Discover the most magical spots to pitch your tent or park your rig on your next Eastman Lake adventure.
This scenic retreat draws nature lovers and oudoor enthusiasts.
A tranquil lake ‘bout an hour north of Fresno, Eastman Lake has a lucky 13 miles of shoreline, golden grassy hills, oak and chaparral-covered slopes, and scenic mountain views. The staff here are a friendly bunch that totally get that girls (and guys) just wanna have fun. They’ve been praised repeatedly in online reviews.
Primarily used for water sports like water skiing, jet skiing, sailing, kayaking, canoeing and windsurfing, the park also offers a number of trails for hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians. The Monument Ridge area has a disc golf course, softball diamond, picnic tables and portable restrooms. Visitors can also camp overnight, fish (it’s California's first Trophy Bass Fishery) and hunt (provided you follow the laws of the land). Try to avoid the peak summer months if you’re adverse to serious heat.
The ideal time to visit Eastman Lake is during the spring and fall when the weather is mild and the natural scenery is at its peak. Summer brings warmth perfect for water activities, though it can be crowded. Winters are quieter but cooler, with limited access to some areas.
