No jokes, just a handful of first-come, first-served sites that offer access to the lesser travelled part of Zion, Kolob Terrace, Lava Point, and one of the raddest canyons, maybe ever, “The Subway." Lava Point Campground sites offer pit toilets and trash cans, but is otherwise primitive (aka bring your own water supply). With golden valley views, aspens galore and a quieter site of Zion, you aren’t even going to believe you didn’t pay a dime for this winning spot.

A great little spot! A bit out of the way however you can still expect to find others there as well. I camped out of the peak season and was still a little shocked to find a few others there. It definitely dipped below freezing during my stay but nothing a good sleeping back couldn't handle! You definitely wont be disappointed with the scenery, and Kolob Reservoir is nearby as well!
