Cozy Solo Vintage RV Farm Stay
in Kokomo Farms, FloridaDelightful respite
What a magical spot to sit under the stars and see the eclipse of the moon, meet fellow travelers and chat by the fire like old friends.
I spent 2 nights here, re-energizing for my drive back to CA in my RV and certainly lounged and rested everywhere I could, from the hanging bed on the porch for an afternoon nap, to the soaking tub and inside the common area for guests, I felt so welcomed by Trudy and Greg.
You can tell they love opening their home and hearts to people and animals.
What a wonderful place - highly recommended.
Ocala Forest Lakefront Paradise
in Marci's Magical Lakefront Oasis, FloridaLakefront peace
What a wonderful view and grounds. The lake is better than any netflix series - sunset just divine.
The outdoor shower is awesome even in a bit of a brisk chill, having hot water cascading down, knowing you can snuggle up into cozy warmth, great amenity.
There's also an indoor soaking tub, toilet and sink available.
My RV is 11.5" high with a rubber roof and there were quite a few low hanging and side-hugging branches on my way in, so I just parked it and didn't move until time to leave.
Marci had her yard person trim, but still not quite the width or height for my class C (I can't recall how wide my RV is).
She's got a sweet little cat and dog. And some frisky night creature, most likely a raccoon, stole one of my shoes! But I found it - I guess it wasn't their style ;-)
Marci has her porch available, too, should you want a change of scenery of the lake near the large tree in the backyard.
Really peaceful and enjoyable spot.
Riverview RV hookup (30amp-compact)
in Waterfront Tiny House, VirginiaAmy has a great spot of land overlooking the river. I was there during a bit of cold and rainy weather and loved sitting in the art studio - open to her camper guests. It was a quiet and inspiring environment.
The site where I parked my RV is on the property line with the neighbor's house, but out my back window I could see the sloping yard and river.
I love how she has part of her property grown for privacy for the tent campers.
She's welcoming and vibrant - I enjoyed my stay and meeting Amy.
