This little cabin was super sweet and a great place to rest our head during our couple days in Yellowstone. The cabin was warm during the cold nights and the bed was very comfortable. It still felt like "camping" because of the cute battery lanterns that were provided and the composting toilet. Can I just say that this composting toilet was wonderful!!! Yellowstone was so close (30 min) and I found this entrance to the park to be the most beautiful to drive into! Two separate hot springs places were only 10 min away and were both so great to visit (highly recommend). The hosts went out of their way to make a booklet of recommendations and even added little thoughtful touches for us to take home. I wish we had more time so we could thank our hosts in person! I would stay here again!
We loved our two nights here! Jen and her partner truly love this land and their animals and you can feel it when you arrive. They were very kind hosts and shared tips on what to do in the area. It was lovely to stay out of the city, but have it be only a 30 min drive to Missoula. There was a smaller town nearby as well. A picnic table nearby our tent was a nice amenity to have. The land here was our favorite part! We were surrounded by gorgeous 360 views. Would highly recommend!
Short drive into town and to the park. More magical than expected. Quiet, safe, with lots of room to explore. Other guests were around but very spread out. Bathroom was very clean and tidy. The hammocks were a highlight, especially lit up at night. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
Moonshadow Ranch is a little gem of a place! Nestled in the valley between two beautiful mountain ranges beside a creek you will find this lovely piece of land and the wonderful family that owns it. Lots of property to explore onsite and tons of stuff to do nearby within a short drive. Tony and his family made us feel so welcomed as if we were part of the family. We loved sitting by their beautifully constructed campfire which overlooks the creek! If i could give more stars I would!
