Overall a good experience. When we got there our Jupe tent was taken by someone else and all the other tents had issues so instead we were in a canvas tent. Staff were very nice and apologetic and the facilities got the job done. 3.8/5

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location to Yosemite is super convenient and the facilities were better than we expected. Bathrooms/ showers/ common spaces were clean and it was nice to be able to walk next door to the hotel to have access to their pool and fast wifi. I will definitely be staying here again!!

This was a great stopover before entering Yosemite NP. It’s about a 40 min drive to the park entrance. This tent is within a campground and next to a hotel, so don’t expect to be solo. But because of this, there are plenty of amenities onsite including bathrooms and showers.
Even though it was 106 when we arrived, you can walk down to the river to cool off. You can also use the pool at the lodge next door.
There is AC in the tent, but you can’t run it for longer than 30 minutes before blowing the power box.

Love the amenities of the hotel restaurant and pool.
However, it was advertised as having AC in the tent and upon check-in, however, when we called for help with turning it on, they said the AC did not work in any of the Jute Tents.

These are really cool. They are situated in an rv park. Each unit is run by a solar battery that can and will run out of you use the lights to much. This happened to me and i fell, hit my head and needed some bandaging for clean up.
Later that night after resolving the first issue. I got up in the middle of night to pee and scraped the back of my heel on the uneven plywood floor. There’s not v a whole lot of room to move around.
But once settled. Everything was sort of pleasant. Lots of noise from other campers and rv families.
They have some kinks to work out. The units are new, nice, clean with zip fronts for windows and doors. The wood is new the floor patterns not to easy to navigate, and the managers themselves don’t seem to know to much about how they work. And they’re a bit pricey.
All that said, it’s worth the gamble for one night

I was really looking forward to this stay, but unfortunately, several of the amenities that were listed on the Hipcamp page were either unavailable or did not exist. Despite this, I was still charged the full price. It felt misleading and frustrating, especially since I chose this location based on what was advertised. I hope the listing is updated to reflect what’s actually available so future guests aren’t caught off guard.

The entire site was a complete misrepresentation of what was shown in the pictures — no views, tents crammed next to each other, and the whole place felt overcrowded and poorly maintained.
We arrived late at night only to find our assigned tents already occupied by someone else. To make matters worse, the rest of the tents were not even set up properly — linens were missing, and the beds were messy and clearly not cleaned or prepared.

Great glamping spot! Everything was clean and had great vibes. It was a relaxing place to stay after long days in the park. It was also nice staying next door to Cedar Lodge and having perks like their restaurants and pool. WiFi worked great as well and everyone was friendly!

Campgrounds were a close drive to the entrance of Yosemite and the tent we rented was set up nicely. Had a great experience at Indian Flats and would recommend it. We will definitely come again.

A perfect glamping experience with a cozy bed, hot showers, clean bathrooms, a washing station, and a fire pit. Watched a stunning sunset over the lake and warmed up by the fire at night. The staff was lovely and so close to Yosemite!

Personally, for the price you get for a hotel room with A/C, a private bathroom and the comfort, I definitely wouldn’t recommend getting this spot. I’ve been in other flaming places where the bathrooms had the little details of an ambient place. I got the spot with the most shade and it was still scorching hot, the AC and electricity were run by solar power and went out in 10 minutes and the bathrooms/showers wasn’t nice for how expensive this was. Luckily staff helped to accommodate but I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone if they asked.

Really enjoyed camping in the Jupe Tent! We weren’t ready to invest in real camping gear yet so this was a great option (definitely sold us with the bed and ac) bathrooms and showers were nice and kept pretty clean. It definitely got hot during the day because there are no trees at the Jupe tent area but by the evening it cooled down. The deck in front was great for sitting and relaxing and our dog enjoyed laying there while we hung out. We would definitely do it again.

A brand new sight. Some technical issues still to be worked through with the new Jupe sites, but the staff is wonderful and accommodating. The shared amenities with Cedar Lodge are great, and access to the Yarts stop is super convenient, especially in light of the park reservation policy. Will definitely stay again.

The Jupe Tent was a delightful hybrid between tent camping and a hotel.
I wouldn’t do it every time because I like the true camping experience, but it was a really nice treat for my fiancé and I!
