The Medeiros campground has primitive campsites on the southern part of the O’Neill Forebay. Some fire rings, shade shelters and tables are available - but not one for each campsite. This campground works on a first come, first serve basis and is indeed primitive with no showers or flushable bathrooms (though chemical toilets are here). Great for folks who want the full-on, camp-like-you-mean-it experience!

Today is major muddy and magnificent. Just us and the birds... And some.... Who feel the need to speed past on the muddy road... But they move on. Not really into camping those folks and maybe my van is scaring them :). It is awesome and I got a disabled discount. I think I'll stay awhile.
