Forest Yurt-like Gazebo
in Rock'n K Ranch, OregonAn or coastal forest paradise!!
Excellent spot on the coast! A stone's throw away (somehow you don't get that impression on Google Maps). Karen was so welcoming to my family, provided constant entertainment for my kids, opened her home for showers, water, and early morning coffee, and list goes on... Karen has an incredible story and it was great to share special moments from our pasts. I highly recommend this camp and its amazing nooks and crannies in the coastal wilderness!
Rolling with the Critters
in Sunset Farms Animal Sanctuary, OregonThe Animal Sanctuary was a great place for kids. Lots of animals to care for and feed. Helen was accommodating of all of our needs, allowing a tent on-site as well. The trailer is what you'd expect, with a tiny bathroom, a fully functional kitchen, and a nice fridge/freezer combo too. The surrounding area is full of rolling hills, farmland, and a couple of nice local parks. I recommend MacKercher and McDowell (the latter of which has several nice waterfalls). I would recommend this camp to anyone looking for more comfort than a tent and sleeping bag can provide. Plus you get the benefit of witnessing all the good work Helen does for animals in need. Thanks from the Williams family!
