Earth Mountain has created a very fun atmosphere that offers the best of both worlds for families - privacy where you want it at your campsite balanced with a kids' play area and the freedom to mingle with farm animals and camp staff in the common areas. We had the camp sites farthest from the common area - a separation just over 1000 feet, so very quiet if you don't mind the walk. A pit toilet is much closer though. I suppose the closer sites might not be quite as private. We relished the total absence of sound from vehicles and airplanes. The farm itself is very pleasant and charming, though like any farm it's important for visitors to keep in mind it's a work in progress.
