Everything’s ducky at Tims Ford! Located on the Tims Ford Reservoir, this 2,200-acre park is famed for its aquatic recreation. Don’t own a boat? No prob. Rent one (or a jetski!) at the Lake View Marina. Swimming and fishing in the lake are also fine and dandy. Feel like a fish out of water in the water? There’s plenty to keep you busy on dry land. Miles of both paved and unpaved hiking and biking trails wind along the reservoir’s shoreline. Keep your eyes peeled and your binos handy to spot some feathered friends. If you’re lucky you might catch a glimpse of the elusive Bald Eagle! And if golf’s your game, tee off on the 18-hole course. Surrounded by the picturesque landscape, the Reservoir is visible from almost all the holes. Just be sure not to aim for it.
