Past trips
Green Leaf Canyon Primitive
in Greenleaf Canyon Camping Ground, ArizonaAs indicated it is a primitive site on a windswept plane half an hour's drive from the Grand Canyon National Park. We had great sunsets and sunrises. It is essential that you bring your own potable water. There is portable chemical toilet, and an unroofed shower space and water in a big canister is supposed to be provided for to pour water on oneself. However, unfortunately, there was no water provided on the night after a long hike in GCNP when we really could have done with it, and there was no one around all evening we could have approached about this. Minor thing that can be easily rectified. Otherwise, if you are ready for "Primitive" this is a great CG!
Desert Moon Tent Camping
in Desert Moon Campground and RV Park, UtahDesert Moon was a very friendly experience. We received a warm welcome and were looked after very well.
