If you like a little peace and quiet after a day full of outdoor activities, then Cedar Springs Campground is the place for you. Shade is limited, but lush vegetation allows for lots of privacy between sites and many of them have gorgeous views of the reservoir and red cliffs below, setting quite the romantic ambiance (insert winky face). This small campground has single and double-family sites complete with picnic tables and fire rings, but you’ll have to trek a half mile to shower. Luckily, all of the water-based recreational activities should keep you fresh enough not to worry about the "S" word.

I loved this campground. It was well kept. We were able to pick a spot with a view. It was such a short distance to the gorge too. At the dock near the campsite you can rent different things like kayaks and go explore the gorge. It was GORGEous :)

The view from one of the campsites. You had to walk a few feet to see, but we just set some chairs out there and enjoyed it. Renting kayaks is easy and pretty close to the campsiteSunset at Red Canyon Overlook. About a 15 minute drive from the campsite but definitely worth stopping at.
