. Located in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest, the Outdoor Center provides access to the Blueberry Hill network of trails, the Vermont Long Trail, The Catamount Trail, and the Moosalamoo National Forest Trails. All campsites are located at the edge of the field behind the Outdoor Center. We have hot/cold outdoor showers as well as restrooms in the Outdoor Center. For more information, visit our website at blueberryhilltrails dot com. While there is an internet connection near the buildings, it may not be available at your site. Cell service is limited at best. You can drive your car right up to your site. Sites are a good distance apart. Site 1 and the Bed in the Shed are the most private. Site two is quite open and supports trailers. For your campfire, you can forage for wood or request "bundles" to purchase (about a dozen hunks of wood) by the morning of your arrival, and we'll have it delivered to your site. Please note, wood from outside Vermont is not permitted. We like to keep things quiet. No generators at any time. Step outside your tent and you'll find a wealth of hiking, biking, and running trails. As stewards of these trails, your camping fees help support the efforts of this non-profit company. Nearby, you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. Trail maps are provided upon arrival, and you can also view them online on our webpage at Blueberry Hill Outdoor Center. The Outdoor Center offers snacks and cold drinks for purchase, including our inn-made chocolate chip cookies, chips, and cold drinks. Also available on site, at the Inn across the road on mornings we are serving, may be a full breakfast, pastries, packed lunch, and coffee. (Please enquire in advance or night before if any inn items are available. ) Don't miss our Pizza Nights at the inn. More info on the Outdoor Center or Blueberry Hill Inn webpage. Payment for extras can be made on-site via Venmo or cash. In August, enjoy blueberry picking right here on-site! Give us 1/2 your pick. We do not sell.

Site 1 Tent Site

Tent site · Sleeps 6
Site 1 is private and charming, and perfect for you if you are sleeping in a tent. You can drive right up to it (1 car and 2 tent fits best, but there's additional parking or place for a third tent nearby) and it is easily accessible by walking. There is some shade as the site backs up on trees, and camp fires are super fun here! Get the marshmallows ready. :) There is also a charming walking path right out your tent door. Camper vans work here too but not trailers.

Cabin · Sleeps 6 · 1 bedroom · 1 bed
The Bed in the Shed is adjacent to the Blueberry Hill Inn and Outdoor and in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest and Moosalamoo Recreation Area.  Great sunsets! We offer access to outdoor showers with hot and cold running water and toilets in the nearby Outdoor Center.  There is an internet connection near the buildings but not at your site. You can drive your car to the site. There is privacy between the sites though you can see the site nearby. You can forage for wood for a small fire or you can request 'bundles' to be available upon arrival.  Access to many hiking/biking/running trails just outside your tent door. We are stewards of these trails and your camping fees help to support our work. Nearby swimming, kayaking, and canoeing available too. We provide trail maps upon arrival and you can also view them online from our webpage at Blueberry Hill Outdoor Center. Blueberry picking on-site in August. Don't want to cook? Trail lunches are available; check out our site at Blueberry Hill Inn and contact me if you need more information.  This site provides space for a couple of tents as well as has a shed (10x10) which has a double bed! This site is on the edge of the field with shade provided by apple trees. (We have two additional sites in the adjacent field too.) The walk to the bathrooms and showers and water is about 2 minutes. We provide a bottom sheet for the bed and two pillows, but no comforter. There is no electricity; it is simply a bed in a shed. Camper vans are also ok here but nothing over 20 feet. Visitors, non-campers, may be welcome with advance notice. We limit the number of campers in order to provide a quiet experience. If your party is over 6 please also reserve an additional campsite.

  • Review summary

    Generated from real Hipcamper reviews

Blueberry Hill offers a serene camping experience with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The site is known for its abundant outdoor activities, such as hiking and stargazing, and the amenities like outdoor showers and clean bathrooms add to the comfort. While most campers find the host Shari to be accommodating and helpful, there was an instance of miscommunication regarding site allocation, which led to some dissatisfaction. However, the overall feedback is overwhelmingly positive, with guests appreciating the natural beauty and tranquil setting.

We had a great overnight stay at Blueberry Hill. It was, literally, perfect in every way. We explored the beautiful surroundings. Lakes and wonderful terrain. The fabulous host was so kind to us when we arrived and walked us down to our camping site - a total professional. We can’t wait to come back!

Tent camped at Site 1 Tent Site, Oct 2026.

    It was okay

Blueberry farm is a gorgeous property. You are surrounded by nature and peace. Unfortunately, we did not have that great of experience with the host. When we arrived we were told that she mistakenly put someone else at the site we booked. The host recommended we try another site but if we wanted our initial site then she would have to have the other person pack all their stuff up and move. Obviously, we werent going to make that person move. We initially didn’t mind, trying to make the other site work however we had a camper van and just couldn’t fit comfortably at the other recommended site. We then reconnected with the host letting her know this and we were met with an unkind response. We ultimately found a spot that worked but were in an open field with no privacy with our dog. Overall it’s a beautiful place, I just wish that we were met with a little bit more kindness.

We loved camping in our van on blueberry Hill. The views were spectacular. All of the trees were in full fall foliage. The outdoor center nearby was perfect for convenience and level of comfort. We would definitely come here again.
